ADI Electrical

Everything was fine. This was a one-hour service and I didn't call until after the promo period but they very nicely honored it anyway. The guy they sent was fine and did a good install. This was a very small job. I have no idea how they'd be on something big.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, so the lead time for scheduling was a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the local power company took down power on the scheduled install day, so had to reschedule - with a 5 week lead time due to Big Deal. The electricians did a great job, arriving promptly, behaving courteously and providing quality work.

They did a great job Very happy with their service and workmanship.

They were supposed to do a full house check up and that was not done. My elderly mother had to keep on showing the man outlets that he missed. When told to him that most of the houses electrical outlets to not hold a plug in them and plugs constantly fall out he told my mother that he does not fix that problem. Then he said he would fix the poor outlets; however, none of them got fixed. Very dissatisfied!

He never even came out we just talked through email but redeemed the $55 without doing ANY work so now i may not be able to get my money back.

They are good and honest. The person came and checked but never returned my phone call the next day

Excellent. On time, in and out, great work. The scheduler was always on top of the appt.

Contact person came, assessed work, then his workers came. Appeared at first glance to do the job well. However afterwards I found stains on the piano stool that never came out and a blob of plaster on a rug. To their credit they did cover the piano, but they didn't cover the other things or at any rate the stains remain. I really do think the two jobs that were done could be done at least as well at a much lower price.

Two guys showed up in an old sedan with no uniforms and no ADI markings of any kind. It took two months to schedule the date, and they recommended that I purchase hardware in advance to keep price low. I was under the understanding that they would contact me when they were leaving the previous job, but they contacted me when they arrived (I was at work), so the meter was running and lost valuable time...long story but the equipment I bought was wrong and they wanted to charge 4x vs home depot and I ended up sending them away without the work being done and ate the cost of equipment to boot.

They were prompt, courteous, and did a terrific job. Installed 4 light fixtures all in under an hour. Nice guys - good job!

When I purchased the deal it was to have ADI to set up an electrical switch that would turn on and off a plug. When I scheduled the office person told me that would be fine and they can get that job done within the hour. She instructed me what to purchase at Home Depot, which I did. When the electrican arrived he told me that the project would take longer than an hour and that I would need an actual bid to be provided before work coudl be done. Had they told me over the phone that it would be involved I would have had someone else do the work. Because of the size of the work they said needed to be done the cost jumped dramatically.

We are very happy with them. They had three worker. They were very good. They left the area nice and clean. It took them about four hours to finish the work.

Knew exactly what to do. They were done in very quickly and even instructed me how to fix the light fixtures if I had the same problem again. Very nice guys.

It was great! they upgraded me to LED lights.

It was okay. They were busy and it was tough to get scheduled -- but when they came out, they worked quickly. The company sent 2 techs and they installed an outdoor outlet in a half hour.

I explained the problem and told them that my husband felt there was a loose or faulty connection in one of the outlets. They did not look at anything. They told me that the refrigerator and the microwave were drawing too much power and that was the problem. I explained that I had had this arrangement in the kitchen for 16 years without and problem and asked if this were the case then why wasn't the circuit breaker tripping? They gave me some lame reasoning that made no sense even to me...and I know very little about electricity. I don't believe these guys were licensed electricians....they knew nothing. I called another electrician the next day (Fasco) who diagnosed and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. The problem was a loose wire in one of the outlets which was starting to burn!!!!!!!! It could have caused a fire and ADI wouldn't even look at it. These guys are incompetent.....use them at your own risk.

Took a long time to schedule the work. My appt was about a month out. Once they got there they did a good job. Customer service lady was nice and helpful with calling me for updates on scheduling.

I can honestly say that this has been one of the best experiences I have had with a home improvement service provider. I was very impressed with how they as a matter of course, automatically cleaned up after themselves at each step of the process and at the end of the day. Each day they would start by covering everything everything again & repeating the process. At first I thought it was wasteful but then realized by doing this we did not have to walk on plastic or track bits of grim all over the house. I never had to remind them to clean up. The next thing I really appreciated about Louis & Henry (the 2 men who did the work) was their knowledge and willingness to explain everything to me; in advance, during, & after doing each step of the way. They were patient with and very accommodating; they put the outlets where I wanted them and did many extras for me, like installing 3 extra lights after the new wiring was installed. They even installed a ceiling fan/heater/light in the bathroom which required outside venting. They tested & labeled all the circuit breakers. Additionally, they took extra care not to damage the tile, mirrors, and the special outdoor energy saving house treatment by taking the more arduous route to accomplish their goal. Their friendly manner, concern, willingness to go the extra mile & professionalism will be remembered with fondness and gratitude for a long time to come. Ariel, the contractor that set up the work & sent the workers was also very good. He told me exactly what to expect, how long it would take & offered to do some extra things from the start. There was obvious good communication between he and the workers. I'm not sure, but it appears that the company ADI Electrical Services, has a very good training program in customer relations. As you can see I am very impressed with this company and it's employees & would highly recommend them without reservation.

That was great. It took them about 30 minutes. I had to purchase the charger. I know it ended up costing me about a $1000 because the charger itself is very expensive. They did a good job. They came out, did it and left. It was easy.

Brought two people for one hour but one seemed like a student/apprentice. They asked to use one of my husbands tools, were unable to figure out the problem I had requested them to figure out, and left after their time was up. I was told they would send an email of their work and some possible suggestions after they talked to their boss, but they didn't follow through and I got busy and didn't call them back to complain. Overall they did the light well and quickly, but were unable to troubleshoot.

After purchasing this deal and checking with the department of water and power, an electrical panel upgrade requires much more than was specified in this deal as I live in a townhouse. The gentleman that I spoke to with ADI was a little difficult to understand, but overall they were nice and understanding.

I'm satisfied with the work. Workers were prompt, polite and professional. Cleaned up after themselves and we're sure to keep me informed about the extra charges before they did the extra work. I've seen folks complain about not being contacted. I was confused at first as I was under the impression that they would call me. They actually sent me a message at the Angie site directing me to call them. I was in no hurry so the fact that I had to wait a couple of weeks for the service didn't bother me.

We purchased a DEAL $89 for two hours service (2 men/1 hour). We needed 6 light switches replaced. One switch had a wiring problem. Two guys came and diagnosed the problem with the faulty switch, fixed the wiring and replaced the 6 switches. They advised that our 60+ year old house be rewired. The work was done in a little less than an hour. They were efficient, did clean work, friendly and professional. We would use them again. Note: the office staff recommended that we purchase the switches in advance as ADI charges about $45/switch. We paid $7-9 per switch.

That went fine. I didn't spend anything extra, they weren't here that long and there wasn't that much to do. 2 workers came out. They left the area fine. They were prompt and I don't remember any bad things about them and they were very fast. I purchased the switches and plugs on my own so all thy had to do was install them.

They left big holes in the wall during the intalation of the out door plug outlet and the instalation is covered in electrical tap that doesn't look professional. The porch light still doesnt work at all and they shorted out the light sensor when electric arced when the ground cabel touched the live cord. This cannot be repaired and now I have to buy a new fixture. The double switch that they installed was the wrong kind so it didnt work correctly and the switch plate cover was too small and left a gap . I called a new electricial company and they fixed everything and refered to the previous work as a "hit and run job" This was a $49. special and they charged me $160.00 and I paid another $150. to the company that corrected their mistakes. And $100. to replace the poarch light that they fried.
