Both times I was able to schedule the tech to come over on a short notice and at the time comfortable to me. Both issues were fixed from the first visit and the technician didn't leave any mess after himself.

My washing machine was dead on a Sunday, and we needed it back online ASAP as we have two small children. I called Relaxed Heating and Air and left a voicemail. They called me back and were at my house on Monday before noon! Danny was very professional and courteous. He fixed the problem and left the place clean. I was very impressed! A couple of weeks later when my AC started to make weird noises I called them again. They troubleshooted with me over the phone and didn't charge anything! 5 star! I would recommend and use them again.

This company has been recommended to me by my friend. I have been using them for my residence, rental property, and business for few years now. They are always on time, very professional and honest. They always explain all possible options. Technicians are very knowledgeable. Great customer service. Strongly recommend this company!

These guys were extremely helpful in completing the work. They worked directly with my tenant, and went out of their to arrange a time that was convenient for my tenant. I did't need to micro manage, they provided me with updates regularly. Didn't up sell anything. Came in, got the job done, followed up twice to make sure everything was working. Great service. Would definitely use again, and would recommend to anyone

After I had 2 other co's to the house. Both said I need a new system. I called relaxed just to compare prices, they came gave a price for a new system which was lower then the other guys. But said that it was only if I wanted to upgrade, because all I needed was a new filter. They replaced it everything works great. When i do want to upgrade, i will use them.

The first time they replaced the gas valve. I'm very unhappy with them. They came out, we explained to them the problem. They came out and made this fix. What was happening was every time it would rain, our heating and air would not work again for during when it would rain and two days after. Water would leak down through our return. They made this fix and after this fix we still had all these problems. Our heating and air wouldn't come on for two days and water would still leak down. We talked to the supervisor and he gave us a discount on the next repair. We said the last repair was supposed to fix this and he said this was something completely different that's wrong and the other thing needed to be fixed anyway. So, we trusted him. So, they came out and they made this other repair and now the heating and air does work when it rains but water was still dripping down. That never got resolved. We weren't interested in giving them anymore money. I couldn't even get them to send me an invoice for the first repair they did. When the guy came out he said he didn't have anything to give me a receipt or anything. I called twice to have one sent out to me. They say they do it and they don't. I would never, ever use them again. They were extremely late, two hours after my scheduled appointment time.

My heater was working off and on, called my home warranty company. Relaxed air came out twice. The first time, the heater worked, so they left. The heater was not working right the next day. I called again, they came out on a Saturday. I explained what was wrong. They did not charge me again (per my contract with home warranty). They had to order parts after they looked at the heater unit again. I had to pay more for the parts; (part of the home warranty contract). They came out and fixed the unit and it has worked with no problems since.

TERRIBLE COMPANY. STAY FAR AWAY. They will waste your time and patience.

I have American Home Shield, a terrific home repair service, and they contracted out Relaxed Heating and Air super fast, right in the middle of a mini-heat wave. My technician Rick was polite and helpful, showing me what to do if air-conditioner makes my breakers trip. He thoroughly cleaned the unit, which now cools the best since we've moved into our home!

I found the whole experience frustrating.

The technician came to the house, determined the problem, told me there were four issues with my central heating/ac unit, took my $75 (my home warranty deductible), assured me they had the parts needed to repair the unit and only needed the warranty company to authorize the payment, and then he left. I called them the next morning and they assured me that all they had to do was submit the estimate and they would call me by the end of the day... of course they didn't. I called them back again, and the woman who I spoke with told me they hadn't submitted the estimate yet, and so I asked when they would be submitting the estimate, she responded that they had to see if parts were available and if they weren't and needed to be ordered, they would need to" research" how much the parts would cost. As of this moment, I have no heat and no idea as to when the work will be performed. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They just don't care. Stay away from them.

When our floor heater stopped working, our insurance company sent this contractor to our home on dec 20 to review the problem. On dec 27 we called them about submitting an estimate. they assured us they wud submit that day. we called on dec 29, and they said they wud submit immediately. after numerous fone calls to them and insurance company, the estimate was finally submitted on 07jan. This contractor claimed that the gas lines need to be moved at an out-of-pocket expense of $970. we hired a local contractor on the same day...the heater was fixed on jan 14 for $600 and there was no need to move the gas lines. either this company is extremely incompetent or tries to pad the bill. now trying to get out-of-network reimbursement from insurance company. what a nightmare! kudos to aaa calvert electrical in long beach for their attentive and honest service.

