ADI Electrical

I had a circuit breaker go out this weekend - we had turned it off to install some new switches and when we turned it back on it was arcing and sparking. We bought the new breaker but I was afraid to let my husband install it himself. I saw an Angie's List big deal for 1 hour of electrical labor and called ADI. The office manager was helpful and professional - luckily she had a team in my area today so she sent the electricians out to assess the work before I made a commitment by purchasing the Big Deal. A team of two guys came out within a couple hours of my call. They installed the breaker within a few minutes and then, with the extra time, replaced a switch for me too. Both tasks were done within 30 minutes and I am sure they would have been able to do more but I didn?t have any other urgent projects in mind. The electricians were very nice and efficient. Overall, I feel like I got a great deal - and I definitely think it was worth $49 to have professionals deal with the breaker for peace of mind that I wasn?t going to risk frying my husband! I will definitely call ADI next time I have an electrical project.

Great gal at the front office took my info, took thorough notes - made the appointment. They came on time, completed the work as promised. Not the lowest price- but with electrical if you are paying the lowest price- you could find yourself in big trouble!

Henry and Luis arrived on time, were professional, extremely fast and clean! I was very impressed and will definitely call ADI for any future electrical needs.

They put in some vent fans and we had a problem with one of them because they didn't put in the proper jbox, so we called them and they came out within a day or so to correct the whole thing and was very apologetic. The pricing was good. They were very receptive to the problem and very receptive to coming out and getting it taken care of.

It went perfectly. Arrived on time, very professional, did everything I wanted to make me happy with smiles on their faces. Friendly, courteous, and professional. Zero complaints and very happy!!

Office staff was very helpful in arranging the appointment, and in providing a very reasonable quote for additional work I requested. The two technicians arrived on schedule. They covered the areas below the fan installations to protect items underneath. When the work was done, they demonstrated the fans and showed us how to use the timer switches we had requested as additional work. I was very satisfied with the work and the price. They will certainly be my first call for future electrical work.

The service turned out fine. Everything was exactly what they stated.

They were trying to up charge everything. I let them know what needed to be done and they just tried to double everything in price. I did get a refund for the Big Deal. He came over and he let me know the price for the work was double the price for the Big Deal. The were nice and they were responsive.

I was satisfied they were able to find most of the corresponding outlets, etc.

I had all switch deposit functioning and they had to find which plug was associated with it to connect that. They were fine. They came when they said they would. I also got estimates from them for some other jobs and I haven’t done anything about that because I thought their price was quite high. I have no complaints with what they did.

The company did not understand your offer of two hours free labor. We had a discussion and finally convinced them of the facts.

I have no need for the Big Deal at this time, so I have contacted Angie's List for a refund. I have used ADI in the past and they were professional so this has no bearing on the company.

It turned out very good. I thought they were very responsive. They came in, did the work. The work was done very well so we were very pleased. They were very responsive and they got the job done very quickly and did a fine job.

ADI Electrical was great. We scheduled the appointment in late summer due to vacations. When they got here, they went right to work. It took very little time to remove the old fans and replace them with the new very quiet ones. We had listened to the old fans for so long that my husband and I were convinced that if we couldn't hear the fans they weren't working. Well, these fans are quiet and they work well. They are so quiet we left one on the first night.

The job would have met all the fine print criteria but the service provider was making the job much more difficult adding materials and therefore, charges.

They suggested rewiring to some extent and I turned it down. I wish they would have used uppercase letters on their labeling because the labels are kind of small and it’s hard to read. I would also like to see them improve their communication. One fellow I don’t believe understood English at all. I would like to be able to communicate more specifically with the workers they send out. The cost was fair.

They were fast, on time and very good.

I have called the company a couple of times and they finally told me they do not service my area.

I bought an angle’s list coupon for a panel upgrade in late December, but due to a lagging renovation construction schedule I did not use the coupon until late February. It was no problem at all. Arial came out in January and gave me an estimate. It came to a fair amount more than the coupon due to some necessary renovations not included, but I expected this since the coupon price was so low. I still paid far less than other estimates I had gotten. Arial’s crew came out on time and finished the work very efficiently. The new panel was installed very neatly and we’re really happy with the upgrade. We had Arial’s subcontractor refinish the stucco around the panel (not included in the coupon) and I feel that his repainting was not the best- it could definitely use a 2nd coat! But overall they were quick and efficient.

It went fine. The office called the day before to confirm the appt, and gave me the expected time for arrival. The two electricians showed up on time (and I'm a stickler for punctuality), were neat and clean, and did the job efficiently. This is the second time I've used this company and based on their jobs, I would use them again.

I had no problem with ADI, I just changed my mind. I have used them before.

That did not turn out too well. They came with 2 guys so they only stayed for less than 1 hour. They came out and they said that they could not do the work that we requested of them. They were able to do a couple little things, but they mostly gave us quotes for other jobs they could do.

I appreciated the service man being very honest and straight forward. To change the main service box was going to cost me $3500. I was not able to afford this at the time and was told by So. Cal. Edison it was not really necessary.

They were bad. They didn't do any of the things that I wanted done, and one of the things that I told them was to put up the chandelier, and they didn't put it up properly. When they were leaving, they said their manager would call, so that they could come back and do something else, but they didn't call. The price was okay. The person I talked to prior to the appointment was very pleasant, however they weren't able to accomplish any of the things that I wanted them to accomplish. I wouldn't use them in the future.
