I'm please to recommend Ariel and his company ADI. I'm a first time user of Angie's List and specifically registered to this service to find an honest, experienced and punctual electrician. Once doing the search, ADI soon called my attention as at the time it had 1843 reviews (with an overall "A" grade) compared to the second company on the list with 272 reviews (with an overall "B" grade). I decided to contact ADI and Ariel responded within 5 minutes and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He showed up at my home at the scheduled time and with all his tools to inspect the problem with my breaker box. Once he found the problem, Ariel explained the problem, the possible causes and the possible risks in the event it does not get repaired soon. He game three possible repair options (to have a choice depending on my budget), explained the pros/cons of each option, and advised on which option he personally recommends. I had previously done my research and agreed on his recommendations. Understanding the urgency of the problem, Ariel scheduled me with Jonny to get the project done on the following day (a Sunday - President's Holiday weekend) at no extra cost. Jonny then showed up the next day, right on time and with all the equipment needed in his truck. The work was quickly and neatly and about 6 hours after, all power was back and problem was gone! My home inspection revealed there were 2 outlets in the garage that needed to be converted to GFI. I was delighted to find the Big Deal from ADI Electrical to convert up to 5 outlets. The 2-man team arrived promptly, were highly professional, knew their stuff, and were flexible when meeting our needs. They walked the house with us and helped us decide what other three outlets were most important to convert. In addition, we wanted to put our Microwave in one of our cupboards to get it off the counter, and were considering having them install a dedicated circuit outlet in the cupboad. They investigated and found it could not be done. So my husband found another way to do it, which required drilling through the cupboard. ADI's people kindly did the drilling for him at no charge. We would definitely hire them again.

It was a Big Deal offer. The experience went very well. I had no complaints. They came on time. They came with enough personnel and equipment. They gave me good advice. It was a good installation. Everything is working so far. I was told ahead of time that there would be an additional charge of $95 to install the electrical outlet. My schedule was open for a week and a half after I contacted them.

It didn't go. Your provider will not perform any work for renters. This was not disclosed.

I was given an installation window of 10am to 12pm. Two installers came a little after 10am. The install was quick and easy, and they cleaned up when they were done. Great job!

The techs were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They prepped well, did neat work, and cleaned up nicely; they explained use & care of the units in lay language which I could follow. There were 2 techs & one had to leave to purchase the 2nd unit as they only came equipped with one, despite numerous conversations with the office detailing the job. The fact that 1 tech left for 1/2 hr slowed the work. As I had purchased a coupon for 2 hrs of work, they were unable to complete some other little stuff they could have done for me during that visit. This was clearly the fault of poor communication by the office, whom they said had told them only 1 unit was to be installed. I confirmed with the office that they had given these guys the incorrect information. The techs also said they were not instructed to stay for 2 hrs, but only to do the 2 installs, and when I called the office while they were still here, to ask them to clarify that for the techs, I was unable to reach anyone. Subsequent to their leaving I called the office to say there should be 1/2 hr of time left on the coupon & the same person I had been speaking with in the office said she would have them stop by when they were in my area. It may sound like penny pinching...and it IS...electrical visits are expensive.but I had purchased the time and they should have honored it, especially as the waste of 25% of the time was due to the office error in communication. They have not contacted me as yet to schedule the 1/2 hr visit owed, and 6 weeks has elapsed. This was a small job and I have more extensive work that needs doing, but I am uncomfortable with the communication issues and wouldn't wish to get involved with overseeing work when such an essential link in communication appears so weak.

They did a great job. Two gentlemen showed up and removed my old fan and put together and hung the new fan. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very professional. It was a great experience.

The experience went smoothly. They sent 3 people and they installed the fan. Basically it was an in and out service. They charged me 40 Dollars more because they had to extend a vent to the outside. They had to climb into the attic, and put a tube in. The interaction went smoothly. I would recommend them to family and friends if they wanted that kind of a fan. The price was reasonable. I may not recommend them for other services, but if this deal of super quiet fan with no heat had to come out again, I would recommend them. I don't know how they would work in situations like replacing a socket switch and stuff like that. They were easy to work with, and friendly.

