ADI Electrical's rep, Ariel was fine. I would imagine that I represent a general public who don't speak 'electrician' so the description of the 'big deal' versus what i actually needed didn't match. So when Ariel came to assess the work, that's when I learned that the cost of the job far exceeded the $949 deal. Not prepared for it.

The service turned out great. I actually already had a better fan, but they still made good on the coupon. They re-did some electrical in the bathroom, added a switch and connected the fan I already had. The technicians are very professional, practical, and responsive. They are typically pretty good with scheduling and very helpful when they are busy.

Guys arrived on time (they called a few minutes early to let us know they were on their way). Two techs came, so while one installed the motion light (which I had pre-purchased) the other took apart the patio light to figure out why it wasn't illuminating with the other two patio lights. Turns out it was just wired to a lightswitch inside I hadn't even thought to check. They gave me a quick brief on setting up the motion light and they were out. Quick, professional - I'll keep using ADI in the future.

The provider did absolutely nothing. First he made excuses why he could not perform on the first 3 suggested dates that I requested ("it's the busy season.") The I heard nothing. Next, I called to say I would let Angie's List know that he did not honor his offer. He said he did not have my phone number. I do not believe that he could not find out from Angie's List. But I agreed that he could try again on 5/30 and that I would not contact Angie's List. 5/30 was complete no-show and no call to me to offer any explanation. This is completely unacceptable.

I purchased an Angie's List special for $49 for an hour's worth of electrical work. Among other items, I had a few outlets in the house that had not been wired correctly and I wanted them to fix. At first I was not too happy because the scheduling system on Angie's List did not seem to be communicating with their scheduling system because the first contact I received was to say the dates I requested were not available. This is why I rated the responsiveness a B. The problem may be with the Angie's List system or the ADI system, I just don't know. But ADI was very helpful and their office worked with me directly to let me know the next available date and even kept me on a list to notify me when others had cancelled or when their crew finished early and could come over to my place. They were able to do the job on 5/21/14. Personnel were very polite and on time when they arrived. They listened to what I needed and performed the work great. I ended up having some outlets re-wired. They also replaced an outside GFCI outlet for an additional materials charge of $60 for which I'm happy. The new box has a larger bubble and an opening for the power cable so I can leave items plugged in with the cover closed. They also took the time to test a spare ceiling fan motor to confirm it worked. They also helped revive my old electric doorbell that had been not sounding so good. They also took the time to post the wires from my garbage disposal to the back of the undersink area so they did not get in the way of other things. They were professional and polite and stayed the entire hour to correct what I needed. I would recommend them to others and will use them on my next electrical project.

The initial person they sent out was great and was very helpful. But then he had to go on an emergency and the other guy that came, I was kind of expecting him to address issues and tell me in depth more what I needed to do. I was a little bit disappointed that they didn't take a little more time or go into more detail. I think if the original guy had been here, I think it would have been fine. It was probably just one of those fluke things, so I don't want to put too much emphasis on it. In the end ultimately we got what we wanted. So overall it's fine. I would recommend them because of the work that they did. The work was really good. The guys that came out to do the work were excellent. So we were really pleased with them.

I purchased the Deal through Angie's List for $99. My appointment time was 8-10 am and Luis & Henry showed up precisely at 8 am and started the job. They were both friendly and professional and I was very pleased to see everything going so smoothly. After the job was completed, they cleaned up and answered a few questions that I had. I will definitely use them in the future.

It actually turned out really good. They were great. The guys that did the work were really thorough and they really knew what they were doing, and explained everything to us. We were really happy with the work that they did. The service they did today was great. They were on time and they did the work quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. They did a really good job. We did test all the lights while they were here and they all seemed to be working. We have to buy a bulb for one, but there was another one that they had bulb for, so they did that for us. So they were really accommodating. Their work was really good and I would recommend them.

The "Big Deal" engagement turned out fine but they had to come back and do some repairs. We paid an extra $4000 on top of the deal. I think there'd be no reason to use their services again.

