Vic showed up on time and did a great job on clearing up my laundry drain that was backing up. He also replaced an exterior hose-bib that has been leaking for a while. This has been the second time I've used him for small plumbing jobs. I've been pleased with his work both times. His prices are reasonable compared to other plumbers I've called for quotes. I recently joined Angie's List due to a water leak in my rental house. I called a couple of plumbers in Angie's list, but Vic was able to go out immediately. He arrived on time and was very courteous to my tenant. He could not ascertain where the leak was coming from so he scheduled an appointment to bring his equipment that could detect a slab leak. He arrived on time and fixed the problem the same day. A few days later another leak erupted, just my luck, and Vic went out to the property to inspect his work he had done previously to see if that was the source of the leak. It was not. He located another leak in another part of the wall and fixed it immediately. This was all done under the supervision of my tenant, which is my sister-in-law, so she made sure everything was as Vic said. Her boyfriend, a handyman, but not good with plumbing pertaining to slab leaks, also gave Vic a thumbs up. Vic's prices were fair and his ability to get out to the site quickly and communicate the problems were very much appreciated. I would use Vic Martinez Plumbing again.

Vic was very punctual and worked efficiently. Even though my job was not an emergency, he came the same day I called.

Noticed some water in my garage floor on christmas day. Figured it was a leak under the slab. I called some plumbers to get an estimate. One quoted me $6800 to run new pipe through my attic. Vic came by, even though he had a lot of work and was busy that day, to a**** my situation. Went into the room adjacent to garage and after feeling the drywall, asked if he can open a little hole. As a result, he found the leak right away, a cap that had failed. He said he'd fix it right away for $100. I agreed. He had to go back to the job site his crew was working at to get the torch to sweat the pipe. I appreciated him going out of his way. Capped the pipe, tested it, and it was good. Saved me a lot of money it might've cost me if I had went the other route. Also, he was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely look to call him in the future for any other plumbing issues and I recommend him to any one else that may need some plumbing services.

I got a call from a tenant on a Sunday afternoon complaining about his water heating not working properly. Victor agreed to go to the property but thought it may be best to talk to the tenant first. He spoke to the tenant, determined the issue with the water heater and then ascertained that no work was necessary. When the problem was gone, he informed the tenant to call him if it returned the next day. He then immediately called me and provided me with a play-by-play of the call and issue with the water heater. He told me that if the problem returned he would go to the property to make any necessary repair. This is the second time in as many calls that Victor could have charged me hundreds of dollars for repair work that wasn't necessary. Instead, he turned a potentially large project into a small one and now a Sunday afternoon repair into a free phone call. I couldn't be happier with his professionalism.

I thought it was a large issue and it turned out it wasn't. It stood out to me how honest he was because he could have charged me $300 or $400 dollars for a big job and it was not needed. I would definitely use them in the future.

After being told that my tub needed extensive work I called Vic and he came. After looking at it he said that everything was OK and that all that was needed was some snaking of the rain. A few minutes later he was done and I saved hundreds of dollars.

I had a bathtub reglazing company out to work on a tub on a rental house. Vic was busy on another job when I called and recommended another plumber, whom I called. Since it would take the other plumber an hour to arrive, the reglazer would come back the next day. I spoke with Vic again, who said he could come out when he finished the job he was on. He was out an hour later. He cleaned the drain, found a giant hair ball, and only charged $65. I thought I was nice that he recommended another plumber when he could not come out that minute. He has done several jobs for me at both my house and the rental house. The rental is 54 years old and mine is 47 years old. He re plumbed for a new water softener and replumbed the area behind the softener in 1" copper pipe. It had been first plumbed in 1/2" galvanized steel, in between copper pipes. I have better water pressure now, and am rid of the "plumbers nightmare" that was behind the softener for years. He cleaned out drains in my house two years ago, and I have had no problem since. Usually about a year after someone cleans out the drain, I hear gurgling in the kitchen when the washer in the garage drains. This has not happened. He has also done other replumbing and faucet replacement or repairs at both homes. I have always been pleased with the work and recommended him to my neighbor.
