Guy's Fencing

If you're looking for an outstanding fence builder then look no further. Guy will give you a very reasonable price and he does top notch work. (I had a few quotes for this job). He will come to the job to get it started and check on it regularly. He has high standards and it shows in the final product. We had some ideas about what we wanted and he made suggestions on aesthetics and details that he though might look better, we took his advice and we were really glad we did because our fence looks awesome. We've had lots of neighbors comment on the fence to say how much they love it. I will recommend Guys Fencing to everyone. He is Diamond certified as well and I can see why, with this quality he can easily maintain their high standards and keep that certification.

Extremely available and responsive. Worked quickly. Fencing materials could have been a higher grade. But I need to weigh that with the reasonable price. Overall, I would recommend!

We got quotes from 5 different fence companies and checked all their references. We also went to see some of their completed fences. Of all the companies, Guy Aranda had the most complete quote and had the best recommendations of those prior customers we talked to. Guy's quote was among the least expensive for the particular fence design we chose. Once we accepted their bid, they scheduled work for the following week. After a 1 day project start delay due to bad weather, the Guy and his crew arrived at the promised time to go over the work to be done. Demolition of our old fence took the first day and the fence was professionally installed over the next 5 days, for a project total of 6 days. The new fence is absolutely beautiful and we're very happy with the results.

Very well. The fence looks nice and the fence construction was prompt.

Removal of fence and setting posts went fine over a 2 day period, however, on the 3rd day no one showed up. Called owner and still don't know why. Late on 3rd day crew showed up and put in side yard boards so neighbor's side was complete except for lattice top. Next day fence was finished and it looks great.

They were very nice people to work with, and the foreman was very understanding. I would say that their work was neat but they did build it a little heavy. They used 2x8's when they could have used 2x8's. That makes the wood not look as finished.

They are good. They did what I asked them to do. I asked them to build a specific style fence and they did it. They were quick as well. The fence looks good however, the wood they used split in some places. They could get a better quality product. Their price was good. I have another quote from them.

A neighbor recommended them and they did a really nice work but the wood kind of split in a couple of pieces and I know that stuff is not their fault either. Their price was great and it could be just to where they left their wood. They are saying that they are really wood-conscious, that they buy good wood and that was the part that I was like, "Ugh" and maybe I should have gone with Cloughs. The fence is beautiful though and they did a good job. They were great, fast, very efficient, and they listen to everything I wanted because I was kind of picky and they did a really nice job on the fence. Their quote was really reasonable and they were easy to work with. It was $3500 because I had an extra gate but it was a long fence. They gave me a quote on another fence that was a 100 feet and their quote was $10,000 and the other contractor that I found in the neighborhood gave me a quote of $20,000 so their price was really different. They were licensed and everything. Wherever they got this wood, there were couple of boards that are split but I don't know where they got their wood.

Called Guy's Fencing on the morning of May 21, 2013 because the tenant in my rental property in WIndsor, CA said a section of our redwood fence fell down during a storm. I spoke to Teresa and she said she was in her car on her way to the office and would call me back later that morning to set up a inspection time - she took my phone #, name and address. I never received a call back from her. I called her back the next day in the afternoon and it was like she had never spoken with me before. She took my name, phone and address again and said she would have someone go to the property and call me with the quote. I called her a couple days later because I hadn't heard from her and she said someone did go to the house and they made a note that our retaining wall also needed to be fixed. She took my email address and said she would email me a quote, which as of today, June 6, 2013 I still have not received....

this company was referred to me by my neighbor who had beautiful gates installed. my initial contact the company was great and the estimate was provided in a timely manner. But it soon started to fall apart when it came to scheduling the work to be done. the owner stated he was experiencing problems becuz his staff becuz they were taking vacations at the time therefore, my start date was moved abt 3 times. I don't feel that that is my problem! The work was done by a professional crew and they did an extra project for me after the work was started. They could have cleaned up better but I was happy with their work so I let it slide. My feelings of the customer service, the telephone responses (by the owners wife and Guy himself) feel on deaf ears the following day when Guy came to my house to pick up his fee. I was taken aback by this cuz we were sending him our pymt in the mail that same day. He insisted we do not mail our pymt becuz he was coming to pick it up and would be at our home within the hour! Wow that's prompt! We dealt with his rescheduling why couldn't he wait for the pymt to be received the following day!? I had discussed a couple of concerns I had and he said to call him if anything came up. So I called and left messages with his wife numerous times that went unreturned. This happened for approx 8 weeks until I couldn't contain being a professional customer anymore! Needless to say I was angry with my experience with them that I exploded to both of them about providing customer service in a professional manner. That got Guy's attention so he came to my house personally to resolve the issues we discussed previously and I lectured him again with no satisfaction period! I pride myself with great customer service skills from 20 years of experience, WHY COULDN'T THEY TAKE PRIDE WITH THEIR FAMILY BUSINESS? I will never use them again!

My husband and I saw a Guy's Fencing exhibit at our local Home and Garden Show in summer 2012 and liked the look of the fencing on display and in the notebook of jobs completed by Guy's. We don't usually request estimates from exhibitors at home shows, but we got a good feeling from talking with Guy (the owner) himself. Guy came within a few days to give us an estimate on the fencing. His prices and workmanship were in line with what we were looking for, and after he sent me an estimate we called him and said we'd follow up soon. We made many changes to our original specifications, so that delayed setting a time for installation, plus it was the busy season and then the rainy season and that delayed the scheduling of Guy's jobs. That is the only reason I rated the company "B" on "responsiveness." Once the project began, Guy and his crew rated an "A" in responsiveness. When the day came to start the job, Guy was on hand to get his crew (Rigo and Rogelio) started. I was concerned that all my fussing around with the fine details might cause some friction, but they were fine with it and wanted to do whatever it took to make sure we were happy with the project. I asked Guy if his crew could add on to the project a 10-foot addition at right angles to the side-yard fence. He said sure and gave me an estimate that I OK'd on the spot. Rigo was especially responsive to my requests during the project (for example, he replaced some lattice that had some knot holes that bothered me). The entire job was supposed to take about 3 consecutive days, but a 4th day was added due to a delay caused when post hole digging encountered and cut an unforeseen water line. We were not charged for the repair. Rigo and Rogelio worked steadily and professionally the entire time, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The new fencing has improved our home's curb appeal 1000%. We definitely would hire Guy's again. They also build decks and trellises, so our next project could well be a Guy's-built deck.

He is going to be doing some more work for us in about four or five months. The price was reasonable. He is prompt, on-time, and did excellent work. I would use them again in the future.
