CLEAN DRY CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

We decided not to go with Clean Dry's service because of the price. But I'm writing this report to warn people of the deceptive and aggressive manner this company operates. When we asked the technicians to leave they offered to lower the price for the job. By this point, it had become clear that "the price" was random and a far cry from what was advertised in the mailings. We became more insistent that they leave the house, but ultimately, we needed to physcially carry their hose out of the house so they would leave. They then proceeded to call my phone over and over again, threatening me with a travel charge if I didn't agree to let them do the job. Their ad says they're members of the BBB but a quick check shows the company is not a member at all but there are several complaints about the company. DO NOT USE this company.

Got great response on phone, easy scheduling. Three guys showed up on time and nice and professional. This is for a home just purchased and still empty. Gave an estimate on the air duct cleaning which turned out to be more expensive than the ad suggested it would be, but they seemed to do a thorough job. The carpet cleaning was also a lot more expensive than expected, but I got the whole carpet preconditioning, etc, work. They didn't have to move furniture or do anything special. They found and showed me a single flea in one of the rooms, so it cost another $349 to treat for fleas which is a lot. The real problem was after waiting for things to dry up, I found a lot of the powdered treatment still on the edge of all the stair steps and in 2 of the rooms. The head guy said that he was a subcontractor for Clean Dry USA servicing my area. I guess if you live in other parts of LA then you might get a different experience. Overall, not a bad experience but I think I could have gotten a better deal with a different company. I just needed it done fast and they were available.
