Last year I got about 4 different estimates from companies I found on Angie's List. The AC company I hired from the Pasadena Home Show was such a horrible experience that I needed to make sure my electrical job was not a repeat. I decided to hire ADI a year later because of Ariel's (head electrician) knowledge of the Pasadena city codes, his professionalism, and his promptness toward any estimates I needed. The prices from other companies may have been cheaper but they nickel and dime every outlet or switch I needed. Ariel's price included pretty much anything I desired....no questions asked. I got way more than I expected. Pedro, Jose, and the rest of his crew were the hardest workers I have ever seen or dealt with. I never saw them on a break and sometimes they would skip lunch all together! At the end of the day I would see some workers running even though you could tell they must have been exhausted. Not to mention the temperatures and humidity were unusually high this week. On some days they were here way past the time they were supposed to leave. I had a difficult cement slab floor home (1956) and they made things happen no matter how difficult it was. Pedro fulfilled my every request and then added additional things for my convenience. He asked me about each room before he did any work and he was very precise about everything. My house has plastered ceilings and walls which was very messy. The crew put plastic, taped paper on the floor, swept, and vacuumed after each day. Pedro and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. They did several things that they did not need to do that were a very pleasant surprise. Pedro put in fixtures in the closet and added new motion detector lights outside replacing my old ones. He checked my kitchen and did work in there to fix a poor electrical job that had been done before I purchased the home. He fixed many things that were not up to code in my garage, and he also added another gfci outlet in my bathroom. He also moved a light switch that was in a poor place, and put up a fan box upstairs. All in all this was NOT an easy job and they worked their tails off to make it happen. We passed inspection with flying colors. The last company I hired for AC....the inspector had to come back 3 times due to questionable work. They finished the job in 8 days and the patching guy should arrive soon. Thank you Pedro, Jose, Ariel, and crew for all your help. I will definitely consider you first for any of my electrical needs in the future.

great guys appreciate their hard work installed a ceiling fan for me quickly and were very nice I'm very pleased by the price I would keep using them as long as they keep up the good work.

Ariel stuck with his original quote even when I asked for additional outlets and switches that were not discussed prior to the estimate. His employees were courteous and professional, and cleaned up after themselves every day. For those who have not done this before (was a new experience for me), a complete rewire means multiple holes in every wall of the house so they can pull new conduit. This is a major job. They filled and plastered all the holes when they were through and everything was sanded to be painter ready. I am happy with the work and with ADI. I would call them again, although I don't think I will need an electrician again as they did everything (at least until the next major remodel).

The two technicians arrived right on time and prepared. They installed the fan in under an hour. Then they checked an outlet for me. It needed replacement. Since I was going on vacation I told them I would purchase the new outlet and they said give them a call and they will come an install it. Excellent service.

The provider was great. They covered my bed with a plastic sheet so it would not get dirty. They unpacked the fan from the box and assembled it. They worked quickly an efficiently and were done in less than an hour.

Henry and Luis were fantastic- arrived on time, and we're finished before I knew it. A very professional and courteous job - they even plugged all the appliances back into the wall when they were finished.

I called to ask about the deal on Angie's List for the new outdoor electrical outlet installed for $99, and I described my problem (the old GFCI outlet was no longer working and I couldn't replace it myself because the screw had rusted). The agent suggested that I just pay for a different deal - $49 for a one-hour labor visit - and supply my own parts, since the electrical line already existed. So, I went to Home Depot and bought a new weather-resistant outlet and weatherproof cover for under $30. Unfortunately, the appointment had to be scheduled for almost a month after I first called, due to the high volume of people claiming deals from Angie's List. But the outlet was just for some outdoor Malibu lights, so the wait was fine with me. The appointment was scheduled for between 9 and 11 on Tuesday, July 29. ADI called me on the day prior to confirm. Henry and Luis showed up at 8:19am(!), introduced themselves and got to work. They removed the old outlet, using pliers to remove the old, rusted screw, installed the new outlet and the new cover, tested everything, and they were done in about half an hour. They were neatly uniformed, clean and professional. It was a refreshing change for me to have a service provider show up EARLY for an appointment - which worked out really well, because I didn't have to miss work. (This is in contrast to a A/C repair I had the previous day, where the appointment was for 9am-1pm, and the repair guy didn't show up until 2:30pm). I would highly recommend ADI for the type of work that I had done. I appreciate that the agent who answered the phone tried to recommend the least expensive option for me. My only disappointment was that I had to wait several weeks for the appointment.

