Steve the owner was really nice and straight forward. He did not try to upsell or rip me off like some other companies He quoted a price and had his workers come out. They arrived promptly and did the job. They were friendly and professional. They did a great job. I would use them again.

Every person I dealt with was 100% professional and very nice to work with. They provided me with a cost per square foot over the phone and scheduled the appointment to complete the work within a few days from initial call. They gave me a time and called ahead to confirm the time and when they were on the way to my house. The workmen, James and Steven, were extremely nice and very knowledgeable. They were so clean and careful of any ceiling lights mounted through attic. I would recommend them over and over again. They told me about the rebates through the utility company and told me how to apply. I am a very happy customer. My air conditioner hasn't come on since they've been here although it's been warm enough for the attic fan to cycle on. We've had some cool mornings and the house stayed cozy all night long. No heater required. I'll save enough on energy this summer to pay for the insulation.

Our house seems to stay warmer since we had the job done. They did what they were supposed to do and it seems fine. They did a good job.

Among the most competent and professional companies I have dealt with. Checked all my recessed lights and found that most of the cans were below code and a fire hazard if used with incandescent bulbs under an insulated attic (I had to switch to LEDs). My hone inspector certainly missed this.

The people at Everguard are easily accessible by phone, and keep their appointments. Their workers (Ray and Johnathan) are friendly, work quickly and do neat clean work. Both workers seem to very much like their job, the company and their boss. Steve provided an estimate on the phone based on square footage of $0.95 for R-30 ceiling areas and $1.85 for stucco wall areas. They didn't try to inflate the final cost by trying to increase the square footage or increase the cost by selling something extra. Everguard Home Insulation is great and this comes from a person who is not at all easy to work for.

I recently bought a home that contained a large number of rodents, opussums, etc., that were in the attic and had contaminated the insulation with their feces, etc. After removing the rodents I researched how to clean the attic and also interviewed a number of professional attic/duct cleaners (including several from Angie's List). I found that most of them specialize in selling based on FEAR, their services are highly priced and their mode of removing the insulation is in violation of the Center For Disease Control ("CDC") cleaning guidelines for cleaning up rodent feces in the attic. Then I came across Everguard and they were GREAT. They have a very detailed web site that lays everything out about removing or installing insulation (including how to calculate the cost they will charge). And I found their cost was the lowest by a considerable amount because they eliminate the middleman. But more importantly, they were very flexible - both on the timing and the specific cleaning procedures that they agreed to use for me. I intend to use Everguard to install my new insulation after I complete the installation of an HVAC system in the attic. I wish every contractor was like Everguard because it would be so much easier to work on your home.

These guys are pros at what they do! They do insulation and they know their stuff. Immediately knew everything about the rebates, gave me a quote over the phone based on the dimensions I gave them. I basically called to ask them some questions; in the same call they gave me a quote (which came in much cheaper than the other quotes I had gotten), scheduled the Appt and done. The team showed up on time, did their job, gave me the invoice and instructions on the rebate and I paid with Credit Card - very convenient. They are really honest people, because a portion of the exterior wall ended up already having insulation, so they subtracted billing for billing. Whenever I need new insulation, I'll call them first! Simply put: Fast, easy, Premium service and priced very, very competitive.

Steve's crew came right on time. They were very professional. They walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Pick have bamboo wood flooring and they were very careful with their work, placing protective covering on the floor where they worked. By the time they were finished, they swept up, cleaned up inside and outside the house wherever was needed.

Roy was the crew chief and was very responsive and even made minor repairs on a attic duct . The work was promptly done and he took time to help me complete the rebate request. I inspected the work upon completion and found it was as advertised. We have low pitched roofs which required that the men crawl in the space to get the attic to the far corners of the space. The work was done expeditiously and made no mess or even dust in the house. The areas in which they worked were cleaned up before they left. The work was completed in the 2 hour time they had estimated. I would recommend this company to anyone for this type of work and would use them again if I had the need. I can already "feel" and enjoy the benefits of the insulation added.

Insulation works! The second story of my house is now about 10 degrees cooler on summer afternoons than it was before Everguard insulated. Two of the 2-story walls face south and west, so got extremely hot in summer, and the east and north exposures lost lots of heat in winter, so I decided to insulate. Everguard was able to give me a quote over the phone, based on my description of the house and its square footage. On the scheduled day, their truck, while on its way to my house, lost its brakes so had to go into the shop. They called me immediately to let me know, and were able to reschedule me for a couple of days later. On that day, they arrived promptly. I did not stay at the house while they were working, but upon my return I found that the house was clean and it was obvious that they had done the desired work. To blow the insulation into the walls, they cut lots of holes, since they have to get it into all the structure's void spaces. They put plugs into these holes, but understand that you will need someone to do a lot of patching, smoothing, and painting after the insulation work is done. I had this done as part of a larger updating project, and it was well worth it. The house is so much more comfortable now. Based on the difference I can feel in the summer heat gain, I anticipate that the heating bills this winter will also be much lower than before. I was very pleased with Everguard's work, except I didn't really understand how rough their hole patching would be. Since I planned to have the house painted anyway, this was okay. They were on time, professional, thorough, and left the house clean when they were finished.

