The countertop was nicely installed a week after David came for an estimate and measurement. The backslash tiles were done the next week. Cleancut is the best contractor we ever had among various house projects over the years. Good quality and also very efficient. David is very responsive and took care of any concerns we had. His workers are also very professional. We would definitely recommend Cleancut to our friends. ~ Jim & Janie

David and crew responded to our request quickly and made every effort to make sure we got what we wanted. David was accessible and came by the house to meet with us and make sure the job went according to plan. The entire process took less than a week, including initial meeting, measuring, installation and followup. The crew was professional and easy to work with. They made spacial accommodations to make sure we got what we needed. I would absolutely recommend this business to a friend.

David was fantastic to work with. He came out the day after I called him and gave us a fast estimate. He went with us to the stone yard and advised on selecting a stone that would work for our kitchen and our lifestyle. Two weeks later, the countertops were in. Unfortunately, the marble had a slight stain on it, but David came back to our house repeatedly to remove it and kept at it until it was perfect. The counters look absolutely beautiful. Amazing job!

David's bid was the most competitive of the three we obtained from the top Angie's List providers. He was very honest in expressing his opinion about our various material options, and was quite helpful in guiding us in terms of the edge profile we chose, the sink mounting, and even the best way to frame the windowsill. David came out once the cabinets were in and took final detailed measurements. We put down a deposit of about 50% for the material, and chose a beautiful Caesarstone (Dreamy Marfil). His crew arrived on time and they were top notch. They were incredibly professional and quite clean. They even worked well with our four dogs! As they cut the countertop material, they were especially careful to control the amount of dust, as we have a 2 year old daughter who certainly doesn't need to inhale the stuff. They vacuumed up after themselves, and actually left the site looking cleaner than when they arrived. Our kitchen is absolutely stunning and we can't wait to host our first dinner party. And when our guests ask who did our countertops, I will proudly recommend David and his countertop business.

We found Clean Cut on Angie's list and in the end were ecstatic with the work they did. The material we used was quartzite which I'm told is harder than granite and more difficult to fabricate. They did a fabulous job at an excellent price and they were on time throughout. David even came up with a better looking edge design than we had proposed and a creative way of waterproofing the marine plywood undermount. He has our very strong recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

I had decided on an engineered stone countertop for my bathroom vanity, but I was afraid that I wouldn?t be able to find a fabricator willing to do such a ?small? job. Luckily, I found David on Angie's List. He was eager to provide service, and did a fantastic job. He was prompt, professional, easy to work with and delivered exactly what he promised. He was also flexible, and willing to work around our busy schedules. Best of all, the countertop is exactly what I wanted. He chose the half slab for me after I told him what style and color I wanted. The countertop looks beautiful, and it?s perfectly installed. I recommend him 100%!

We've just wrapped up a comprehensive remodel of our home. Over the course of 4 months we had many contractors, sub-contractors and bids for work. Only a few stand out and David at Clean Cut Stone is one of them. We secured several bids for our countertops and David was not the least expensive but based on his good reviews, and based on having very bad countertop experiences with other "discounted" companies in the past we decided to work with him. What can I say? He's responsive. Insightful on countertops. Prompt with his appointments. His workers are unfailingly polite and are very detail oriented. And did I mention how fast he is? I don't know if it's the usual experience but David took the counter template on a Monday and Wednesday he installed it. Yes, a record three days from start to finish. And it's a big kitchen. Of the probably 25+ contractors who worked on this project on and off I would not hesitate to work with David and his crew again. Their attention to detail shows and they are clearly doing something right. I was exceedingly impressed by their work. If I could give him A+ or AAA ratings I would!

The stone is Quartzite and is harder than granite. I was worried that it would crack and be expensive to replace. David assured me he does this all the time. His guys came in and performed the service in 15 minutes, using a vacuum cleaner to suck in all the stone dust right as they were drilling. Simple. Easy. Would recommend and use again.

