They cut the hole for the lights to big and didn't want to patch any of the holes up. They stated that the deal didn't include patching but since it was their mistake I didn't want to pay for the drywall specialist to fix it. They finally agreed to fix the drywall at no charge.

It went very well. They were very efficient.

The service was scheduled well in advance due to the popularity of the offer. I think we had to schedule about 4-5 weeks in advance. The work was done well and there were no additional charges other than the Big Deal offer.

Positive comments: The owner left a telephone message the next morning regarding my contact with Angie's List. Ron Adi arrived on time and provided a detailed printed estimate which was lower than the other referral. Scheduling the work went well as I am retired and there wasn't a 'due date'. On each of the work dates the Electricians were on time and conducted themselves in a professional manner. They protected the local area from plaster dust and cleaned up very well. The lead electrician discovered a source for the back bath outlet that didn't require any new holes. This saved making an access hole in the plaster and the need to plaster and paint. . Item #3 was initially spec'd as a standard outlet but then changed to a GFCI at no charge. I was always able to contact someone when required. Comments of concern: #1 above) The outside male socket was well discussed and understood at the time of the estimate, but the fixture the installer was supplied with was a standard female outlet. I had to contact the owner and emphasize that I didn't want to be handling an exposed 'hot' male plug from the generator. There seemed to be some confusion between 'their' supplier's ability to supply the proper input fixture. Although, I was able to locate several on the Amazon site. Each of the holes cut into the walls for the two house outlets required the extra large cover plates to cover the ragged edge of the cuts. Even though the two house outlets were 'spec'd' to have LED indicators, the ones installed didn't have them and had to be replaced. (It seems that the LED indicator only come on the GFCI outlets.) In conclusion, my concerns appear to be centered around the knowledge of the electrical supplies required for the job (as requested by the customer), there availability to get them from the supplier, and oversee the correct ones given to the installer.

That was good. There were just a couple of issues with the scheduling. We had it scheduled and I took the day off on Friday. He cancelled that the last moment. We were able to reschedule but obviously I lost a day. That kind of sucked. He gave me another service for free. The price was great.

It went well but but luckily I had most of the materials. The person at the office mentioned that they would have everything. The main thing that I wanted corrected was a ceiling fan. The electrician told me that I did not have a switch and remote control for it. Now, my fan is out of commission because I have to get the right switch and it gets hot in the San Fernando Valley. I bought the coupon that says 2 hours of labor for $89.00. The two guys were here for one hour and arrive about 1:36 and said they were finished at 2:24 p.m. So, it would be nice if they come back for another hour. ADI Electrical coupons special is misleading. It should read one hour for $89.00.

This was actually the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. The were on time, they were efficient, they were friendly and very professional. They did the job 100% to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use them again, nor do I have any reservations in recommending them to anyone in need of electrical service.

They came on time. Were friendly. Went right to work and fixed the problem in less than the allotted time. I am in real estate and have been looking for a solid electrician to refer to my clients and I found them!

Went well.... since a hardware store was close I was able to get my own parts. Theirs are very expensive.

Elviro and Bryan were very good and tried to accommodate my needs as best they could. I bought two other functions in addition to the recessed lighting deal. The way they price and explain things is dicey. The advertising of their pricing is questionable at time and unclear. That leads to difficulty in communication and reliability. They also failed to do a safety inspection as advertised. I wish they would call me back and take care of it.

Installation was quick and efficient by professional crew.

Had NRG give a quote on a full HVAC replacement. Representative was very nice and explained everything. The reason was that they weren't concerned about getting building permits or mentioned the required HERS test. Rep said it wasn't necessary, but if we wanted to, we could get the permits. They did not inspect the attic or ducts or take measurements of space for the proposed equipment. Also, my wife was very concerned about all the low ratings and complaints about NRG on the Internet, even though the representative was very nice.

Service person was very nice and polite (reason for a higher rating). However, was told that they would have to have a crew come out and trouble shoot the electrical problem, because this would be a big job to resolve. Was told that the trouble shooting would cost $125/HR and they would let me know at the two hour mark, if they did not find the problem, if I would want them to continue trouble shooting. He called his boss, Ariel, and was told that they could not come out until the following week and that Ariel would call me later in the afternoon to schedule the work, because he was very busy at that moment. I never heard from them again. Had someone else come out (who was recommended by a family member, not on Angie's List) and do the electrical repair. Before even starting to search, he was pretty sure the problem was a utility box/branch circuit in the attic, which he found in about five minutes, replaced utility box in attic that had fried and the problem was solved in a little less than one hour. Also, asked ADI service person how much it would cost to replace the service panel and was told around $4,000. I mentioned the Angie's List price of around $1,900 and he quickly responded that the $4,000 was the Angie's List price, otherwise, it would be around $6,000 to replace.

I thought the original deal was great- but they ended up charging me an additional $450. Raising the total price to $800. No longer such a good deal. They claimed it was because of my ceiling height in the living room. When I read the small print it said an additional height charge of $95 might apply- but I feel this offer was a set up designed to entrap the buyer into accepting the extra charges. $450 seems like a disproportionate price hike for the rental of 2 ladders. Ariel, the person that sets up the appointments was rude and immediately started listing all the possible extras I would likely get charged making me instantly regret having bought the package. It were as if he was unhappy that I was getting a deal and wanted to make it clear that it was really going to cost me much more. The workers were polite and skilled. It appears the product is good. I feel this company is not operating honestly. The deal is deceptive and somewhat manipulative. I would not do business with them again and would suggest Angie's list do the same. Thanks

They did a good job. They were on time and focused.

There were two men and it took them 55 minutes, so we did not get a replacement security light installed as there would have been a 1 hour minimum charge.

They arrived on time and completed the job exactly as requested. There were a couple of items which needed correcting in order to pass final inspection and they were quick and efficient at completing those tasks. Also, they did not fully label the breakers in my new panel as they stated they would. The initial phone contact was a bit sketchy which concerned me at first, however overall I am glad I selected ADI for my MSP upgrade. They did a great job and I am a very satisfied customer.