When I finally reached the Customer Service person, she asked me the same questions over and over again. She had a comment to make about my name. When I asked if someone could come to our house for a free estimate, she suggested that I "Poke my head up in the attic" to find out about the insulation. I know nothing about these things. She didn't read any of the notes from prior emails and kept me on the phone forever. Her lack of professipnalism tainted my belief in the company.

They were late but called. The installers were friendly and explained the entire process. They looked at the attic area first and determined what the actual cost would be. They were neat and put down tarps on the carpet so no dirt and debris would get on the carpet. They were quick and even added more insulation than needed. They also gave me some suggestions about how to cool down our attic. They were fantastic.

Really great company- i kept having to re schedule due to work and just life in general. They explained all the different options and various types of insulation. They arent the cheapest or the most expensive I got 3 quotes and this company was the most informative. The best part, this is a messy process, they do all that they can to contain it (plastic over everything) as well as clean and vacuum afterward! I would refer to anyone. Thanks!

From the time I called the company provided outstanding customer service. I had measured the area in question was quoted a price over the phone. I explained where I was in my remodel and was told when I was a particular stage in the remodel process I should call to make a appointment. They called me from time to time to get a status were very nice. When I called they were able to get to me within a couple of days. They called the night before to verify appointment. The Everguard team showed up on time were very courteous. The work took a couple of hours. I am very pleased this company knows about what customer service is. From checking prices I feel that the price was a margin from what I was quoted by other companies. I would highly recommend this company and would use the again. Dennis Sherman

Everything went perfect. Steve emailed me a very detailed quote. His wife called a couple days later to follow up. She was wonderful! I knew I was going to hire them based on their Angieslist reviews alone. Their crew was professional and friendly and done in no time. Job ended up being $100 cheaper which was a pleasant surprise. Even my neighbor was impressed and said he was calling them for a quote. Will definitely hire for exterior walls in the future.

Steve was able to give me an estimate over the phone using my square footage and my description. Dena (Steve's wife) was polite, knowledgeable and helpful when follow up questions came up. Dena was flexible and helpful when setting up the appointment and verifying it. Steven and Raphael showed up on time . Both were professional and helpful. They both worked to verify the estimate Steve had given and answered questions as needed. Steven and Raphael didn't seem bothered when we wanted to see what they were doing or how they were doing it. The neat and methodic way they finished the attic was impressive. The courtesy they extended by inviting us to see their work before they removed the ladder and drop cloth was a step above. The way Steven and Rafael worked together, again, neat and methodic when completing the walls was great. The drilling was loud, but there was no way to avoid it. Steven and Raphael plugged, patched and re-stucco'd. Steven and Raphael cleaned their work area very well. They explained the prices, rebates, and warranties before starting and upon completion of the work.

I had a pretty good experience with this company. They answered my call right away and were able to service my home a week later. They added insulation. They were very professional. They gave me all the info I need to get a rebate from SoCal gas. There was a portion of my home with vaulted ceiling that couldn't be insulated so they measured that area and deducted from the price. Very nice guys. Pretty quick too.

I called Everguard and talked to Steve, he explained the entire process and gave me an estimated cost. The team arrived on time, took a detailed measurement and explained the actual cost of the installation. The job was done professionally, the crews were very courteous and helpful during the entire process.

They were great. It was about like $950 and this will be direct rebate of free taxes and through my electric company or gas, so, I did go to them and the things less expensive. They were really straightforward. They were good about the work that they would do and product they would use and how quick it would be. Everything would be exactly as what they have said.

Top-notch product and service every step of the way. The owner, Steve Reisman, provides a great product and is totally committed to doing a great job. Our house is 1304 square feet. There was an existing layer of R-19 insulation in our attic and another layer of R-19 was added to that resulting in an effective insulation of R-38. And now there's a noticeable reduction of cold air in our house....When my wife and I started doing our research, we were impressed by the amount of positive reviews on both Angie's List and Yelp. And Steve proved why. He was easily accessible by phone and gave a quote from the pictures I emailed of $860 which included $50 off as an Angie's List member and about a $200 rebate from the gas company. He said other companies might have suggested removing the existing insulation so they could charge more but that what we had would work for the bottom layer to reduce our cost. His crew of Steve and Rafael showed out right on time, took care not to cause any damage on our property and did a beautiful job of filling the attic with insulation. It looks great and works great. Steve explained how he got into the less accessible areas that had been missed before. And he also helped guide us to get the gas co. rebate....They were very professional, only took about an hour and a half and now we're much more comfortable. We used to freeze in the mornings.....We would strongly recommend Everguard. After anyone talks with Steve (you can hear the commitment in his voice) and gets a quote, it's hard to imagine they'll go anywhere else.
