We have already noticed the difference in how heat is conducted from the roof into the house. It is staying much cooler. I am looking forward to seeing how it holds in the heat when we finally get some cold weather. I would highly recommend this company!

Company called the day before to ensure any loose ends were ready to go. Technicians arrived on time and completed the job professionally. One minor detail was missed - no date on the invoice so I had to call them back for a copy that was rebate compliant. That was handled well. Thanks!

I called Everguard on a weekend, and the co-owner, Cynthia picked up immediately. She talked me through everything, providing advice on how to build a elevated frame for attic storage. The crew showed up at the appointed time—well, an hour late due to LA traffic—and took care of everything in less than two hours. They were able to work with my shared driveway and dogs, and gladly added work in an adjacent attic that I hadn't mentioned to Cynthia. The receipt clearly showed how to apply for a rebate from socalgas, and also the expected tax refund I would receive. I was surprised at how much soundproofing the insulation provided, and how cozy the house felt. I was so happy, in fact, that I called the company back to insulate a portion of the house above my kitchen and a guest room, and to inject insulation in to another bedroom ceiling with no attic. The gentlemen who showed up for this job were also very professional and also got the job done quickly. One minor glitch with the shared driveway was that the second crew said they'd need to charge a fee if they had to move the truck to let a neighbor leave. The first crew didn't say anything about this. All told, I will definitely work with Everguard in the future, and heartily recommend them to anyone in the north-LA area.

It went great. I got a quote over the phone based on my square footage estimate and we scheduled the job for a few days later. They showed up exactly on time, walked through the project with me and took measurements. They calculated fewer square feet than I had and adjusted their quote downwards. They were quick, efficient and neat. They patched the holes they drilled in my stucco to match the texture very well. They showed me pictures of the insulation they blew into the attic because I did not want to climb up there to see for myself. The house now maintains a very comfortable and consistent temperature. We have hardly used the heat or a/c during all the recent weather changes. I think this is going to pay for itself pretty quickly.

They should up with an inspection on the spot and took their time to make sure they could get the difficult areas where the roof line came close to the attic floor. They quoted me on the spot along with a quote for what I would get back from local energy saving credit for my local heating and cooling company. They only took about two and even did it while my baby was sleeping.

Very good experience. Everguard loaded my ceiling with insulation and unfortunately had to make quite a few holes to do so. Very good communication and they worked a little on the price with me. What a difference- house sits between 70-76 pretty much all the time now.

Can't say enough great things - from the woman who took my initial call and patiently answered all of my questions about blowing in insulation (and I had a TON), to the crew who was so fantastic - friendly, customer service oriented, paid attention to all of my concerns, walked me through the rebate process and cleaned up perfectly. Very well! They were professional and prompt, arriving even a little early (though they made it clear I was under no obligation to start the job early. As it turned out I could and was happy they checked). To do only these 2 walls took just under 2 hours and was only $650. The house is now MUCH cooler (and quieter as it also insulates outside noise) and both my wife and I wish we did it years ago when we first moved in! Furthermore, we found out that we were eligible for about a $50 gas company rebate and $50 tax rebate so the out-of-pocket was only $550.

Roy and his team insulated our exterior walls and attic. They showed up on time, and were very professional. They also did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. Our house feels noticeably cooler-wish we had done this sooner. If you need insulation, Everguard Home Insulation is the company we highly recommend.

These guys were great. Had an appointment for Friday afternoon, but they had trouble with their truck. The office called me and asked if they could reschedule for Sunday morning, which was fine with me. The guys were there on time (9am) and very nice and friendly. Explained everything to me, then began the job. They were quick and efficient, took about an hour. At the end, showed me what they had done and allowed me the chance to ask questions. Went over the bill with me (I had prepaid, but my attic was larger than the special so there was an additional charge which I already knew about) and explained the rebates available. Again, these guys were fantastic and would go with them again for any needs I had.

Summary: Two enthusiastic thumbs up! No surprises & great prices! Showed up on time and these people know what the term customer service means! Our house was built in the 50’s, and I was not aware that they did not insulate exterior walls in those days. I was aware that there was a ten-degree difference in temperature between our hallway and the master bedroom. I searched Yelp and decided to contact Everguard, based on their excellent reviews. They were informative, and priced right. I knew about how much it was going to cost before they even arrived. They scheduled my job relatively quickly considering it is peak season. The crew called when they were leaving, showed up within the schedules time and were friendly and efficient. They told me exactly what they were doing, and why. They added insulation to the attic, bringing it up to R-38. Their insulation has boric acid in it, which deters pest and rodents. Also, they spray a mist of water on top of it which hardens a thin layer on top - preventing insulation from flying around in the attic. This is particularly useful for me since I plan to add a whole-house fan, which is in the attic. Next, they drilled holes in the exterior stucco of my master bedroom wall, and added insulation. They patched the holes and asked if I was going to paint or have a contractor do it. I told them I was going to do it & they instructed me how to touch up the patch and left some samples of the paint so I could match it if I could not find the right paint in the garage. They cleaned up as best they could, and my cleanup was minimal and quick. The RESULTS were better than expected. There is now NO DIFFERENCE between the temperature of the hallway and that of the master bedroom, even in the late afternoon or evening! Since our electric bill last month was $300., I think this will pay for itself in less than a year. They provided a cash discount of 5%, and we always look for the very best price so I paid them in cash. They provided the paperwork and instructions for rebates and tax credits. I am quite particular on contractors, and I would enthusiastically recommend using Everguard! No middleman means no commissions to pay! You may have to send them some photos and do a little measuring, but that effort will save you several hundred dollars!

