Richard and his staff are extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole process of scraping our ceiling. They were prompt and responded to phone calls as well as worked with my tight schedule. The crew came in and did a detailed job without leaving a huge mess behind. I highly recommend to hire "Original Richard," because after much search, I finally found a good contractor to fix my old stucco at a reasonable rate. "Steven" whose the estimator and son of the Contractor was cooperative and with ease, I knew that I would be pleased. "Donna" too whom I met to give my deposit was so nice and accommodating. I felt that "Greg" who did the repair has done more than I expected, knew what to do and was professional. I will definitely hire them again!

Worked with Steven from start to finish and everything went well. Compromised with my needs and a pleasure to deal with. They completed the entire house, including ceilings, for a 1200 sqft home in one week. They did need to take one day off because of an emergency but Steven let me know the day before and they still completed in the timeframe we discussed. Very good work and friendly workers. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for drywall!

So far so amazing. Owner is very sweet. Very polite and receptive. He has checked on the job site 3-4x’s. His son is just as nice. He’s checked on the job site 2-3x’s both have any assisted in something in our home. Prices were very reasonable. They all wash their hands continuously. They wear masks and do not take them off. All crew members vet extremely receptive and continuously keep me updated. Job site is kept clean. They broomed as they’ve gone along. I cannot wait for the end results. I’m very please with this company and so far would definitely do business and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a honest hardworking business.

ORIGINAL RICHARD is our go-to painting contractor. They do great work inside and out. They also installed our custom tile fireplace impeccably! I needed some exterior touchup this week to repair some trim after a gate was removed. I am so impressed - you can't see that there was ever any damage. Thank you so much!

Team arrived right on time. Team cleanly wrapped everything up to keep it clean. The team got a ton of work done in a single day, installing two large boards of drywall and texturing it. The texture was seamless with what already existed and I am very happy with how it looks. On a separate occasion I had the team come out to install floor and crown molding. They worked very efficiently again. Overall the quality looks good though I am awaiting a follow up scheduling for painting which will determine the final look. I bought the wrong kind of crown molding at first and the team went above and beyond to drive me to a nearby molding shop and get the right stuff.

Great. It was lots of work that went smoothly and quickly. Everyone was prompt, respectful of my home and flexible when the project expanded to include a second large window to be painted. Management was always responsive and available. Pleased down to the last detail. (I am already lining up our next project.)

I hired OR to repair areas of stucco and paint on a 67-year old home that had been neglected for decades. They were quick to respond to my initial request and always reported to the job on time. The house needed much TLC and I am pleased with the way it turned out. In addition, at my request, they removed the old rusted foundation vents and replaced them with new screened vents. It is a nice, clean detail. An area that could be improved upon is the prepping of the trim. A few areas could have been scraped and sanded and/or primed a bit better before painting. Overall, I am very satisfied and have now hired OR for some interior work.

Everything went smoothly. Workers arrived on time and prepped the area well. They worked a few hours past lunch to get the job done on time.

Obtained easy quotes via email with some pictures I provided. Drywall repairs were made as discussed, were completed timely and of good quality. This was the second time I hired them since they were easy to deal with in regards to taking company checks for this work.

It went great! Richard sent a crew of six guys who were able to get the entire condo painted in just 4 hours. They were extremely professional, efficient, and friendly, and the job they did is excellent. I am very happy with the results and would definitely use them again. I am very pleased with the ceiling patch job done by Original Richards. In fact, it was better than I expected. I am so glad that Hector, their craftsman, noticed that the pipe in the attic was leaking before he patched it up. I hired the company to patch a hole in my ceiling approx. 18" x 18". The ceiling is acoustic. Hector came out and covered and taped off everything. He put insulation on top of the drywall that he used, then sprayed acoustic. When he was done, everything was clean and the only way to tell there was a patch was a slight color difference, which will be fine when I get the inside of my house painted soon. The other hole in the ceiling was at a rental house 4 miles from my house. They did both in the same day to save me money. That was a hole approximately 1 foot x 2 1/2 feet. The ceiling is smooth. Once we paint that no one will be able to see the patching job. Originally we thought the old roof was leaking and it was replaced when the paint was blistering from moisture. Years later, some plaster fell down on the stove creating a hole, and we had the roof resealed over that area. Then more plaster fell down, and we discovered it was a pipe in the attic leaking. We had the pipe repaired, then arranged for the ceiling repair. Luckily, Hector noticed the pipe was still leaking. The plumber came out and fixed the leak while Hector was patching my ceiling. Then they went back to finish the rental's ceiling.

I have used Original Richard before for a few projects over the years. I had them repaint the exterior of the house about a year ago so when it was time to paint the interior of the house I gave them a call. As usual they did a great job because they: Met with me to review the work I wanted done. They were punctual, went through the house with me and noted exactly what I wanted to be painted and then within a day or so provided me an estimate with the scope of work clearly identified. Their pricing was competitive and in-line with scope of work we reviewed. It wasn't ridiculously high like some contractors who think they have an ignorant owner and can make a fast buck and it wasn't so low that you know they must be cutting corners somewhere or will be looking for more money to get the scope of work I want. They scheduled the work to meet my schedule. They were agreeable to start on a Wednesday, after they had given me the price, which meant they had to work over a weekend and did not ask for more money They were fair about the additional cost of changing the color scheme from 2-3 colors to over 6 when I requested the change after we had a signed contract. Their crews are always do a great job of protecting floors, moving and covering furnishings, and cleaning up at the end of each work day. Their men are very polite and accommodating as we occupied the house while they painted the entire interior. They sequenced the work so that we always had a bathroom available and a room to sleep in at night. They do a great job of prepping the work, patching and repairing, masking things that need to be protected, etc. When they were ready for me to inspect the work, I had very few corrections - which they made with no hesitation. I was expecting to need a list of minor corrections, considering the size of the job, but I had only a few. They worked a full Saturday and Sunday to complete the work as soon as possible and return us to normal living conditions.

My single complaint is that the power washing of my house just happened without a warning of potential problems - so I spent 20 minutes cleaning up 3 puddles that formed in my house from places where doors didn't seal or a crack in the stucco was so that water could reach the inside. Other than that - it was all great work and pleasant surprises. I forgot to mention that it would be nice to have a small wall in my back yard painted - got home and they had already done it. They filled in a hole in my front door before painting. All the trim work was carefully done. It's been over a month I still haven't noticed anything off in the slightest. All this was done for an estimate thousands less than the initial estimate I got. Easy communication, easy to deal with, nice people, recommended.

Had I known this was going to be so easy I would've remodeled years ago. Original Richard arrived promptly for an original estimate, and all work performed was to expectation and schedule. Thank you! They repaired some drywall that was in need of repair, patched everything, covered all of our furniture and went above-and-beyond my expectations.

Beautiful work. Be sure to be clear about what you want painted, but I think they did a great job here. I'm very happy; they patched the walls really well, and they did a beautiful job on the crown molding.

It went very well, They prepared the ceilings after another contractor removed the asbestos popcorn ceiling. They then textured every ceiling in the house except the kitchen and bathrooms. They also installed and painted crown moulding in three bedrooms and the entry hallway. They did a very good job and I would use them again.