The whole process was a great experience. From the time we met David to the end of the work. The workers came to demo our countertops and were done within 3 hours. They were very clean, cleaning all the remaining dust from the tile dust and shards of sharp tile. The Ceasar Stone arrived in 2 days and we couldn't be happier. Again, the workers were prompt and clean and we've had no issues with the counter top. Not only did they install the counter top and sink, they made us a cutting board with some extra stone and we had an extra space behind our stove that need covering and they used the extra stone to put it behind it. This piece measured 9 in X 4 ft. and it wasn't on the original estimate and they through it in for free. I don't have one complaint with this company or its workers and would definitely use them again when needed.
Description of Work: We had new countertops installed and a new sink. David met with us and showed us all the products we could use for our new counter tops. He was never late and always called to confirm. He measured and sent an estimate/invoice within 24 hours and started the demo within 3 days. This was over the New Year holiday and still was on time!!!!!!!!

All too often, you'll meet with a company rep who promises a lot, but ends up delivering very little. I'm pleased to say that CLEAN CUT STONE delivered all they promised. David Azai arrived at the scheduled time to scope out the job and give me a bid on two sections of counter. He was able to price the job before he even left, and seemed to welcome the fact that I'm very hard to please. The work was done quickly and beautifully, and after it was done, I discovered a tiny chip in the marble. One phone call, and it was repaired. I plan on using them for my rental house remodel in the near future.

It went very smoothly. We had several delays because of other subcontractors and David at Clean Cut Stone always rolled with the delays and was very understanding. I think of David as an artist - he is very gifted at seeing what is possible in a stone and laying it out in a way that makes the countertops what they should be... art. The edges and sides are particularly well finished. The only thing that was a disappointment is that we had to make a seam in a place I wasn't expecting - but that was due to us not talking it through with the slab company. I think that's something I would advise a customer to spend time really thinking about and talking out before they buy slabs - just to make sure they are buying enough or that they know what to expect when a stone is cut. It won't ever look perfect - no matter how good the installer is. Despite that, we are very happy with our countertops and certainly very happy with the services performed.

David Azai was great to work with. He came to give an estimate promptly and took measurements and brought samples of different types of granite for us to choose from. When his two installers arrived in the morning, they immediately got to work and demolished the ugly white tile with some ducks painted (!) and installed the new granite. They did a very good job, but when I saw two issues from the installation, David was quick to respond. We talked on the phone about the gap beneath the granite on the shelf and he gave some very helpful advice. Then when my husband and I noticed some damage to the drywall beneath the countertop, David came right over in the morning and totally fixed it with his caulking gun. We are absolutely loving this new countertop and I supply some before and after pictures below. Thank you Clean Cut Stone and David for some fine work.

Clean Cut Stone provided outstanding service and excellent workmanship. From start to finish, David and his team made the experience easy and smooth. We were given a number of options for our space that included alternatives to natural granite, such as Caesar Stone, Silestone, etc. David kindly gave us the pros/cons of each. While we made our decision to use natural granite, David and CCS are also experienced in these other alternatives. David was punctual, showing up on time at each appointment. He was responsive by telephone, email, and provided a clear written work order with no hidden surprises. The project was completed at the agreed upon amount; there was no slippage. We would definitely use David and Clean Cut Stone again; we have already recommended him to several personal friends. The work was completed onetime with exceptional results. Edges were aligned and counters level. The stone was in perfect shape. We were given a number of options for granite selection, but not required to purchase through Clean Cut. In fact, we purchased from another recommended supplier. The very next day, Clean Cut had picked up the material and began the fabrication process. Installation went smoothly with the team arriving as planned. It was competed in a day as promised without ever feeling like the job was being rushed. David was available throughout the day and providing oversight of his installation team. He followed to determine if we had any issues, which we did not. For those looking for a professional company dedicated to both service and quality, I would highly recommend Clean Cut Stone. Based on our experience, you won't be disappointed. Note: The cost noted was for demolition of existing counter tops, fabrication and installation of granite, and removal of all debris. The amounted cited in the review does not include a separate cost for the granite -- the type of material can range considerably.

