It is truly a pleasure doing business with him and his team. They are knowledgeable, very considerate, and do excellent work. I would definitely work with these guys again--and probably will.

They were suppose to install a bathroom fan with the option of installing another one, however, they messed up on their scheduling and I waited all day for the installer to show up. I ended up calling an hour after the appointment only to find out that it was scheduled on their calendar but they forgot to notify the installer. Therefore, they wanted to reschedule and have the installer come out 3 weeks later. I said, forget it, it's not worth my time to wait again and not have someone show up. They offered not apologies and was a little offensive when I told them that it wasn't very professional and they lacked good customer service.

 + -1 moreThe guys did an excellent job. They were able to arrive earlier than scheduled - calling to let me know - and they tracked down the problem in record time. It turned out to be a bad wiring job on the smoke alarm which they found in the attic. I was very impressed with the effort they put in to find the solution.
Description of Work: Two outlets were not working and no breaker was tripped so it was a bit of a puzzle to figure out the problem.

When I finally got an appointment, the guys arrived on-time and went straight to work swapping out the old items with the switches and outlets I had pre-purchased at Home Depot. They were very neat. I ended up hiring them for 1 additional hour because they couldn't finish everything in 1 hour.
Description of Work: I purchased the advertised special of 2 hrs of electrical work for $89. It turned out to be 2 people for 1 hour. I needed all old style switches and outlets changed to the newer decor style.

 + -1 moreWell, we called Angie's List, canceled the order and got a refund. We're sure we will find another electrician who is going to install a motion sensor light, a better quality one I must add, for a reasonable price. About one year ago ADI Electric installed a motion sensor light in another area of our house and the product has been one of cheapest, most problematic ones we have ever encountered. At times it stops working and I have to climb a ladder and fiddle with the dial settings on it to get to to work properly again. We even had to call them last year, 3 months after they had installed it, to come out here and get it to work again, which they did. We think the company receives these cheap, bulk products that they get from 'who knows where' and they install it for a price that is tempting and enticing to potential customers. But after a while, the products malfunction and stop working properly because they are cheaply made. When a company is so big that doesn't have time to accommodate you or fit you into their busy schedule, treats you like dirt, doesn't care about your business or satisfaction, it's time to look for another company that DOES care. OUR ADVICE to you: Do not hire ADI Electric, or you will receive the worst customer service and the cheapest product. They look good on the surface only.
Description of Work: We clicked on a service (installing motion sensor lights) offered by ADI Electric through our daily email notifications from Angie's List and paid for it. We were then rerouted to a site that gave us 3 options on what dates and times (see photo below). We can't be home before 4 PM (we are teachers and must be in class until 3) so we chose 3 dates from 4-6 PM as they were available options on the site and when we could be home by then. When the ADI agent called us to set up a date, we were told that they only have 3-5 PM slots, as stated on their websites?!, and not 4-6. Are we supposed to visit their website when we choose their service offered through Angie's List?! I mentioned that those were the dates and times we chose based on the Angie's List site and that we couldn't be home by 3 PM, but they could not guarantee an after 4 PM time and were so rigid about it that that they couldn't accommodate us! Just plain mean and inflexible, I must add! And they they don't work on weekends either! Not a very needy company here that is trying to bend over backwards for you!) I tried to reschedule another date for the week of June 12th when our school is out and we could be available any day or time during the week but they were so booked solid they had no open slot... I mean no flexibility or trying to win our business. It was like a "take it or leave it" loud message to us from this agent and "We don't care about your measly business. We're too big and wealthy here, we don't care if you stay with us or not." Bad karma and customer relations to begin with. Mean folks who just don't care! So SAD.

I have a home that is close to 50 years old, so a small amount of updating wires was done. Am very please and will wise them again.