Everguard was recommended by friends. I called twice with questions and the owner was helpful and generous with his time even tho I was not ready for the work since other repairs were in progress. When the house was ready for insulation, I choose the R-38 blown cellulose product. Staff came on time, got down to work quickly and completed their tasks; it was completely painless. They also assisted me in submitting a rebate request.

Two workers arrived around 2:45 to start the job (Steven and Anthony). Anthony set up the equipment while Steven went into the attic and assed the square footage. He validated the quote I received over the phone. Steven donned his equipment and went back into the attic to start the process. As the homeowner, I got into the attic with him and watched as he sprayed the insulation. I was impressed with the speed of his work and how thorough he was in ensuring the amount of product sprayed was consistent across the attic. After a breakdown in the equipment and the subsequent repair, Steven resumed spraying the insulation. The time required to complete the job from start to finish was about three hours (this included the repair time). I am very satisfied with the work performed and the professionalism of Steven and Anthony. I will recommend this team to friends and family.

When I first spoke to Steve (the company owner) I was very impressed with his willingness to share information about installing insulation. Even though he has probably explained the process tens of thousands of times, he was very patient and thorough. He provided the name of the company that manufactures the cellulose material which I checked out to my satisfaction on the web. I did get a couple of other estimates which were unacceptable for one reason or another. As they say you get what you pay for and Angie's list was right on regarding the companies I contacted. The night before the job was to start the Everguard office called me to confirm the techs would be at my house within a specified 2-hour time window. The Everguard techs arrived right on schedule after confirming their arrival time by phone call an hour earlier. They confirmed the size of the job and went to work. They began by installing the fiberglass batts on the vertical walls in the attic and then proceeded with the blown-in cellulose part of the job. They were neat and clean and did not damage anything in or around the house. The entire job was completed in about 2 hours. They vacuumed the work area around their ladder and carefully looked around for and vacuumed any stray bits of insulation where they had walked in the house. Finally they swept and hosed off the area of the driveway where their equipment was parked. I was impressed that they made sure the sizable volume of product wrappers were placed in to our recycling container. Before they left I took a look at the job and found that the blown-in insulation had been installed neatly and was very level. The batts on the vertical knee walls were neatly installed also. They also instructed me how to obtain the applicable rebates and how to make sure subsequent workers in the attic don't adversely affect the insulation. When we are ready for in-wall insulation to be installed, I will be calling Everguard again. I strongly recommend Everguard for insulation.

I am very happy with the way that insulation was provided to every area of the house that had an exterior wall or attic space with the "blow in" type of cellulose insulation. I felt that the service professionals who did the job for my home really went out of their way to provide a great service and it is also great that I will now get a rebate from the Gas Company for insulating my home, which previously had zero insulation. I would recommend this company and their service to neighbors.

GREAT experience! I called Everguard on New Years Eve expecting to just leave a message, and they answered! I told them we had just installed a whole new HVAC system the week before and needed to insulate our attic for the first time. Our home was built in the 1950's. They put us on the schedule for the very next working day, which was Jan 2nd. Two crew members came, on time, and were very knowledgeable. We have recessed lighting in several rooms, some of them were installed a few years back and are not LED. They advised us to get LED bulbs for the older recessed lights (which we did when they left). The overall process was fast, under 2 hours. They bring the hose in the front door and take it into the attic and get to work. With our new furnace and now with the insulation in the attic, we are so warm. The furnace kicks in and gets to the set temperature on the thermostat, and then cuts off and stays off for hours and our home stays warm. Saving us lots of $$$. We are very pleased with Everguard Insulation.

Start to finish, a wonderful experience. Not only did Everguard have the best price, they were extremely helpful and responsive. They have excellent information available on their website and were able to answer all of my questions in an initial phone call. Their employees were friendly and knowledgable. The day of the installation they arrived early, after calling to confirm my availability, and completed the job in very short order. At each step of the installation I was advised of issues they encountered, presented with options, and asked for my preferred approach in solving them (specifically regarding recessed lighting that could not be covered when using incandescent bulbs). Cleanup was thorough.

From the first phone call to the workers leaving the house everything went off without any problems. They were able to schedule us within two weeks from first contact and work with our busy schedule. The installers were very professional and kept everything very clean as they worked. They even offered to sweep up the very minor bits of insulation in the laundry room where the attic access point is located which was quite unnecessary. Excellent customer service and they even offered 5% discount because we paid cash and told us how to get the so-cal gas rebate.

I had a great experience with the Everguard company. From the first contact on the phone to the team coming out and doing the insulation work they were outstanding. They called and informed me of the time they would be arriving and came right on time. We did a walk around and they explained exactly what they were going to do (I had both the walls and the attic done). They worked hard and finished the job in 4 hours and made sure I was happy with the job and the cleanup. My air conditioning is running less and I hope to save money on electricity with the new insulation. I have already given out their contact information to friends who might have insulation work done.

Their utility truck comes with a gas powered insulation vacuum with a large and very long hose. The hose is probably 6" in diameter. The brought the house in through the front and through the living space and finally up through the attic access. The vacuumed all of the loose insulation as well as some miscellaneous debris from a recent roof replacement. The result was a clear space that is allowing me to continue with further home renovations at my leisure. The removal took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete.

From the first phone call until the truck drove away this was an exceptional experience. The ladies in the office, Cynthia and Marti, are so willing to help, even when they are asked questions that were probably dumb. They are the first point of contact a customer would have and they are perfect for the job. I knew that this job was going to go well just by talking with them. When Luis and Edgar arrived (a little early, which was fine by me) they went directly to work and did the job so quickly I was stunned. They, too, were very courteous and professional. They knew what they had to do, explained it to us and asked if we had questions. They answered all of our concerns and did their job quickly and efficiently. Thank you Everguard.
