I called G&H painting services. Gary was very nice and was able t o accommodate my needs to do the work in a specific day. The guys working for him did a good job and left my place clean. I'm pleased with everything and I will use G&H service again.

They were okay, they were not the greatest. I ended up a lot more than what I paid for. I paid $300 more. What I have been finding out lately is that the Angie's List deal is to get people out there but then they do their charge. The owner needs to get to his clients a lot faster. I tried to contact the owner the other day because I was told he had another advert but he never responded back to me. I wouldn't use them again.

It took the painter 3 weeks to call to schedule a job walk. I actually had to call him and then text him. Very poor at returning calls in a timely manner. HE called me 30 minutes before HE could schedule a job walk and expected me to make myself available. Then he tells me he can start the next day- not sufficient time to clear the room for painting and make the house available. I offered an alternate date and don't hear from the guy until I get a text late at night saying he could do it the next day. Oh, and the price would be 150% more than the original deal. In all fairness to him, the job was a little larger than the original price, which was fine. But 150%. Beware of offers on Angie's List that are just the hook and bait. The contractors make their money on the change order mark up. Will do the work myself and get my money back.

Gary & Chris were very courteous and professional, helpful and didn't feel pressured at all, I will use their services again and recommend them for you as well.

It was time to change the look of our home so we called different companies, we found a deal with this one. They were very fast and professional. Our home looks great and will recommend them for any painting job.

I have decided to hold off on getting the painting done for now, but I was pleased with the company and their estimate.

I wasn't that impressed at the end. I left, everything was a mess when I left but first they did the first, whatever it was, 2 hours or 4 hours. Everything was okay but they hadn't cleaned up. He said they could do more if I wanted for another hour. I said sure, okay, fine. And they went ahead and continued for an hour, but for the last hour they were not very productive at all. I was very disappointed. They worked hard the first four hours in order to gain the rest. And the next phase was more expensive. I don't believe I got nearly as much done in that last hour, percentage-wise, and then they left the house a mess and then just walked away. So I would not use them again.

It went okay. They're totally disorganized. The first guy showed up 4 hours late. The second guy showed up and he was fine. The work was fine. The owner was lackluster. We stayed up late to wait for the guy because it's the only time we could schedule it.

The painting job was really good, but one of the workers seemed like he was drunk. I talked to the owner of the company, and I took him aside and told him that his worker was drunk and it made me feel uncomfortable, and he said that maybe I should talk to him. They did a very good job, and they did it in the time they said they would do. It was a strange experience. I have never had a worker come to my house like that. The quality of the product was 5 stars, but the quality of production was a 2 or 3 stars. I bought the paint. One of them came on time, and the other one didn't come until later.

We have a small guest bathroom with hollywood shower that required prime and painting of walls (above tile) and ceilings (room and shower). Once the date was set, Gary sent two guys to do the job. One guy was a bit more detailed than the other but they got the job done ok. I did have to do some minor clean up after: few paint specs here and there, paint smudge on shower fixture, and retouch a little place where tape pulled off paint. I've had a good deal of painting experience and have worked with many painters on highend projects so my viewpoint may be a little skewed. This project and the price were small so its not a fair comparison. They did a good job and are good for basic projects. However, regarding communications with Gary, it felt a bit strained. I was getting the impression that he was doing the coupon deal jobs begrudgingly. I could be wrong and it's certainly not a crime but, the tone of communications was not particularly upbeat or personable.

It went well. I just needed an extra quart of paint on the existing wall.

It went fine. I didn't have materials so one of the guys went and bought them from Home Depot and I reimbursed them. The contractors were friendly and professional.

The service went okay. They did their job, but I did not use them to finish up the job. The Deal was to use them for four hours. The job took longer than four hours and they wanted a little bit more money than I was willing to pay to finish the job. I think they came out a week after I purchased the Deal because I had to schedule it with the tenant when they come out. I would rate the initial price as an A, but the after price was like a C. I am less likely to use them again.

They did a good job. They were here on time. This was the first time I ended up using them.

Gary from G&H Painting did a great job painting my interior door and trim and also repairing my drywall.

Met expectations. Painters showed up about when I expected them to and were friendly, amenable to direction and did a good job. I asked them to stay for an additional hour for which I paid extra. I had different expectations for the quality of work on this than I would have for my dining room or some other high-profile room in the house. This was a garage and it didn't really matter that there were a few slips and oversights that just aren't that important. It's a garage.

Gary is a true professional. He came to repair drywall, but ended up doing much more. He identified problems with my plan and offered solutions that would save me money, rather than simply getting his job done and charging even more. I recommend him without reservation to anyone in need of painting or drywall services.

It went very well. Arrived on time. Friendly and hard working. Job was done to our satisfaction.

The guys showed up at 9:30 am. They took about 30 mins to prep the room for paint (ie taping, taking off wall plates, etc). I bought the deal because I have been wanting to paint this small bedroom for quite some time. The guys were able to prime and paint in four hours, but my time ran out so I couldn't get the molding, door, and ceiling painted as I had wished. A good rule of thumb is to prep as much beforehand, so the guys can start painting right away. The paint job was just ok, not the best, not the worst. I think they should've done some wall prep beforehand to make the paint job look a little more polished.

The repair and patching was made more complex because the plumber had not left the frame for the valve box. The clear attention to detail was excellent as the wall area and the box were outlined in clear finish work. I was definitely satisfied by this quality of workmanship. Would definitely recommend this business.

It turned out just fine. There was an additional $20 charge for materials. Compared to what I actually needed done, and how quickly and easily they were able to get it done, I think, maybe, if I shopped around, I could find a cheaper contractor. They could have not charged me the extra $20 for materials. I know that was in the fine print of the big deal. But again, the job was so small and went so quick, I think they could have just absorbed that. The guys were responsive in communicating. They were punctual and quick to get the work done. I think I paid a little more than I needed to, for the job.

Once we got past the negotiations & I realized the provider was not able to perform the work for less than $800.00, the work went very smoothly & efficiently. The painter included the wall that had contained a mirror (my husband removed the mirror) and ceiling. The final product was very nice.
