+ -1 moreBRIAN, THE OWNER, MIS-REPRESENTED THE SCOPE AND LEVEL OF SERVICE THAT HE AND HIS TEAM COULD PROVIDE. WHILE ALL OF MY THINGS WERE DELIVERED CAREFULLY, HE HAD INDICATED THAT THEY WOULD PROVIDE A COMPLETE UNPACK AND BASICALLY I COULD EXPECT, AND I QUOTE, 'A MINT ON MY PILLOW.' THE UNPACK WAS ABOUT 15%. THEY LEFT ALL THE REAL WORK TO A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL, AND THE PROCESS TOOK 2 DAYS LONGER THAN INDICATED AND WAS STILL NOT TO MY EXPECTATIONS. I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS CUSTOMARY TO TIP. IT WAS CLEAR THAT HE EXPECTED TO SHARE IN THIS, DESPITE OWNING THE COMPANY, WHICH I FELT WAS RUDE CONSIDERING THEY HAD NOT PROVIDED THE SERVICE HE HAD PROMISED. I TIPPED HIS TEAM DIRECTLY AS I DID NOT FEEL IT WAS THEIR FAULT THAT BRIAN HAD BEEN UNTRUTHFUL. I DO NOT MIND PAYING A FAIR PRICE FOR GOOD SERVICE. I DO MIND BEING OVER-SOLD!
Description of Work: COMPANY MOVED ME FROM WEST LA TOWNHOUSE TO THE VALLEY. PROVIDED WRAPPING MATERIALS. PACKED AND DELIVERED FURNITURE. THE PRICE LISTED INCLUDES THE COST OF THE 'ORGANIZER' WHO, IT TURNS OUT, WAS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL UNPACKING.
