My heater stopped working on a Friday morning. I was worried because I was planning on babysitting the grandchildren for the night and did not want it to be too cold for them. I called Leland Plumbing heating and cooling in Windsor, CA. They have serviced my heater in years past and always did a great job. They called back and said they would stop by at the end of the day. I was so thankful. I was still worried that it will be a major fix because my house furnace is almost 30 years old but hoping it would be a small fix not a new furnace. I went to home depot and bought a new electric heater just in case and started warming up the house. It turned out to be only the wall temp control unit and also a electrical part in the furnace. It was so kind of them to stop by here and fix my problem at the end of a Friday so I would not be without a heater for the weekend. I will always continue to use this business. Wonderful service provided by courteous, professional, and knowledgeable technician on a weekend when the temperature was in the high 90's. Had a houseful of guests, and it was such a relief to finally get the air conditioner working again. We were very impressed by the job done, the cost of the service, and the end result.

Their price was good and the quality is great. The only thing that was a bummer was that they didn't put in the same color that I had before. But that wasn't their fault because they don't make them in the color I wanted anymore. I even recommended them to my friend who is really difficult, they worked with her and did everything to please her. They are nice people.

They have great prices and they do a good job. I mean they are also 'A's all the way down. I had contacted other contractors, but they are like half their price and they did an excellent work. They are very responsive and if you are ever, you know, not happy with something they take care of it.

Responsiveness: initial response time to my first inquiry, and turnaround time from the date I placed the order to the date the work was performed, was very reasonable. Pricing: The price was competitive. What I liked was, I didn't feel like I was getting scammed, everything was clear and straightforward. A different company ( had provided a bid that included some smoke and mirrors regarding duct testing, and how if they could upstell me from X to Y, I could avoid that. I didn't get that kind of nonsense from Leland Plumbing Heating & Cooling. Inconvenience: I ended up hanging around the house a couple of times, expecting Jeff & AJ to come work, but they were held up doing other things and didn't always check in. So I left the side door unlocked and they let themselves in. Biggest inconvenience was that the furnace installation was not completed in one day, and we were left without heat on a very chilly night, the temp outdoors went below 50. I had not understood that we would be without a furnace for one night, and we had to borrow space heaters from friends. Tidy: they did a good job cleaning up after the job was done; I appreciated the tarp that was laid in front of the entrance to the crawlspace. One small complaint: my recycling bin became filled with cardboard packaging, so I couldn't recycle my own stuff that week. Instructions: They made sure I understood how to operate the new thermostat, and gave me clear instructions about registering to activate the warranty. Local: I like supporting small local businesses, and this company fit the bill. Bonus: My cat deviously entered the crawlspace; AJ was very kind and rescued her from under the house. Overall: I would hire this company again and I would recommend them to others.

When they were called, they were so backed-up that they could not come until the next day. They called us on the day they were coming to tell us they would try and be there by noon and if not, they would call us again. Then they called and said they would be there in 15 minutes. Kept us completely informed, courteous, and professional. Best company I have worked with.
