He did a good job. The price was reasonable, he arrived on time and did a quality job. He did the work in just days. He is willing to come back to touch up any problem area to ensure customer service.

Due to problems with the City and our permit/inspection, we had to keep delaying our start date with Javier. He was very understanding and accommodating. We have tried to do drywall ourselves, and understand how hard it is and can really appreciate how good the work is that Javier and his crew do.

They did a great job. Took them about four hours, and they left our house as clean as they found it. They also fixed a particularly bad patch of stucco work done by the previous owner that was in the same area, which was not a part of the original quote and was in my opinion, going one step above and beyond. Javier and his crew (two very nice guys who reminded me once again why I need to learn Spanish) will be back in two weeks to do another $1500.00 work to our home. Javier came out to give me a quote the same day that I called him, and was also quick to return phone calls. And compared to the other quote we had done for this work, Javier was almost absurdly cheap (or the other guy was really trying to take me for a ride). Either way, my husband and I are very happy to have found this WDX and will be using their services anytime we need drywall or stucco work.

Javier was very responsive, professional, and punctual. The work was completed in one day by Javier and two other workers. When the final inspection was done by the DWP, they stepped on my rain gutter causing the cover of the telephone wires to pull out of the wall. Javier repaired this at no extra charge, even though it wasn't his fault. I was very happy with his work.

Javier Mejia, the owner of WXD Drywall, showed up right on time for the estimate, which was done on a Friday night at 6:00 p.m. September 5, 2008. He gave us an estimate of $500 to replace the drywall in both the garage and the cabinet upstairs. He offered to do the job the very next day, Saturday, September 6, 2008, and we agreed. The work was impeccable, and blended perfectly with the original drywall. Their job was very professional and we are very happy with the results. The $500 they charged was reasonable for the work done. We would not hesitate to use them again.

They did great work and were punctual and professional. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The work was great. Carlos and his team were professional and thorough. We've gotten compliments on the work that was done.

It went very well. Javier came for the estimate on time, he was quick and professional. Much lower than my other estimate. We were able to schedule the work in a couple of days. He and his team arrived as promised and completed the work promptly and according to the estimate. They cleaned up after themselves as well. I was completely satisfied.

Javier arrived on time. The job was excellent and he came the next day to complete the painting job. He also fixed a few surrounding wall areas which had some nicks.

This is the third job done for us by WXD. They arrived on time, repaired the cracks in our drywall and repainted the area to match the existing walls. Their work is always done with attention to detail. They don't get paint on floors or carpet, and they clean up nicely. We probably overpaid for this job, compared to our first two with WXD, but they did everything they promised to do for the price quoted. If we overpaid, it was our fault, not theirs. I think the job just took less time than expected.

Javier was exceptional. He came by on a Sunday afternoon to meet our scheduling needs and completed the work less than a week later. His quote was very competitive, and the quality of work was quite good, not to mention completed per the quote and schedule promised. Overall the price came in 10% less than another company, and about 35% less than a third co. My only complaint was the bathroom with the drywall patch could have been better draped or cleaned better. However, this minor issue will not prevent me from hiring Javier and his crew to complete the drywall work in my kitchen.

Javier always show up at the day and sometimes few minutes late which is OK. The job was completed on the agreed scheduled day.

It went very well. It was a time consuming procedure with lots of sanding. It took a few days, but the workers would clean up before they left each day, so that we could use our kitchen. They went far beyond what we asked them to do at no extra cost. We are very pleased and plan on using them again for another project we have.

Javier and an employee arrived on time, and after a courteous and professional greeting, went straight to work. They repaired four walls in four different rooms where drywall had been cut out for plumbing work. They then textured their patches to match the existing heavy texture on the surrounding walls. And they matched the texture perfectly! It really looks as if the walls had never been disturbed. I'm very satisfied with their work. And they finished quickly, and cleaned up thoroughly, which was a bonus.

Excellent work! They wanted to start work the very next day but I was not ready. I scheduled for a few days later and they showed up on time 8 am. He said he would have everything done in one day which I doubted but they were out the door by 3PM. They matched both the drywall texture as well as the outdoor stucco texture perfectly. They left no mess and took all the trash with them.

Very well. Very courteous and punctual. Work was done quickly. Painted room afterwards and only charged me for 3 walls instead of for 4 walls and a ceiling they accidentally partially painted. Did a great job with the painting also in my opinion.

Company Rep provided us with a price for the work and offered us an "Angie's list" discount. When contract arrived the discount was not included. The Rep also required 50% downpayment which is illegal according to Contract Law. Rep did not want to include discount in the written documents. When pressed stated, that "we wanted to go all legal" and our job was too small. We made the decision to look elsewhere for drywall work.

Ciro, who is the owner's partner and cousin, is my contact at the company. When the owner was out of town he had put Ciro in touch on a previous job (a one wall rebuild) so he remains my contact at this company. Ciro is a very nice man and there is no denying that this company does a remarkable drywall job. Our kitchen looks as new and it's shocking to see the transformations. However, what was initially estimated as a 3 - 4 day job extended to 7 days because of other jobs Ciro had running concurrently. I also own my own business and I do understand shifting and juggling deadlines, however he would tell me they'd be there at 9 and show up at 11 or on two occasions didn't even come at all. I was only told after I phoned Ciro repeatedly to see when they were coming. I work from home so this is somewhat ok but it's also very frustrating to wait for someone you are paying and they don't come as they promise. I don't enjoy chasing down people hired to do a job.

I wouldn't recommend him based on that he didn't write anything down and he didn't send us an estimate.

Very well, Javier is a real pro. Usually I do my own drywall but I needed to make up some time on this project. Javier called promptly, and was always on time. The job was nearly complete within 72 hours of my estimate. He also skim coated the entire room without me requesting it, a MUCH better finish than I expected. He also came back a week later to true some uneven spots beneath the cabinets. I consider his price a bit expensive (around $3 per square foot) but the work was top notch.

They did the job well and the quality of the work was good. They were on time and were open to our suggestions. They were responsible and the price was reasonable as well.

His crew was very nice. It did not take very long at all for them to complete. I felt the price was very fair for the job since they did more than just drywall. They cleaned up the wallpaper mess. The wall they worked on is smooth and even.

On time for bid and made a competitive offer. On time for the job and finished when he said it would be done. Very good quality of work.

Once I called Javier, he came at the agreed upon time and finished the project at the agreed upon time. They did a wonderful job. You would have never known that there was ever any damage. It looks brand new again.

Half way into my kitchen remodel, my General Contractor started finding all this "extra stuff" he needed to charge me for and drywall was one of the items. I told him I was going to get two other estimates because his price quote was too high. I called Javier and one other person. Javier was professional, on time and gave me a very fair price which was HALF of what my contractor wanted to charge me. Javier took care of everything and never made a big deal about little things that came up. My electricians made a few extra holes in the wall during the wiring and Javier never came back and asked me for more money-he just took care of it. He is very fair and did a really nice job on the work. I would like to hire him when I have my bathrooms torn out down the line.
