Description of Work: Very nicely anh helpfully told us there are two switches that must be turned in -not just one, inorder for the gas fireplace to ignite. Also tried to align the front glass doors.

Description of Work: We recently moved into our home and had not used our fireplace because it had some unknown substance on the floor of it. It looked as if the previous owner had gas logs - now removed; but the connection to the gas line was still there. Obviously, I had no intention of starting a wood burning fire in that fireplace until I was sure it was safe. The technician from Fireplace Technician came out in a timely manner and explained to me what was left in my fireplace. He removed the remaining gas log connections, capped the gas line, cleaned the floor of the fireplace, checked the chimmney, and sprayed the walls of the fireplace with paint (where needed) and sealant. All for a reasonable price. I was very pleased with the service I received from Fireplace Technicians and would recommend them to a friend or family.
