.The initial contact for an estimate was good. they arrived on time and provided a very fair estimate. Due to scheduling conflicts on both of our sides it was several weeks before the job was set uo to do. On the day of the job the crew showed up right on time and got right to work. By lunch time they were 85% done. After lunch work slowed down a bit but they had the job completed by 5:00 pm. They were very careful, and cleaned up after themselves before they left . thety were very profesional. I wuld definatly recomentd them to others.

In remodeling my living room, I removed the existing carpet to find the original 1936 hardwood floor underneath had some deep staining in a few locations and water damage under two windows. There was also an original floor heater still in place. I contacted IC Custom from an ad in a circular, and the owner and I discussed my options and price. He said the water damage, which I thought looked pretty bad, would be no problem, and offered two options for the stains: either replaced the damaged areas if I wished to retain a lighter finish, or just sand them down and stain them if I wanted to go darker (which wouldn't look perfect, but would be very difficult to make out). We also agreed that I would remove the existing original floor heater and take care of the sub-flooring, and that he would patch and match that area to the rest of the room. I was quoted $685 for the dark finish, and about $850 for a light finish (which would involve replacing the stained areas). After sanding down the floor on day 1, the crew sample-stained a few spots with different color options, and I decided to go with a dark stain for aesthetic reasons. By the end of day 2, repair, patching the floor heater area, staining and sealing with a semi-gloss, I was amazed. The price ($685) was far lower than I'd expected prior to receiving their estimate, and I'm extremely happy with the work. Before furnishing the room, I could pick out the spots that had been stained prior to the work, but only because I knew exactly where they were. With furniture and an area rug, they're invisible. The water damage was, as promised, repaired beyond recognition, and the patching of the floor heater area is indistinguishable from the rest of the floor. Very satisfied, and I would highly recommend them.
