We needed to have an architect to generate the plans for our kitchen and master bathroom. We needed that because we wanted to remove some walls in order to expand the spaces. Eran and his office staff worked fast and hard in order to generate them while the remodelers teams were able to execute them. The work included the approval process of the plans with the city.

Eran you are a great man. Talk about response time as if the guy was waiting on his computer. Lol! He responded very quick with emails and I can really appreciate the honesty. A business can always say they value their customers as this would be a true statement. I had some issues with another engineer (from another company that I hired) who I found to be unpleasant. This is for a project with already approved plans and difficult from the start. So I searched online for a second opinion for my house remodel project and was immediately impressed. Thank you Eran.

We wanted to remove a wall during our kitchen remodel, and Jackie provided the necessary engineering plans. He was very friendly and professional. The plans were completed promptly and, at least to my untrained eyes, appeared to be of high quality. Anyway, the house didn’t collapse so I guess he knows what he’s doing. Jackie also helpfully made himself available during construction when the contractor had a question about the plans - he showed up in person and talked the contractor through the issue. I was very happy with Jackie’s work and recommend him highly.

Had a great experience contacting David at ESL Designs. We were about to put an offer on a house, but the inspection report indicated that there could be potential foundation issues. I sent the home inspection to David, and he gave us great feedback that led us to passing on this house. He knows what he’s doing and is straight to the point. I recommend.

David helped me on my major home remodeling project a few months ago, which includes remodeling my kitchen and converting one bathroom into two by widening the bathroom from bedroom side. I would like to specifically mention that David brought up the brilliant idea to convert my only bathroom into two (nobody brought it up before). This helped my three bedrooms unit become more functional and increased my home value too. Besides the bathroom, David recommended removing the wall between kitchen and living room to create an open space. I loved the design but was worried about if the wall beard load so the cost can be dramatic. David checked my original home plans in the city, double confirmed with his structural engineer consultant and confirmed that the witch walls were not structural and which were structural. We did not touch the load bearer and we didn’t need structural calculation. This saved me $5000+ from hiring a structural engineer. We got the building permit pretty fast and the city plan reviewer loved our documents! My home just finished the construction and everything is working as expected (and looks amazingly nice!). I am very satisfied with David’s service and excited about my new home!

We are extremely happy with our decision to hire ESL Designs to generate the plans for our upcoming remodeling project at our house. We needed to have a full remodeling that included an addition at the back of the house. ESL was recommended to us by one of the contractors that we met before deciding who will do the actual remodeling. The work was done pretty fast, by a very professional team of people at the company and we are happy to recommend them to others how are looking to hire a company for construction plans.

We did a lot of work in our 1980s home and Guliano and his team were awesome. During the work, they ran into several challenges but there was give and take and we made it happen. We really love what they did at our home and they did everything they could to keep us happy and satisfied from the work while Guliano made us feel that this project is like for his own home. Very professional team, while we can’t recommend them more.

It’s perhaps one of the few firms you can fully count on in Los Angeles Area. I got introduced by a friend to ESL Designs for a kitchen and bathroom remodel of my home. I wanted to replace the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and kitchen countertops. Since we did not require extensive structural changes, Eran ESL Designs said that we would require a simple architecture plan getting all the changes we needed to be done. They sent an architect to map out the current conditions of our house. They then prepared an architecture plan showing all the changes we wanted. The architect was very patient as we took our time to go through the plans and he also recommended which complemented the way we wanted to remodel our home. They finished the plans within two weeks and overall, it was a very satisfactory process. We are very pleased to go to ESL Designs. We will definitely work with them if we need any engineering work in the future!

ESL Designs was extremely helpful throughout our renovation process. Eran was timely and professional and always available throughout renovation. ESL Designs included providing blueprints and construction drawings, making renovation recommendations, obtaining city building permits, and assistance with passing all inspections by the city. On numerous occasions, I required him to speak w/ city and provide engineering letters and calculations to the city inspector. Eran was always available and responded promptly. He genuinely cares about his customers and the outcomes of their projects. I highly recommend his services and will definitely contact him if I ever need structural engineering services again.

Eran and his team at ESL Designs are wonderful. They helped me revise my plan for my remodel quickly and even helped me with the City Permit Center, going with me to talk to the reviewer and made certain that they had all their questions answered to immediately approve the permit for me. It was remarkably nice to have Eran, who has experience handling with the Permit Center, helping to avoid having to go back and forth with the city. He saved me so much time and was extremely economical.

We have a complicated situation that COVID made even more difficult to assess. After talking with Eran, we were able to wrap what we can do next. We highly recommending ESL Designs for a virtual consultation because we believe that COVID will not go away soon. While our home is definitely everything for us, we didn’t was to risk it and cause any permanent damage by hiring someone not professional. ESL Designs proved to have a well trained engineers who knows very well their work.
