I purchased the ADI Electrician Big Deal on Friday 10/31. In that coupon, it clearly mentioned that "Deal can be used for any variety......installing interior or exterior outlets". When I called to make an appointment, they refused to honor the installation of exterior outlet. Installation of exterior outlet is the only THING i need from this purchase and they are not honoring it. I am very disappointed with this purchase and need a refund. According to the fine print, there is 30-Day Refund Guarantee.

They couldn't get me scheduled in time.

I purchased the big deal and when I called them for an appointment services are not available until December. They informed me that big deal offers are not required to state availability times. I though the woman who I talked to was not pleasant & her attitude was--I don't care--I will never call them again & be sure to alert people about the company

Excellent Ariel was great and his crew was professional and cleaned up so well that my wife had no idea contractors had been in our home. When I showed her the new lights she was thrilled with the results and is telling me we should only use ADI for any future electrical work 5 star work result! Highly recommended

Spoke with company about scheduling over the phone and they never returned my call.

They were great and very polite but I am not needing the service anymore.

Well, I wasted a lot of money on this one. I bought the $499 Angie's List deal in the hopes of having the exterior lighting improved in the front and back of my house. First: After the work was completed, and the new transformer installed, I was horrified to see they had installed it directly in front of my house. The thing is HUGE and quite ugly!! I called a few days later to have it moved. This time the manager came out (he was very nice) and wholeheartedly agreed it was not the right location and they moved it to the side of the house and out of sight. Second: I had one dark area which needed a light. They said it couldn't be done (unless we went underground) because it was on the other side of a door and the wires from the transformer would have to snake up and around the front door to get a light to that area. It honestly doesn't make sense to me because there are two OTHER lights right near that area which are also on the same timer so there's obviously electricity. Now, only half my house is lit. Finally: All they basically did was change the transformer and replace the old lights with the same exact lights. I had a credit from a previous "deal" which I never used. They could have at least offered to upgrade the lights to LED's with the $49 credit. Didn't happen.

The conversation was very professional and he handled it well. Unfortunately, he was unable to come out for several weeks, when I need him to come out immediately.

Misunderstood the deal, so I don't need the service

Prior to coming, the office called and confirmed the time and date. When she had the wrong time-period listed, Cindy gave me another time slot which agreed with my work schedule. Went very well, even showed up early. 2 installers came in with own ladder, covered the dining room area with plastic, moved my dining room table to make sure it didn't get damaged since it sat directly under the fan. One installer put the new fan together while the other one disassembled the old fan. Asked me what side I wanted the color fans, since it had different colors, asked if I wanted to keep my old pull chains, which I did. Very professional, as a courtesy to me, I asked them to speak in English, definitely took them by surprise, since they both laughed and said yes they will! I guess no one ever asked them that before, but they easily complied. They made sure the fans worked before collecting up their tools. Working as a team, they did very well, were in and out very quickly and even hauled the old fan out to the trash for me! Will use them again if I need any electrical done. Very pleased, the new fan is plumb and runs well.

I bought a big deal for $45 or so. The job took the hour I paid for. The work, however, required 3 parts for which I was charged $370. This was outrageous. My choice was to buy the parts myself and hire another electrician to return to install them, or agree to the costs on the spot. When I researched these parts, the cost wasn't close to what they charged me. They completely 'get you' on the big deal, that isn't a Big Deal after all. It feels manipulative and deceptive, and I won't ever buy another of these 'deals' from this company. The guys who did the work were great; this isn't about them.

I spoke with them over the phone and they don't service the area I needed. She called me several times before I was able to get back with her, so they were very responsive and I appreciated that.

This is the 2nd time I have used ADI and they are excellent. Not only are they prompt they called to ask if they could come almost 2 hours early if it was convenient for me. It was and I was thrilled. Henry and Louis ( who I had before ) were waiting for me when I got home and they finished the job in under an hour. They were neat and cleaned up everything. They walked me through their work at the end and showed me that all the plugs worked. They are very nice, efficient and clean. I would highly recommend them.