I bought the deal at $389.00. When they came to survery they said the job would it would cost $3,500.00. Classic bait and switch.

They did a very good job. Very Efficient, cleaned up after themselves. I would defiantly hire and recommend them.

No fault of them or me, just scheduling didn't work out. Perhaps they were too good, too busy or otherwise not adequately staffed to handle promotional demand.

It went well. They were in and out very quickly. I have lots of other electrical problems around the house and wanted to discuss them but the people they sent out knew how to screw in a socket period. If it was my business I would want my workers to contact the office and get my questions answered. I go exactly what i paid for

We set up an appointment for the earliest available date, which was two weeks out. In the meantime, I was able to install the fan.

They cleaned up the area. They didn't up replacing and patching the hole on the wall. They got what they quotes us for. They provided us additional quotes to additional work that we want to.

They completed the task and it came out fine. I felt the price was very high for what they did. I probably wouldn't use them again since they called and told me to find someone else because they didn't have time.

We like ADI very much - quick, clean and responsive.

They guys were great. On time and professional. They accidentally knocked a bedroom fan loose when moving through our terrible crawl space (to get to where the NEW fan was to be installed in living room) and went back and fixed it. A few months later, that same bedroom fan was acting up again. They came back and fixed it. No charge. They are fantastic!

They were wonderful. Cindy at the office is so nice and accommodating. In fact, they did such a great job, I had them also install a new ceiling fan. They gave me an excellent price. I would definitely recommend them!

The soonest available appointment was over a month away. RIDICULOUS. I simply cannot wait that long for help with replacing motion-sensor lights and changing outdoor light bulbs.

Service was scheduled for too long in the future we just did it ourselves.

I had originally requested to get the circuits identified from the panel. Due to circumstances, I never had it done. I have just hired them to upgrade my panel from 100 to 200 amps. I will also have them check all of the wiring and install a new plug with it's own circuit for my WIFI device and other ethernet equipment. I just had an inspection and we are currently waiting for Edison to mark the location for the new panel. I will do another write up for ADI once we have completed the work on the house.

I give ADI Electric a total score of 3 stars. I gave the 3 stars because the workers arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner and the price was good. But, I subtract 2 stars because during the time the workers were in our home, one of them was loud, rude and unprofessional. Shortly after entering our home to begin the installation, one of the workers got on his cell phone and it sounded like he was speaking with someone from the ADI office. He was talking very loud and sounded like he was arguing with the person on the other end. After getting off his cell phone, for much of the duration he was here (approx. 2 hrs.), he was talking to his associate in a loud voice that could be heard throughout our house using vulgar language such as "P***, VERGA, CHINGATHA, P*** VIEJA,... We are not fluent in Spanish but me and my family members do know that these words are vulgar and when spoken out very loudly so as to be heard throughout our house, we feel it is ASSAULTING, INSULTING, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Also, when they were getting ready to leave, the other worker (much quieter and professional) began to clean-up the mess they made on the floor but the other worker told him to just leave the mess and let's get going. And even though he said to me "thank you and have a good day", it still left a BAD taste in our mouths, to say the least.

I was very pleased with the results. They changed out the light fixture on the back porch and repaired 2 landscaping lights in front of the house. This is the 4th time I have used ADI and highly recommend them.

After they came out to inspect my home, they informed me that this particular installation would be better suited for a smaller house. They were very responsive and professional and I had no problems with the company themselves but I was unable to use them.

There's a reason ADI Electrical has received such great ratings on Angie's List! They're fantastic! Not only were they incredibly professional, kind & patient, but the quality of their work was excellent. They were responsive and punctual. They're a wonderful family owned business who takes great pride and care in their work. I've renovated a number of homes over the years and have never worked with a better electrical company. My husband and I were thrilled with their work and will continue to use them for upcoming projects.