We were referred to them via our home warranty company to install a new heat pump after our current one was deemed unfixable. Relaxed told us the installation would be done in one hour. It took two days. Then it made a loud clanking sound that disturbed our upstairs neighbor. Relaxed claimed it wasn't making any sounds. Then Relaxed told us they'd schedule the required HERS and duct test inspections for us and that it would cost us $550. We told them we'd no longer trusted them and would hire our own certified HERS inspector. Our inspector told us that we didn't even need a duct test, because that was not a legal requirement in our area. He only charged us $275 for the one test. The new unit failed the test, because Relaxed hadn't put enough refrigerant in our unit. In addition, the unit stopped working for several hours one day (we found out later this was also due to the lack of refrigerant) and when we called Relaxed the company never returned that phone call. When the HERS inspector contacted Relaxed, Relaxed finally came back out and put more refrigerant in the unit. Then we called the building inspector for the final city sign off. The unit failed that test, because Relaxed had failed to secure the unit to the roof for earthquake safety, as is required by law. We then hired a different company to finish the job. That company said Relaxed also did not secure the freon line correctly. To top it all off, Relaxed lost one of the screws to our blower compartment and tried to pocket the $250 courtesy credit our home warranty company had given us due to all of the delays and misdiagnoses in fixing the unit. (After several days of arguing with them over the phone, Relaxed finally did admit that the $250 from our home warranty company was to be taken off of our final bill.)

He recommended to upgrade the furnace when I can but that it actually was working just fine for an old unit. He didn't try to sell me anything and said to talk with the office if I wanted a quote. I don't know anything else about the company but this was my experience. I will update it if the problem reoccurs.I would use Relaxed again if I could get the same technician as he seemed to be honest, professional and wanting to make sure my system worked the best that it could.

We had a broken air conditioner and called this company. They responded fast and came at the time they said they would. They went through everything and found that the compressor was broken. After that my home insurance company accepted the work that they were doing. They came back when the piece was ready and installed everything. They made sure everything was done. After that I went to review the work that he did outside on my air conditioner then we came inside to check it out with the thermostat; checking the temperature in our ducts. I believe they did a great job and am so happy with what they did.

Technician had an edge to him right away. I asked him to place his ladder away from the raingutters and he barked back that he doesn't jeopardize his safety. I waited until he was on the roof then I proceeded up. He barked that I couldn't come up there! I said, do you mean I can't use your ladder? He said yes. So, I went and got my ladder. As I approached the top of my ladder he said I couldn't come up on the roof. I advised him it is my roof and my ladder. He said he doesn't like working with people watching him. I told him I have a policy that I am on the roof if anyone else is up there and I watch the work being done. He said he's not comfortable and that I might try to learn his trade if I watch him! He said he would leave the job if I came up on the roof. So he left. His manager first said his tech was touchy. He asked me to clarify that I was using my own ladder; I said yes. Then he said it's a liablity issue for them... then he said it was their company policy that owners are not allowed on the roof during their work. I asked him to send out another tech but he wouldn't. I've had dozens of vendors and A/C techs on my roofs in the past ten years and this is the first time ever anyone had an issue. I don't trust people who don't want you to watch them work.

I called this company on Friday they send me a tech on saturday, when no one else will even answer the phone. Tech checked the problem and game me an estimate. The estimate was kind of high. When i asked for a discount the tech automatically said ok first time cusomer discount. The price was right the job was done right away. Very nice and friendly.

I had this company sent out via American Home Shield, a home warranty company. The tech was within the (rather large) arrival window and he was friendly enough. My AC on my new house didn't turn on, so we wandered around looking at it inside and outside. He was super duper friendly, right up until he lied on the report to the home warranty company, saying the unit was run without a filter. I had explicitly told him I had never seen the unit run, and he explicitly said he wasn't going up on a ladder to look in the ducts. So how did he know this? He also wrote that the AC unit was physically damaged. I may not know how to work on AC units, but the unit I inherited with this house is in very good shape. The "damage" is absolutely minimal. The third thing he wrote was the unit had dog urine on it. Yes, my compressor stopped working because a dog peed on the unit. Gee, thanks guy. In fact the broken compressor was essentially the *only* useful information I got out of this company. He wouldn't give me a ballpark estimate of what repairs would cost (not sure if he was allowed to), but when I pressed him on the details of what was really wrong beyond the compressor, he sounded a lot like he didn't know. He was very evasive, like he just wanted to get out of there. I guess the tech gets points for being nice. He was really nice as I handed him the $60 check for wandering around my home and writing nonsense on a piece of paper for all of 20 minutes. I wasn't the slightest bit surprised when I noticed the company address was a PO box.
