Once again, R.K. Knight Plumbing has performed stand up service. They offer up front pricing with no hidden fees or charges. I needed both of my traps replaced. The technician diagnosed the issue, gave me the estimate, performed the work, cleaned up and made sure I saw the repairs and was happy. Fast, efficient and fair. What more can you ask for when hiring a service to perform work. Honesty is the best policy. Thanks again RK Knight.

First the work was done professionally. The service man arrived on time and did a through job. I have no qualms about the quality of the work performed. However, I absolutely was dissatisfied with the price. When I called and scheduled the appointment, I asked Ronnie what the approximate cost would be. At that point, since I specifically asked, he could have told me their hourly rate, but said instead the service man would give me a quote. After he surveyed the job he told us that the job would be over $400 and that they charged $175 an hour. We protested and at that point since we had gone through Angie's list he would give us a 10% discount. We did decide to get the work done since he was there. The job took about 1hour and 45 minutes. When he was done, he asked if his boss had quoted us the $39.00 call fee and I replied he had not so he said "well, then I won't charge you." I don't think the work was worth almost $200 an hour, and while we DID agree to the work, my motto is once burned, twice learned. So if you decide to use R. K. Knight, be sure you understand the price structure before they dispatch. The service man has a prepriced list, so there should be no reason they couldn't give you an estimate or at least an hourly rate before when you call. I

I have used RK several times for various plumbing needs around my house. The courtesy of each employee from the scheduler to the various plumbers makes an incredible statement. This family owned business knows how to treat customers right. They are always on time, the work is flawless and the prices are fair. RK even has a discount for repeat customers and referrals. This is my go-to plumber no matter what the project.

It went well. They did charge $35 just to come out and give an estimate.

Lou was extremely prompt...here when he said he would be both for the estimate and service the following day. He was efficient and very pleasant and the whole experience was actually delightful...or as delightful as spending $500 on plumbing can be that is. We got two estimates for this service and R.K. Knight's estimate was WAAAAAY lower than the other company for essentially the same job. We are VERY pleased!

Not only did he fix my kitchen sink, but he also gave my home an inspection. The technician, Lou, was very, very nice and efficient. It was a very pleasant experience all around. I'm a first time homeowner and I was terrified, because I didn't know what to expect dealing with service providers - R.K. Knight and Lou put my mind at ease.

RK Knight Plumbing took excellent care of my mom's aging home. They were in constant contact with either my mom or my brother explaining in detail what needed to be done to resolve the pipe problem. Ronnie's team found that there was a leak under our house and advised that we have it cleaned out before any work could be done.

We needed the plumber ASAP because we were about to leave on a vacation. The lady who answered the phone was able to "squeeze" us in and estimated that he would be here about 12:00. She called just before he arrived to tell us that he was on his way. He was very polite and went to work right away. He was here for about 30 minutes and worked hard to fix the clog. He was successful . Then he went through the charges and my husband wrote a check.

They came out 2 different days. Day 1: Lou came out and gave a reasonable estimate... like 200 bucks to snake both drains. He could not clear the garage sink drain. Apparently the problem was 60 years of sludge building up. The snake can't pull out the sludge. He told me we needed to hyrdrojet the pipes to clean them out. No charge for today. We set up an appointment for the next day to hydrojet it. Day 2: I wasn't home but my wife was. They came out and jetted the lines. There was a 49 dollar extra charge because they had to take out the garbage disposal. Overall I am very happy with these guys. They will be my first call when I need a plumber. They were honest and reasonable. If my neighbors or family ask for a reference, I would recommend them 200%.

After assessing the work to be done I decided to have Randy go forward with the work. We scheduled a time on Tuesday of the following week to address these leaks. Randy did a great job in addressing the leaks espcially on the pipe that is on the wall of my house. Since the pipe laid against the stucco I was concerned that there would be extensive sutcco damage to replace the pipe but to my suprise when I came home I couldnt even tell that he replaced the pipe except for the shiney new copper pipe and fittings.. It looked great.

The service person was on time, prepared, and very efficient. In addition, he explained clearly what was wrong and what was needed to clear my clogged main drain. He gave me the price in advance. The work was done quickly and effectively. I felt I received excellent service at a fair price.

Our main sewage line backed up into our house. We called R.K. and was told they'd be there at the lastest between 2 and 3 PM. The two sons of the owner got there at 1 PM. We didn't know where our external access valve was, so they cleared the drain through the roof access. They then located the external access valve for us so we'd know where it is in the future. They finished with caulking underneath our toilet to get our house up to code. Every time they entered our house they wore booties and tried to be as clean as possible. They were friendly and professional. We liked that they were a local family-owned company.

It went very well. I was satisfied with the work. His office called later in the day to followup on his work and if I had any questions or concerns. I thought that was good customer service and appreciated the followup. Really unusual now a days that someone calls you to check on the work. I work for a public utility and we always encourage our employees to give the customers the best service possible. Nice to see another Company following the same policy.

We recommend them.We called them a few years ago about a leaky kitchen faucet. Since then we've had occasion to call about slow drains. This time it was a leaky shower. He arrived on time and performed in their usual expeditious manner. It is a family enterprise and the father taught his son well.

Excellent. I was not sure the questions to ask but they gave me a run through before they started the job. Then they gave me a start and finish date. I could not be happier.

The process was professional and courteous from beginning to end. Repairman was polite and on time. He did what he said he would do. Had the cost been less, the experience would have been better.

Due to a county owned tree, there was a constant problem with roots in the sewer line. Cleaned out once in April, but roots were just hanging out, waiting to re-enter. Final decision was to line current pipe with what appears to be an incredibly strong liner. Take that, tree!!! Polite, neat, clean, willing to explain each step...great experience!!!

This company was a father and son combination who came to my house to provide me with the estimate. By looking at the red triangle indicator on the water meter, they determined that the leak was coming from the pipe that was connected from the meter to the entrance to the house. Since many of my neighbors in my cul de sac had similar prolbems, I suggested to them that the simplest way to fix the problem was to install a copper bypass pipe from the meter to the entrance to the house. This is what all of my neighbors had done and this company agreed that it was the simplest way to fix the leak. While the son was figuring out the cost, I had a nice pleasant chat with his father. He told me that his father had started the business and that his son was the 3rd generation in his family to carry on the business. He was very professional and explained in details exactly how it will be fixed. I enjoyed my dealings with him until his son provided me with the quote. To my great surprise, his quote was almost (but not quite) twice the quote I received from another nearby plumber. I could not believe how much difference there were between the two plumbers, since the task to be performed was so well defined. The reason I asked this company for an estimate was because of many good reviews he had on Angie's list. This goes to show that you should always get more than one quote no matter how many good reviews the company may have. I answered "Yes" to question saying if I use this company again in the future, even though I did not use this company this time. What I meant by this is yes, I will use this company again to provide me with an estimate. If the price is right, I will definitely consider using them. They seem to be nice people and acted professionaly while they were at my house.

Randy came right on time and checked out the problems. He then told me what needed to be done and exactly how much it would cost. He was here for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. He kept the work areas clean and neat and was as friendly as he was professional.
