Ari and his team were great!! Ari was the first to call back when I listed a need on Angi. He was obviously experienced and knew exactly what needed to be done. We had multiple projects.. his team was always on time, worked efficiently and were tidy. They repaired damaged wood, fixed and repainted the ceiling in two places, repainted the outside house trim, sealed cracked areas and even hung up a mirror. Definitely would recommend to others!

I used Ari and his team to do multiple projects around my house, including patio cover painting and repair, ceiling drywall texturing and repainting, mold abatement, repainting outside gates, fascia board repair and repainting, kitchen cabinet repair, and shower enclosure replacement. Ari is a perfectionist and makes sure his clients needs are fully met. His crews are neat, and the work areas are fully cleaned up before they leave. I would not hesitate to hire Ari for any repairs around your house.

WATERPROOFING BEACH HOUSE WALL Water in the soil of a long and deep planter adjoining house wall caused mold on a section of interior masonry. Previously, another contractor had installed a drain and a shallow cement topping, but it did not work. With heavy rains (2/2023), mold had returned. J-G Handyman's approach involved significant waterproofing -- removing six feet of soil, laying a wall-blanket, sealing walls, replacing soil and drain pipe, cementing top, and a final top-sealing. Inside, masonry was treated and painted. J-G Handyman's fee stayed true to the proposal estimate range, work was completed on time, and the contractor was accessible throughout. I plan to use J-Handyman for other projects. NOTE: Will provide an update, when heavy rains return.

Expedient But Pricey

1st one to call back. Came very quickly picked up the blinds and installed them. So easy!!

Ari and his crew re-grouted and sealed both my bathrooms and changed a pocket door to be a regular door. I am very pleased with the scheduling and the work completed. I can not really speak to the value for money as I did not seek other quotes.

I called for Handyman to put up some pictures on my wall. I have hired handyman to do this several times in the past. They showed up and they did not have the right nails to do it and so they had to go collect them, which took about 20 minutes . I did not understand why they did not have materials to do it in the first place. They returned and started the project. They were at my house for a couple hours total which seems like a very long time to put up for five pictures. Everything was done fine but it was also very pricey.

Ari came to my house and I gave him my to do list. One item was a priority and we set up a date and time one week in advance. The appointment was set for 11:00. When he no showed I called and he told me he was running late on another project and would be there between 12:30-1:00. He nevered showed up and that evening I texted him to find out what happened. He texted me back that the job was too small and nit worth his time. I even asked him for the estimates on the other items. Never got them. When he met me the first meeting to go over what work I needed he so he could handle all the work with no problems. This guy talks a good game tho.

I hired Ari and his team to replace the cabinet doors in my laundry room. Very pleased with the work and how the new doors look. They cleaned up and took the old doors away.

Ari and team did several things around the house from installing flooring, recessed lighting and even repairing termite damage and did a great job all around. Only feedback was in the clean up of all tasks where, not everything was cleaned after finished and quite a bit of trash was left behind.

I hired Ari to remodel my bathroom. He has a very professional crew. I am very pleased with the way my bathroom turned out. I will definitely hire J&G for future projects.

I hired Ori to replace some baseboards & repair & paint our stair rail. He is very personal & responded immediately. The work was done beautifully and within the time frame he indicated. He has several really professional crews to tackle most jobs. We will ask Ori to convert our bar to a pantry and caulk & seal the beams in our cathedral ceilings soon. I recommend him without reservation.

Did work quickly and efficiently. Hired for small project of termite repairs. Ended up also hiring him to repaint house trim. Good honest job at a reasonable price.

Pros: Very fast initial response and overall project time, Quality work and materials Great color ideas for rooms / projects, Very qualified team with a specialized person for each type of work, Definitely a good value for the money invested. Cons: I think maybe too many other projects were ongoing at one time. While fast, a few corners were cut. Simple corrections were skipped: I reminded of a few things that needed to be done, that would have been easier to have done at the time, instead of them going back to it. Areas that could have easily been closed off were left open resulting in a lot of dust. I had to do some of the finishing myself such as switch and plug wall plates, screws. Part of the kitchen ceiling was missed: it is all white, but you can see if you look. Overall: I would hire J and G again. Ari and his team are very good. I would prefer to have a more clearly typed, detailed job list with itemized pricing. The hand-written, carbon copy is a little hard to read a couple weeks into the project, and sometimes a bit vague. One persons idea of painting a room is different than another. I know now that I would ask ahead about painting the ceilings (which were done by request). Better communication was needed about arrival times, and a missed couple of days. My schedule was flexible, but I felt that Ari did not always know where his team was. I already have projects in the planning stages that I will call on them to do.

I hired Uri for a small project, replaced door thresholds. Work was done on time, professional and better than expected. I was so impressed at work and responsiveness that I hired him for additional services such as painting house trim, repairing termite damage and painting outdoor patio, and installation of laminate flooring. I am extremely happy with all work performed by J&G Handyman services

Terrible experience! I was quoted a price for a repair of my attic access. They came and asked if I had a work light for them!!! Then they stated that the part needed repair and I should order it if I could find it. They then placed two window locks to keep the ladder access shut. It took all of 15 minutes. They then charged the price quoted for complete repair of the access. I have never been so upset ever!! Very unprofessional service.... do not hire them.

Ari exceeded our expectations. We had a sagging hardwood floor due to shoddy work in the crawl space from a previous owner. Ari's men poured concrete, installed pillars and used crossbeams to not only prop up the floor, but were able to raise the floor without cracking the hardwoods and tile. They did all of this in one day in a very tight crawl space on a hot day. They were on time, clean, respectful and efficient. The price was extremely fair. We couldn't recommend J&G more.

We had J&G out to install some complicated modern house numbers. Julio did the service for us and did an amazing job. These 8" tall numbers are perfectly aligned and look amazing. Julio was friendly and knowledgeable, we would definitely hire him again.

Did most things well. Dug up the wrong plants. Did not straighten all the poles. Did not remove all trash. Poor attention to detail.Very expensive. $945 for two people for about 1 hour plus one going to the dump and dump fees.

Ari and Hillel explained clearly what the original job would entail and then made sure that the plumbing and fixtures would support our goals for the bathroom. Naturally, this resulted in our adjusting our original plan, but the pricing was fair. The work was done quickly and well --as was the clean up.
