Henry and Louis are great guys, very professional, honest, and nice. This is the second time I have had them out here, and I recommend them highly.

ADI electrical placed a motion light detector in back of house. Very professional and polite. They also were very clean

Did not go well: the guy gave an estimate of approximately $3000 to complete the job that I thought was covered by the Big Deal.

It went great! Luis and his partner were excellent! They were here right on time and went above and beyond my expectations. They were great. The next time I need service I will request them again. This was my first time using Adi, but it won't be my last.

I took advantage of an Angie's List deal for ADI to come out and fix my landscape lighting. Several lights kept going out and new bulbs weren't working. The gentleman fixed a few of them and noted a couple others in the front would ideally need to be placed on their own box and not on a connection stretched from the backyard to the front. Makes sense, but I wasn't prepared to make such an enhancement at the time. The technician did his best with what he had, and mentioned new lights would help. He could either take care of bringing in new lights or I could go to a home improvement store and buy replacement lights myself at a greatly reduced cost, and he'd come back to install. I chose the semi-DIY option, but when I called to schedule time for him to come back for the install I never got a response. I finally just hired a handyman.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went fine. The pricing stood out because it was a deal. The employees were fine. They made a few errors but they came back and fixed them.

Everything went exactly as I expected. They are always professional.

The technician arrived on time and after doing some rewiring under the sink, he got it so that the bottom plug turned on and off with the garbage disposal unit switch and upper plug, which also turned off with the garbage disposal switch before, stayed active for other use such as water filter. The problem is that now my dish washer unit has no power, which had no power problem prior to above mentioned repair. I did not notice the problem until my wife tried to use the dish washer few days ago. If we had noticed the problem while the technician was here, he could have resolved the problem then but unfortunately we discovered the problem days after the 5/30 fix. I don't know if this is covered under their warranty service or I have to pay for another service call and at higher regular price. This service was done through special pricing sales of $50.00 I'd like the Angie's List to contact the ADI Electrical to resolve this issue and or an offer from them to fix the problem at reasonable cost if that's required. What ADI did: 1. Come onsite for inspection, then try to sell me upgrade to 200AMP panel 2. Call Edison for Meter Spot 3. Keep trying to sell me the panel upgrade, then quote me additional $1800 for running new conduit. 4. The provider decide not to do the work and ask me to call Angie's List for refund. What actually happened: ADI keeps trying to sell me the 200 AMP Panel upgrade although I purchased 100AMP panel swap. When I refuse, Arial get upset and tell me he needs to charge me $1800 more to run the new conduit. He refuse to do the work when I say use the existing conduct inside the wall. Also he blame Edison for setting such standard. Completely scam, no one is getting the value of the good deal because how ADI makes money is to charge you extra for small thing

went as good as it can go the guys were cool did an excellent job I don't see how I wouldn't call them again when I need more electrical help.

I purchased a $69 ceiling fan installation from this provider and the instructions had me call them to make an appointment. I've left several messages for them to schedule an installation but no one ever called me back and the line always went to voicemail. I had my bank reverse the charges and gave up.

They spoke to me over the phone. The fan they have in the deal is 10x11 inches. I have an older home and the fan I have is 11x15 inches. They said they could complete the installation, but there would be a gap, and I would need to patch the hole myself. They were very nice, but the service couldn't be performed.

The guys showed up promptly and quickly got to work changing out my old outlets for the new ones. They were pleasant, friendly and very helpful including testing a couple of outlets that I wasn't sure were working properly. This was a great deal and I would definitely recommend them to anyone else thinking about updating their outlets! I had a Time Warner tech at my home at the same time as the guys were there and I commented to the tech guy what a great deal I thought it was and he was really impressed and said he would have to look into joining Angie's List to get a deal like that.

He did an inspection for us. The guys cool.

The company could not replace our electrical box until next week, after So. Cal Edison approved it. We were without electricity in half the house, so we could not wait until next week. We got someone else to fix the problem.

The two electricians that came were prompt, courteous, and very professional. They did a great job and I would hire them again!