It worked out well. The fan works great. It is awesome. They were pretty quick and I have not had any issues with the fan turning off or anything. It was just right. They were nice and I had no complaints about them. I just paid for the price of the big deal. Because of my schedule, I had to push things back but they did the service maybe two weeks after I purchased the big deal.

Ari's guys were called by me to replace several ceiling mount light fixtures and when the electrician came, he found some loose wiring and was able to fix our problems in 20 minutes and for a lot less charge. That's rare in these days. Usually you are charged even if things get repaired quickly. Ari's guy was fast, very polite and was focus on his work. 3 big plusses.

The initial call to assess the job was professional. The first visit they helped to assess the need and make sure the wiring could handle the request for a new power outlet. On the second visit they made the electrical system change in fewer than two hours, s we had agreed and everything now works great.

He was supposed to fix a lamp. The ladder they brought was not tall enough and they had to reschedule me. I had already waited 3 weeks and I had to wait another 2.

Bought an Angie's List deal. Two hours of electrical work for $89. When they first came over to see what the work was for, there was a bit of a bait and switch feel to the whole thing. The coupon we purchased obviously is just their way to get in the door. I do want to say that the two men that came to do the work were punctual, professional, and neat. No problem with them. But unfortunately because of the sales people I would not hire them again.

It didn’t turn out very well. They sent two guys so they were here for an hour (two man hours). They installed two exterior sockets that seemed to work when they left, but stopped working the next day. I supplied the equipment. They were great guys. They were polite and seemed knowledgeable, but in the end I am left with two non-working sockets.

They came and sold me lights, $700 worth. They sent people who couldn't really even communicate. Their English was nearly non-existent. The electrical work that they did is now suddenly throwing off my electrical system. When my sprinklers and the lights come on at the same time or in the same day, it blows the circuit. I called them out here and they just poked around for a little bit. They then said they could do nothing. Now, I'm left with having to find some sort of a company to come out and evaluate to see what can be done about this problem. They finally came back out again about ten days ago. I had been gone for months. I had called them about the problem and was gone for several months. I called them back and they did come out. I don't believe they're really electricians or at least they certainly don't stand behind their work. ADI doesn't even put new wires on the lights. They attach it to your existing wiring. Newer wires might be more powerful. They don't do any checking in to see how things are really going to work. All they did was attach lights. They spliced wires and that's probably where the problem is. It's spliced on to older wires that can't handle the lights. That's the thing that I can think of. It's going to wind up in another very expensive deal for me. I can't even use those lights they put in the backyard because the circuit blows. It also effects my sprinkler system because it's all on the same thing. It's not a good thing but very bad. There are lights out there but I paid a high price for them. I tried to call them back to speak to the woman and just tell her what didn't happen. She doesn't return the calls now. They say they're going to apply the price of the big deal, $49, to the lights that you purchase but it turns out to be a bait and switch. They don't even send qualified people. If you can't communicate with the people, how qualified are they? Why would they need to hire people that don't really even speak English? It's probably because it's cheap labor. That's the only explanation that you could have. How would you know what their skills are if they don't communicate? Maybe these people are from the same region or country as the people who own the company. The only problem is that I don't live in that country nor speak that language. It puzzles me how they could come and do a good job for some member and then totally botch this up. When Angie's List went back to get their statement, they said they did this and that extra. It's bologna. These people are not qualified and don't stand behind their work. I read what I thought was enough reviews on this company to choose them. I was tempted to send them away but I felt sorry for them. I just assumed that they knew what they were doing, which was wrong. They'd probably say they went back out again at my request, checked it out, and it had nothing to do with our work. It's amazing that it happened right after their work was done.

Purchased an Angie's List coupon for 2 man-hours of electrical work for $100. Luis & Henry showed up right on time. They got right to work and did a great job. They used the parts I supplied and cleaned everything up after they were done. No surprises. No extra charges. Exactly as advertised. Will definitely use again.
