They were really good. They were professional and did a neat job. They came on time and they were good. I will use them again. They were very reasonable.

They were very informative, and explained everything. They also did a small area that was extra, but they did it anyway!

They did everything quickly, efficiently and cleaned up after themselves and were incredibly reasonable. I was very impressed. For any future drywall/stucco jobs I may have, Carlos is the only call I'll be making!

Great service at a great price!

We had a small glitch when the painter didnt realize he wasn't supposed to repair other walls which ended up in the repainting of the entire wall. Carlos (Javier) was quick to offer a resolution for a fair price and I felt that he was quite professional and took care to make sure I was happy with the results. I would say the only suggestion I have is to ensure accurate communication between Carlos (Javier) with the guys doing the job. There are so many details that it's worth the extra effort.

I called Carlos from WXD the day my insulation project started. Carlos responded the same day, evaluated the work to be done, emailed an invoice as requested, and sent out a guy to work on completing the laundry room project by the next day. The drywall crew moved all appliances (washer/dryer) and completed all tasks as requested. Since I had used WXD Drywall previously, I had no problem trusting them to be in the house while I worked. Carlos came to the house several times during the day to check on the progress and supply his crew with needed items. After the work was completed by the insulation crew (Progressive Insulation and Windows), Carlos assigned more of his crew to start repairing many of the interior/exterior walls. The crew was great at limiting the mess made and spent a significant amount of time with preparation (covering furniture, floors, etc.). The crew worked for 2 days and even added another day to make sure everything was completed perfectly. The last day of work including much painting as they were able to color match all the painted walls. Thanks again Carlos and crew!

They did a great job. The only problem was that the crew manager was not available for questions. Sometimes the crew was unsure what the plan of work was, due to a lack of supervision. They did do a very good job on the drywall. I thought there would be a more informed supervisor for the job. We did have to call them back to clean up after the work, as there was some drywall debris left but they did take care of it and made sure we were satisfied before they left. I felt the crew boss may have had a lot of jobs going as he was not accessible. We made sure to review with the crew each day the work to be done to make sure there wasn't any work done that didn't need to be done, as they may have did incorrect work if we weren't there to clarify. In the end, they did a good job.

I was semi concerned about hiring a drywall contractor for this, but a significant amount of the work required was drywall which on such a large surface can really show if it's poorly done. I was also concerned about my hardwood floors, however they did a fantastic job of isolating the work area from the rest of the house and well protected my floor. Ultimately I was very happy with the quality of work done, I would highly recommend them.

*UPDATE* After moving into our new place, we hired WXD to patch a large hole (4' x 4') in our ceiling due to an unexpected leak. The worker finished it in 3 hours by himself! We were quoted a two day job with the contracting service that our homeowners insurance initially provided us with, but chose to work with WXD again since they are so dependable.

He called me back 2 days later and said they were too busy since they were working in Beverly Hills. So they couldn't be bothered to even give me an estimate. That is the price of being a AL allstar. Smaller jobs are no longer needed, appreciated, or evening estimated on. That is what truly happened. I am going to take a screenshot of this since I don't believe AL will post it. That way I have a record of it. Professinalism = F. They are now an AL POH and since they are big they can't be wasting their time on smaller jobs. If you can't service my area = Newport Beach. Then don't post that you service this area. Also, have the professionalism to give me an estimate. This was handle in a very unprofessional manner.

They were too busy and told me that their boss was out. I waited for 2 weeks and then they came out and said that they would not be able to do the work for me.

Everything went great. On time. Work done right. I couldn't ask for more.

Javier and his team were great. They were quick to respond and did a wonderful job. They said that the job would take 3 days and they were right on time. After each day, they cleaned up very well and were back the next morning at 8am as promised. I would definitely hire WXD again for any job, big or small.

Due to a plumbing issue that occurred in the bathroom, our shower wall needed to be cut open to do the repair work. I contacted WXD Drywall to seal the opening. Once Javier took a look at the entire bathroom he let me know that his company could strip the wallpaper off the walls (entire bathroom, walls and ceiling were covered) and repaint the whole room for us along with the repair of the drywall. Javier thought he could do the entire bathroom in 3 days, but due to us expanding his work load it took 6. We first just needed the walls stripped, the drywall repaired. Then we asked if he could also install a heater/fan/light combo and said yes. One thing led to another to increase the job time.

They worked 3 days on the job, 8am - 4:30pm, were always punctual, never late. Nice crew. They covered the furniture and left the place clean and tidy - no mess. They matched all to existing beautifully. The cost of the job (same as the estimate given by Javier) was competitive and very reasonable for the work involved (and we got several other estimates). We could not have chosen a better company. We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again. They are definitely a 5 star+ and get an A+++,and they are licensed, bonded and insured.

Keeping it brief, they do everything I ask them to do and usually much more. As they work, I always come up with new ideas of slight changes to what I need and Javier and his guys take care of it with a smile. They are in the process of finishing the third project I have asked them to do and everything has exceeded my expectations, as usual. I feel bad that I have not written a review until now.

I did like him. He was very professional doing a small job like that. I have kept his card so that when I need more work done I am going to use him again. He was on time. He showed on the day he had to, as for the time I was not here when he turned up for work and he is a good person. I would recommend him to others. Price wise I found him fair enough. I did not shop around. He was very responsive. He picked up his phone right away.

The drywall damage was repaired and still looks brand new. This was somewhat of a difficult job because most of the damage was on the ceiling. I was satisfied with the work and would gladly use their service again.

The guy who came out was fine. He was very responsive and did a very good job. He didn't clean up as well as I would have want. He was very polite and responsive. He was very good. He returned my calls. He would let us know if he was going to be late. The only negative was that he could have cleaned up a little better in the bathroom. However, it wasn't that big a negative. His price seemed expensive and I don't have anything to compare it with. The quality of the work was fine. I don't know enough about it to know if he necessarily had to build out that wall a little bit or not. He told me it was going to be a little thicker in there since he decreased the size of the well. I guess it was necessary. What was good about the punctuality is that I don't know if anyone is ever always on time, but he would call in. He said he would take 3 days to do the work, but he was out here for 4 or 5 because he didn't come out a couple of days. When he said 3 days, he meant 3 working days.

He did an excellent job but he was late in the morning and returning in the afternoon. He left one of his guy, who was waiting.

Javier has a talent to be able to give you how much the job will cost during the estimate. Then he emails you the next day with the a well written estimate. His employees are very talented and very respectful. He just took a few days longer than he said but it was not a problem for the quality and clean up that they performed. I will use him again. Javier and his team did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a job done that is at the top of his field.

The job was very good. I am very happy with their job and quality of work. Their price was fair. The guy was punctual and very conscientious in his work. He made sure that he covered everything in the bathroom before he started. He kept things clean and did everything I asked. I would tell others to give him a chance because he is a good person to hire. I would use him in the future too.

I love WXD Drywall. We have used them multiple times. They are very neat and tidy; they clean up well after themselves. They are very meticulous. They pay a lot of attention to detail and that is why I continue to go back to them. They quote you a price and that's what the work ends up costing after it is finished, they don't add on costs later. I can't recommend a company more highly then WXD.

We had water damage in the downstairs bathroom where the walls were damaged in the bathroom and the hallway. The wood finish is original to our house and he repaired and replace the wood finish. Because of the ratings on Angie's list we called Javier and didn't know where Winetka was but after we called he was there immediately as scheduled, completed the work as promised and we are now going to hire him again for the kitchen ceiling.