Very badly. We paid for but received NO services. Vendors not close enough in our area to come we learned later by talking to owners AND due to very serious illness in our family during the time period allowed we missed the time period. So, would have liked some consideration but got none. p.s. made up a date of service because you wouldn't accept this form otherwise AND it ALWAYS APPEARS when I log in which reminds me of my great disappointment so I want the reminder to answer survey to go away!

The first call went well. The repairman was professional and friendly and gave us advice we needed about the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. However he forgot a piece of equipment and I called ADI and left a message but never heard back and I forgot to give it back when the new repairmen came back a few weeks later to do additional work we requested. I still have the piece of equipment. I was happy with the work done but I asked for an invoice for my records and the repairman said that it would be emailed to me, but I never received it.

Everything was fantastic! They were very good about communication via email and phone. I believe I’ve hired them again since the Big Deal. They created a new outlet for me.

Two servicemen arrived on time. I showed them to the electrical panel. They did the work as described. One guy was in the house on his phone and the other guy was outside at the panel. It took about an hour and I'm satisfied. They did tell me that my house needs an upgrade to a 200amp panel from a 100amp panel which does trouble me because they might be right. But since I'm not an electrician how am I to know for sure. I'll wait and see on that one. They quoted me $3500 to replace it but then I saw their deal for $1600 on Angie's List so I'm not sure why the quote was so high. I'll revisit that at a later time. I will be using them again very soon and I would recommend them to you.

I did use them and they were great. Everybody was very friendly and they were adaptable to certain request that I had. It does not matter what condition your house is in, they still do it. They are concrete and in the glow of construction and they still beat it. It is just having little things like that, is a good indicator of the whole package. The price is average. I have not had any issues. They were here early and on time. They got back to me right away. They were professional.

The installation scheduling was done, as promised on Angie's list, within a short time after I visited Angie's List., I received a phone call the day before the installation. The Installers were on time, explained everything well and the installation process was done within 2 to 3 hours. The Installers set the timer for the lights to my satisfaction. Also, I accidentally repaid my 10% down payment again by accident. A short phone call to the boss solved the problem within 6 days. Today, I received a refund check for the mistakenly overpaid amount. Fast action of ADI/s accounting Department was very much appreciated and is, otherwise, unheard of with other big accounting firms. I can highly recommend ADI Electric and will use ADI again for any future electrical work on my home.

ADI asked I called Edison to have them mark the meter and unlock it which I did. Then they schedule a survey inspection to take a look at the meter. Even before he opened the meter, he was already dropping hints it will cost more than what I paid for ($949). In fact, almost 4x more than what I paid for the deal. This is a "bait and switch". They piggy back off the Edison to enforce their story it will cost more for the replacement.

The service turned out very well. It was provided almost immediately. There were additional charges on top of the $4,799 Big Deal. We paid about $7,700 extra because we upgraded. We have not used them before. I was very pleased with the service overall. They were very quick. We have had no issues at all. I would highly recommend them. The price was fair. My husband sounded very pleased with it. Considering what we got from Angie’s list, we would have paid twice the amount for the full house electrical wiring.

He informed me my house was in bad electrical shape, but didn't get much more from him. I believe I could have gotten this for free had I called for someone give me an estimate.

I paid $100 for a coupon for 2-hours of service. I called ADI and scheduled service to install a whole-house surge protector. Due to the high volume of Angie's List coupons they were only able to schedule 3 weeks+ in the future. When the day came for the service, I called ADI to ensure that they knew to bring the surge protector. ADI had no record of the appointment. Basically I spent $100, waited 3+ weeks, and am back to square one. When I told ADI that I wanted a refund, they told me to contact Angie's List because "they had my money". Have now been on hold with Angie's List for 10 minutes. The whole experience has been a huge waste of time. Back to Yelp.

THEY WERE VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT!!

Provider performed the installation in a prompt, complete, and professional manner.

They told us that we would have to move our electrical box to a different location, which we could not do at the time. However, they were fantastic to deal with.

I had scheduled the installation 3 weeks earlier. I received a reminder call the night before and then again the next day about an hour before the electricians showed up. It took no more than a half hour for the installation. They replaced an existing ceiling light fixture with the fan and installed a new wall switch. Great job.