I called David to enlarge some existing holes in a marble tub platform for new fixtures. David said the size I needed was not standard but he could make it work. A crew with three guys came over and they were done in 30 minutes. They took care to make sure the holes were correct for the new hardware. One guys job was to direct a vacuum cleaner as the holes were being drilled so there was no dust. A well done job. Thank you David.

First off David provided a detailed estimate of the work to be performed. He asked a lot of questions and was the most thorough contractor during the estimation process. This differed from some other bids which were simply "eye-balled". The finish product looks fantastic. The counters are smooth, level with tight seams. My only feedback for consideration is as follows: 1) David is super nice. Be clear with your needs and he will do everything he can to ensure a good job. Be kind to him as he is a nice person who genuinely wants to do good work. 2) There was some damage done during the demo process. Keep an eye on the crew as they tear out your old kitchen. Ensure your floors are well padded/protected as the dust/grit from tile removal is significant. 3) Technical, Caeserstone should not be polished after installation. If your Caeserstone is polished, your Caeserstone warranty could be voided. If you counter installer polishes your Caeserstone, make sure they warrant their work. 4) Project Sign-off: David will ask you to sign off on the work as soon as his team completes the job. In our case, this took place last at night. Do not sign any documents until you can fully inspect the work in the light of day. We noticed some areas that needed additional work only later. Ultimately the work was corrected. Net, with the above in mind, I highly recommend David and his team. You will love your new kitchen!

I called David to look at some cracks in our granite to see if it could be fixed and also was curious how much replacing the counters with cesarstone would be. David spent about 45 minutes at the house and indicated that due to the fact my crack had been fixed once and was growing on both sides of the sink it really wouldn't make sense to repair and I agreed. I would definately use David's team again as demo and reinstall of the new counters only took about 5 hours and the kitchen looks great.

Things started off great and only got better. David from Clean Cut Stone returned my first call promptly and came out to give me an estimate a couple of days later. I had really old tile counters and a ugly, beat up cast iron sink. David did thorough measurements and gave me an estimate on the spot. Later that day he sent me a proposal. I got a couple of other estimates and Clean Cut was in the same ball park. I really liked David. He showed me many pictures of other jobs they had completed and answered all my questions. His easy going personality makes you feel comfortable and there was no pressured sales pitch. When you do good work, it speaks for itself. I emailed him numerous times asking questions and he responded the same day to every inquiry. David came out to pick up the new sink template and at that time did another full measurement of the areas to be replaced. That really impressed me. At that point, I felt very confident that everything would fit perfectly. We set a date as soon as the counters were ordered. It took about a week to schedule installation. The morning of the installation, his crew arrived a little early and set to work. The carefully covered everything and moved my range with the greatest of care. They worked unbelievably fast. They demo'd and installed counter tops and full back splashes, completely cleaned up and replaced my range in about six hours. During that time, David stopped by several times to check on the progress. He made himself available for any questions or concerns. I absolutely love the counters! I will try to attach a couple of photos. I am very pleased with the color, which David helped me to select. I would definitely use Clean Cut Stone again and will recommend them. Just as a side note, when his crew arrived, they even helped me look for my cat that was hiding! They also gave me a piece from the sink cut out to use as a cutting board.

David lived up to my high expectations. I felt taken care of. He really listened to all my concerns and addressed all my specific needs, even the picky ones. Everything was handled with positivity and action. David went with me to several granite yards and negotiated a great deal. ( I compared his price to my own visits to 6 granite yards) He was on site or easily available by phone during the length of the project. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me so I could make informed decisions. He was attentive to all the details so that I could end up with an eye-catching kitchen. The crew was diligent and patient in responding to my " what about that?" They were always helpful and never left a mess behind. Lastly, David has integrity ! He was caught between me and "the contractor from h***". He could've bailed or let the contractor cheat us but, instead, he protected our interests and charged us fairly. I trust and respect this man and I can only say good things about the project and his professionalism.