I have mixed feelings about ADI. At the end of the day, they are a quality company that cares about doing the job right. Importantly, they care about their rating on Angie's List. However, we did have some challenges in my project and while they eventually did the right thing, it did take some effort, time, and stress. At the start, Ron came to our apartment and provided a thorough and solid quote for the work. He is an easy to work with and because he owns the company, knows what he can do and cannot do and what he can bend and not bend on. The challenge came when ADI felt that our recessed lights did not need a fire box in the ceiling to meet code. I repeatedly asked ADI if they were sure it was to code because installing fireboxes would have added $2000 to the cost and I was not sure I wanted to do the work for that expense. Well, they installed the recessed lights and the code officer came said they needed fireboxes. And this is when things got more stressful. In came Ariel (sp?). As I understood it, Ariel runs as the supervisor for all ADI's workers in the field. Such a guy needs to be tough and firm to be effective in his job. However, in working with clients, these are not necessarily the best skills to have, especially since my relationship was orginally with Ron. ADI chose to have Ariel deal with me directly on the issue and he came into the discussion saying that I should pay for the whole cost! This was clearly a negotiation tactic but it was stressful for me and my wife. The negotiations took a few weeks to work out which was bothersome. Was Ariel trying to wear me out by delaying responses to my calls or was he just overburdened with supervising his crew? At the end of the day, they did end up doing the right thing, installed the fireboxes, and covered the cost. I sincerely think they were surprised by arguably the ridiculousness of the Santa Monica codes and it came at a high cost to them. But they should know better - they are in the area all the time. I can appreciate that they tried to save some money for themselves by trying to negotiate. However, they did waste a lot of time trying to negotiate which was not appreciated. It was also quite stressful. At the end of the day, I am not sure I would use them again - too much water under the bridge. But I could see myself recommending them to others depending on the job.

He came to the house and looked at my panel. He quoted me $2500 more to do the work. I feel like the Big Deal is misleading.

I bought a big deal for 1 hour of electricians' time from ADI. The date for work was out a few weeks from my call, but I was in no rush. The workers arrived at the designated time. They had both done work for me before and at that time I was satisfied. The workers were friendly and professional. They made sure not to make a mess, using drop cloths on our brand-new kitchen cabinets. They worked quickly without a break and completed the work within 1 hour. I will use ADI again for my electrician needs, and I also recommend them as well.

When I met with Ariel on 6/9. He looked at the panel and proceeded to tell me that the coupon was not for the type of job I needed. "Replace" means it was for an equal swap out of an electrical panel (same place, no upgrade). I needed the panel to be moved and upgraded to 200, both of which is not covered. To me, neither was explicit in the "fine print", but Ariel let me know that for the job it would cost $3,200, but later, after I asked, they had a coupon for $2,200, I think. I let him know that it was still more than what I had been quoted by other electricians. He told me that I got real good estimates, but that was the best they could do. He let me know I could contact Angie's List and request a refund. I was still a bit confused because the language seemed too vague for me, but Ariel let me know, no one else had read it that way. I messaged ADI about how I thought it seemed to be a "bait and switch". Ron got back to me very quickly and after some phone tag, he assured me that it was Angie's Lists lawyers who worded the coupon and that it was what Ariel had told me in the field. Both men were very pleasant and professional. So, I guess I can only say I misunderstood the deal and I have requested that possibly Angie's lawyers could revise the verbage to avoid another me. As far as ADI goes after hearing their prices I think I'll stick with one of the other 2 electricians I contacted and I'll request a refund on the deal.

Arrived promptly. Had told office what I wanted when I scheduled the Angie's List deal, and she understood that this was not a repair, but an installation. I was told in advance they would charge me for any additional time and parts. They installed two sconces, moving wiring and adding a separate switch. It was an additional $250 after the purchase of the 'two man hours" deal. I was going to have them return to install the additional sconces and some can lights in the dining room, but when they called their boss for a quote, it was very high, over double the advertised special rates that were available on Angie's List and the company website. I hired another company to do the work instead, at a much more reasonable cost. Il have a family full of contractors, and an interior design background, so I had a pretty good idea of what it should cost. It was a shame, as I am doing multiple interior and a large back yard project, and I would have been happy to have used them had their prices been more reasonable.

I didn't get competitive bids per se, but checked costs online, with friends, etc. and ADI was right on the money. I also verified that my exiting electrical panel was rated as a serious hazard by every online source I checked. ADI workers were very courteous, punctual, and professional. I also appreciate that they cleaned up at the end of each day and made sure that everything was plugged back in and functional when they left. The job did take a lot longer than estimated which a bit problematic, but waiting for DWP and building inspectors took up some of the extra time. The service went very well. They did exactly what the deal stated. The technicians did a nice job and there were no issues with the service. Scheduling was very easy. I really appreciated the company going out of their way for the service. I would definitely use the company again.

They arrived on time and 20 minutes later I had an electrical outlet for my outdoor lighted tree. Everything was clean. Very friendly and professional.
