R & C Tree Co

We had a 60' tall eucalyptus tree with 3 major trunks, one night a third of the tree just fell off. An arborist told us the tree was diseased and should come down. R & C, came out to give us an estimate the next day. I got several bids from highly recommended companies. R & C was about half the price of all other bids. the big difference was that all others said they would need a crane due to the height of the tree. R & C would do it the traditional way by climbing the tree. Made an appointment for a couple of days later, they came exactly on time, did a fantastic job. Cut up several branches for me for firewood, as they cut up the trunk they even cut me several slabs for tables on my porch (all of this at no extra charge). They were done quickly and they cleaned up the mess so well that the only way you could tell they had been there was the tree was gone. They gave me the phone number of the public utilities location service so that I could call to locate buried utilities near the stump (all the other companies made this free service part of their package for anywhere from $100 to $300). Utilities came out a few days later, we made another appointment with R & C. Once again, quick & punctual, they ground up the stump, cleaned up, and gone. Great guys, they talked to the kids in the neighborhood explaining how they worked, let people take pictures, gave away firewood, One of my neighbors had some cut brush and they thew it in the chipper for no charge. I couldn't possibly recommend them more highly.

It went very well. The trees and bushes were very well trimmed, and the workers were careful to move my outdoor furniture and potted plants out of the way. They even brought large boards to put in front of my windows to protect them from being scratched as they hauled the branches away--something that none of the other tree services I've used in the past ever did.
