BUD GARMAN & SON CONSTRUCTION

Garman Construction has been part of my life since I moved here 33 years ago. they maintain our dirt road, and I find them one of the best road maintainers around. They do many other things, as most country folk do. They have hauled water from their spring to fill our tank when it runs dry in a drought. They also recently put in a power pole as ours had broken and was hanging by a cable and friction. This was the first time I have been dissatisfied with them. I made the mistake of not getting a bid first, just called them up and told them I needed help in doing this. they as usual were accomadating and put in the pole. I thought the final bill of $600 was a bit excessive, they did not. As usual between old aquantences in small towns we resolved this by, first of all we paid the bill right up front, but the elder Bubby said to me, Bill, next time I am aound there and do something for you let me know, ok? So yes I recommend Garman Construction, and to save thier agony and mine I will get an estimate next time. Love this town, and most of the people in it. Might add that the Garmans do a huge amount of public service, including helping rebuild our playing fields and such.
