Tim from Efficiency Air Inc. came out promptly and he listened to what we wanted,explained the differences in units, gave us an estimate, was very professional, very friendly and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of help with a heater or air conditioning. The workers that came out were just as informative friendly and reliable. They are great.

I rarely write reviews but I think people should know about Tim and his crew. Not only is he an expert in this business, he also has a big heart. I purchased a new furnace for my 95 year-old parents. He made the time from his busy schedule to squeeze in the installation the next day. He wanted to make sure my parents would have a safe working furnace. He was present during the installation to make sure everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend Tim to anyone who needs his services.

After deciding to replace our 110 year old gravity heaters, we contacted Efficiency Air and another installation service (which most of my neighbors had used) to ask for bids. Tim Murphy responded the day that I called and set up an appointment to measure our house and discuss options the following day. He came on the dot and spent a good 30 minutes explaining our options before he took measurements to determine what would be needed. He promised to have a proposal to us that night. We were extremely impressed with everything he had to say. He followed through with a proposal that evening and my husband and I decided that we would cancel the other appointment that we had for a bid because we were so convinced that we wanted Tim and his crew to do the job. Indeed, he appeared a week later with his crew and they set about doing an extensive amount of work and completed the job in just a day and a half. His crew was polite, careful to clean up all areas that they worked in, and they didn't waste a minute. We couldn't have been more pleased. We did have a small issue with the noise of the blower and contacted Tim about this a few days later. He was at our door two days later with his crew and made the necessary adjustment without hesitation. Based on our experience with Efficiency Air, we would recommend this business to anyone who wants the work done right at a very fair price. If only all businesses were run so well!

Tim M. also installed and ECOBEE thermostat along with the HVAC unit and was absolutely efficient and excellent. He did everything he said he would which began with the estimate. He had to pre-measure, the timing, the cleanliness, and everything. I really cant say enough how easy he made it and I highly recommend him for commercial and residential business

My experience with Tim from Efficiency Air was fabulous from the first day that I met him. He was friendly, professional, and after talking with him for several minutes it became clear that he was quite familiar and knowledgeable with HVAC systems. Being that he had a background in mechanical engineering was a big plus. The first thing that he wanted to do before answering our questions was to educate us on the different systems available and how they work. I was impressed by that approach. Our gas furnace was situated in a closet in the center of our house. Since we didn't a want a gas furnace in the house (actually it was my wife that didn't want the gas furnace) we decided on a heat pump condenser which was the best choice for us. It would be installed outside and the air handler, which moves the air, would be installed in our attic. The now empty closet would be converted in to a pantry at a future date. Tim went over the pros and cons of a gas furnace and heat pump. Based on his summation of the pros and cons we decided that the heat pump was the way to go for us. The following day I got his proposal and cost for our system. It was reasonable and I believe a fair price considering the extra cost for new ducting and putting the air handler in the attic. The new ducting made a huge difference. I knew that I would be hiring Tim after he left our home. It was just a gut feeling based on the way he treated us, educated us, being patient with our questions and his superb knowledge of HVAC systems. I made an appointment to have our new system installed one week later. He arrived at the scheduled date early and his crew arrived a few minutes later. Tim told me that he has a habit of arriving early on all his jobs. That also impressed me. There were five guys on site including Tim and they were well organized and got to work immediately. Tim supervised the entire installation. He only left 3-4 times during the day to get parts and meet a customer. They laid out padding to protect our floors and were very careful when working inside our home. His crew were very nice and they worked very hard. I didn't ask many questions but they didn't seem to be bothered when I did asked them a question or two. Tim took his time and explained what was being done. Not only did his crew remove the old furnace from the closet but they cleaned it thoroughly, vacuumed, and cut out all the old ducting, gas line, air vents, etc. and covered the holes that remained. They also did a beautiful job in putting the air handler in the attic. They had to cut an opening in our master bath area to get the air handler in. The opening was finished very nicely. They also had to cut a hole for a new return air filter grill. It was finished beautifully. Tim and his crew completed the work in one day. They cleaned up everything, vacuumed the stairs, the hallway, and the garage where they had staged a work area. I am so very impressed with the work that Tim and his crew did for us. They certainly made every effort to make sure that everything was installed exactly and to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Efficiency Air to anyone that is considering a new HVAC system. Efficiency Air exceeded my expectations for a job that was exceptionally well done. My wife and I are very happy with our new system. As promised by Tim, we now have exceptional airflow, great heating and air conditioning. Prior to our new system, we basically had nonexistent heat/air in our master bedroom and bathrooms. We now have very comfortable heat/air in these rooms. Tim was easy to talk to. It was like conversing with a good friend. Obviously, Efficiency Air is in the business to make money but, they also educate customers, give them a fair price while satisfying their needs and making them happy with the results. I will definitely recommend Efficiency Air to all my friends and family.

