ADI Electrical

I bought the deal from Angie's List for $89 for 2 hours of electrical labor. They told me I would get 1 hour with 2 electricians. It was misleading in the the add, it didn't say that. They were not willing to to schedule 2 hours, so I went with a different contractor.

I love working with ADI. Ariel the owner is very responsive and professional. He understands your issue and what services/equipment you need and schedules to get it quickly done. I've used them for several other electrical jobs in the past. For this service call, I was called day before to remind me and then called a half hour or so that the crew was arriving. The very nice, clean polite crew arrived and promptly replaced the detector, tested it, made sure area was left clean and left.

Everything went great. Any issues I had was resolve quickly and communication was great.

They were on time and very professional. When one of two bulbs failed thay came right out to check and fix the problem.

Perfectly. They called the day before they were scheduled to come and said they could come then instead. I was home and they arrived when they said they would. It took a very short time to install the attic fan, they cleaned up after, and it works well. I was very pleased with the service.

The two gentlemen showed up and did exactly what I wanted. They were very polite. They got it done. I'm thinking about calling them back to fix the other light. They were very polite and very helpful. They were here on time, a little early actually. They finished quickly and I was very satisfied.

Our experience from beginning to end was excellent. Ariel (owner) inspected the site and gave us a precise estimate and took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered; there was no feeling of being rushed or upsold to something we didn't need. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in one day and cleaned up thoroughly. The electrical service was upgraded to 200 amps (from the original 100), a new riser and grounding were installed to meet current city codes, and the service to the house was mapped and the breakers labeled. Ariel arranged for a contractor to replace the wood siding that was removed during the removal and replacement of the box, and the finished repair is undistinguishable from the original siding; the contractor was even able to match the paint color. Ariel stayed in touch by phone through the whole process to check on the progress and answer any questions. We will certainly hire ADI again if we need any major electrical work on our home in the future.

They were good. They were very helpful and quick. I liked them very much. They fixed it quickly. They were very good and nice. I had no problem with them. Their punctuality was good.

I was so impressed with the professionalism of this company. This was a huge job and had a lot of steps. Throughout the process, Ariel was wonderful to work with and I had full confidence that the job would be done well. Dealing with LADWP and the city is a major hassle, but Ariel was on top of it and went above and beyond to make the process go as smoothly as possible, always considering my needs and those of my tenants. I would not hesitate to highly, highly recommend this company and will definitely work with them again in the future.

It was good. I will call them again because they're pretty flexible. I purchased two big deals and they've completed one but they're going to have to come out again for the second one.

Appt was made and rep showed up on time. Evaluated the job and said he would forward a quote at end of day. That was a week ago. Emails unanswered. Waste of time.

On August 18, I made a purchase of $250.00 worth of electrical repair service from Angie's List of Ventura, CA, for $99.00. From the list provided, I selected ADI Electrical of Woodland Hills, Ca, headed by one Ariel Kahane. I called his telephone number and arranged for him to send an electrician to my home on September 1. He was courteous and soft spoken, as he was in all my conversations with him. But on that date -- September 1 -- no electrician showed up, nor did I receive an advance telephone call from ADI. When I called ADI to ask what had happened, Mr Kahane apologized, expressing his shock that his ADI schedule showed no record of the appointment. He could not offer another appointment until September 20, so I reluctantly agreed to that date. On September 20, an electrician came, with a helper. Although I had previously explained what I wanted done, he did not have the necessary parts with him. He said he would have to come back another day, warning that the job would cost substantially more than the $99.00 pre-payment. The next appointment date available from ADI was October 3. With extreme reluctance, I agreed. But that appointment, too, was cancelled at the last minute by a call from the ADI office. The next date available, I was told, would be October 21, more than 2 months after my initial call. I accepted the appointment date, but when another contractor of my acquaintance volunteered to make the minor repair, I agreed. When I called Mr Kahane to cancel the October 21 appointment, he ruefully agreed, but explained that my refund for pre-payment must come from you. In summary: I cannot rate the quality of ADI's electrical work, but I would like a refund for the work that was never done. It is unlikely in the extreme that I will ever accept another such offer from Angie's List. Thank you.

It went fine, just took a long time to get an appoinment

They came, they saw, they installed.

Great! It just took a few minutes. They were on time, efficient and friendly

It didn't go well at all. It took 3 weeks to get the visit scheduled, then the day they where expected to come, no one showed up. We had a 2 hour window, after an hour I called and left a message. When the tech called back he said he was still 45 minutes out, (it was now an hour and 40 minutes into the appointment) so I canceled. He said they would contact me the next day to reschedule. Never heard from them. They didn't seem interested from the get go, maybe the commute was too long. Is what it is, but expected better communication if they want repeat customers. Contacted Angie's list for refund, received promptly.

I had them come out for a service call to look at a bad cord under my kitchen sink, why the microwave would make the fire alarm go off, and lights outside the house. He gave me an estimates of in the thousands. He told me I would need to change the entire breaker system to fix the situation with the microwave and the fire alarm. I had someone else come out and told me I needed to just have the fire alarm to replace. These three jobs cost me only a few hundred dollars with another company compared to the thousands he quoted me.

Typically with ADI everything goes well as planned, they are on time and do good quality work.

Was extremely happy with the work. My only criticism was with scheduling. They didn't show to the first appointment. Due to a glitch in their scheduling software/processes, I received a confirmation email for a 2nd appointment, which was also a no-show. (this time was the fault of a buggy scheduling software). 3rd time, the guys were right on time. The guys that came out were extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The work area was spotless when they left. Was extremely happy with their work. Loving the new attic fan. The house is significantly cooler. Wished I would have had it done a long time ago.

All went very well Alvaro and Bryan did an excellent job and were courteous, clean, and punctual. I would definitely call ADI again for electrical work.

The tech never showed for the appointment and didn't call. I called in and was told he was late. I was then told I would get a call back to reschedule. I never received that call! I called back in, and. after all that, was given an appointment more than a month from now! I've had ADI do several jobs for me in the past.

Took a while to get the appointment...but everything went fine once they got there. Additional fees for additional not included details...but that was expected I guess. Service was competent and efficient. Did what I wanted done. No issues.

Great and all done within an hour (with 2 electricians). I'd hire them back.
