George crew are perfectionists so you will get what you payed for. one word of suggestion, have him float your floors rather than put hardibacker board. almost the same price but you get a better quality even floor. George was on time and communicated everything to me as we went along. Hope he is available to do other jobs I have because he can be busy at times but worked around my schedule which made him a A plus guy... Thanks George...
Description of Work: Let me just start by saying if you are lucky enough to get George to come out and do your tile, you will be talking about it for a long time. The reason I say you will be lucky is because he is very busy but sometimes does make exceptions. George tends to do most of his work on high end projects for rich area and has a very impressive clientele. George is starting to go out of his norm to do the smaller jobs now which is great for us that are not rich but want the rich look. If you were to see my restroom you would call him right away. I gave george strict instructions not to duplicate my restroom because it is one of a kind. Three out of five visitors say it should be in a magazine and the other 2 said it looks like a resort spa type restroom. but that's not all he even did other jobs that weren't on his work scope and made it all come together. George is not well known to Angie's List because he gets all of his work out of word of mouth so if you need a A plus tile guy, call him soon

Description of Work: I used GH Tile Service to bid on installing granite and tile in two different bathrooms. I needed separate quotes for each bathroom and a breakdown for wall, floor and granite.

+ -1 moreHe was excellent. The price did not include the materials. He came in after another handyman had destroyed my kitchen floor. He was very meticulous in making sure that the pattern would begin and end in just the right place and he leveled it perfectly. He was a very nice person as well. Overall, it went perfectly. He was able to start soon. That's why I picked him because he could start sooner than the other people who had come. He was totally professional. He was very well-mannered, very articulate, very clean-cut, and very respectful. He was also an artisan and he had a helper with him who was also top of the line artisan, old world artisan. The work was really good. He has done work for really high end clients but he was kind enough to come to my little house and do work for me.
Description of Work: GH Tile Service removed the old backer board, laid new backer board, leveled it, set the tile pattern, grouted it, and sealed it.

+ -1 moreGeorge was recommended to me by a friend and also by a very high end contractor - he definitely delivered. I need to be honest that I cannot quote the exact amount spent as I was the GC on my remodel and George helped me out with a 101 other things during the process while I was at work. The tile work George did was exquisite and I have had numerous compliments from friends on the bathroom and kitchen.
Description of Work: Re-tiled bathroom floor (2" hex tile), re-tiled shower, (subway tile plus a 3" band of 1/2" green glass tile), fixed kitchen tile after minor remodel.