Its too soon to tell if the equipment works in the long run, but my experience with Tim and Efficiency Air was very good. I got 4 bids for installing and up-dating the AC system my house in Ventura County, and this was not only the best bid, but there were no surprises, always on cost and schedule. My hats off to them!

Our experience with Efficiency Air, Inc. was excellent! Beginning with the consultation with Tim where he pointed out work that no other company picked up on. The final cost was no more than the other quotes we received for less work. Tim showed up with his team as promised on time as scheduled. The execution of the scope of work given to us did not change, and the installation went seamlessly. The job was completed an hour and a half earlier than Tim proposed. The team left everything the way it was found, and they cleaned up after themeslves. They prepped the areas where they were working so well, that virtually no mess was even made. The entire team was courteous and professional from start to finish. We are very pleased and highly recommend Efficiency Air, Inc.

Tim was one of five companies that I called to give me an estimate. He explained everything so well and in a way that I could understand. I told my wife that we were most likely going to go with Efficiency Air, Inc. before we even received the estimate the next day. Knowing we were without AC for several weeks, they were there within the week and as scheduled. Tim was even early arriving. They removed and replaced the deck in the garage, Furnace unit, hot water heater and the outside AC Condensor unit. As I was told, it was completed in one day, they did such a great job at keeping the garage and backyard clean during and after the job was finished. The crew was not only great at their work, they were also very polite and did not seem to mind me asking questions. I would recommend Efficiency Air, Inc., Tim and his crew to anyone that needs repairs or replacements.

Everything went great, they were quick, they answered all my questions and they did what they said they were going to do on time and on budget.

Tim took the right amount of time to explain and discuss our needs. Very thorough and complete in the proposal and in line with our other quotes but felt like it was the best prepared and most complete. Crew was professional and efficient and Tim stopped by a couple of times to check their progress. Really pleased with the project and efficiency air is highly recommended.

He was not trying to oversell me, only what I needed and what I wanted at a reasonable price. They cleaned up right after they got the job done.

I have a contractor who lives next door who watched our old rooftop AC get removed and the new one installed by Efficiency Air. He said it was a very professional job. I can add that the initial consultation was quick and accurate, the work done very promptly and the price outstanding. We'll call them again when it's time for additional HVAC needs.

Tim was very detailed and thorough with all his details regarding all aspects of installing the AC system. I knew what I was buying and how my money was being sent which is great. Efficiency Air was spot on with ETA for finishing the job. The workers were very impressive on how productive and flawless they did this job. I got 3 quotes and at of all 3 Tim was the most honest and educational about buying an AC unit wasn t trying to sell me but educate me. I m glad I went with this company and I would refer them all day long.

Every one arrived on time. Tim explained everything to us. Excellent service from all. stayed longer to install a new wire that was damaged by mice chewing on it.A/C and heating just perfect. The crew came when scheduled and were courtesy and helpful. The site was cleaned up before they left.

Very good company but expensive . Tim and his workers were on time and their work was efficiently and neatly done in one day. A suggestion: since this is a very expensive item, the company should at least give a few years supply of filters for the heating system.