Vendor called me the following date after I made the purchase. They told me I need to get a meter spot from the city to come out. I called the city requesting the meter spotter, per discussion with the city, my property no longer allows for over-the-air passing of power and I need to get power from underground, additionally the city will not be performing any underground construction to get me the power until after 2015. As a result, I don't need this voucher any more and would like to get a refund for it.

My experience with ADI was over 8 months ago so this review is long overdue. They were very professional, there was a miscommunication in regards to scheduling but it was taken care of promptly and left me quite impressed. They actually had to wait for me to get there almost an hour and even though I told them we can reschedule they insisted on waiting since the mishap was from their end. They were very professional , worked quickly (unlike other company's that take their time and charge extra) they also covered everything and were very mindful of my belongings. I would definitely use them again AND refer them to friends and family . Thank you ADI .... A++++

They were great. Installers came and did a good job. We would hire again without hesitation.

Company never contacted me.. I had called and left name, project, and phone number. Paypal cleared the $99.00 payment. Company phone goes to message. Great. Two guys came. It was $100 for one hour of labor for both guys. One guy installed the bathroom fan, and the other guy fixed an outdoor light as well as advised me on another bathroom fan to have replaced.

Arrived at 8am sharp! (Window was 8-10) Loved the punctuality. 2 electricians - very clean and pleasant. Covered all rooms completely in plastic and cleaned up after the job. The electricians kept me updated during the job and installed all 3 fans in an appropriate time frame. I would definitely use this company again. Excellent scheduling and communication and excellent service.

They arrived and introduced themselves and asked what I needed to be done. I handed them the light we had purchased and they went to work installing it. When they were done they explained in detail how the light would work. They also explained how we could adjust it, if we didn't like the original settings.

The deal details were not what I expected; it was to replace an existing fan, not install a new one. The customer service rep was very nice and helpful on the phone; I would use this company again.

My house is too far away from where I want the box put in.

It was OK and average, didn't feel like I got my moneys worth from the Bid Deal.

Everything was great. Really great. Thanks Ariel. It's going to take some patience waiting for an appointment if you need an estimate. Sometimes I read reviews and these businesses get bad ratings for making people wait. They are busy and they don't subcontract- that means their people do your work. That means quality. That also means, we have to wait for them to do another job before they can get to us! Another point, I was concerned when I read reviews on deals that weren't working for people. We have to read the fine print. Many of the deals have exclusions etc. Ex my recessed lights in the living room were on a 20 ft sloped ceiling, I could not use the deal so I did not buy it. So, I scheduled my estimate and due to my work limitations, it took over a week. Ariel accommodated me and came on over. We discussed my projects and ideas and he confirmed my plan and added his advise based on experience. He sent me his on-site quote from his ipad and away we went. I had other quotes- from great people- but his were by far the best. I also chose Ariel and ADI because of his customer service, experience and credentials. Another company offering a "deal" came for an estimate and I was turned off by the lack of professionalism. Yet another wasn't able to assure my floors were to be protected. ADI met the expectations. Ariel scheduled me on a weekend which totally helped because of my work schedule. Someone calls the day before to confirm. They came RIGHT ON TIME even though they had a window. They built scaffolding under the supervision of Sam and the 2 workers were awesome. Professional, non-intrusive and did a nice job. This was a BIG job and was not cheap so I wanted the right people and the work looks amazing. Very classy. I will have them do my bedroom lighting in the near future. Thanks Angies List!

Old fan had stopped working. purchased $179 deal on Angie's List. Took about 3 weeks before they could come out to do the work. Understandable given the demand. Also, they did call when an earlier appointment opened up, but it didn't work out with my schedule. After installation, the fan was great. Quieter than the old fan and comparable power. But after a couple of days I noticed a rattling sound that gradually got worse. The motor of the fan itself isn't loud but seems like maybe a fastener was left out (or came loose) and two sheets of metal are tapping each other whenever the fan is on. Not horribly loud, but definitely annoying.
