Description of Work: The job I asked them to do was really too much for the time that I had paid for. I felt like they made really good choices and used the time they had well, and made my living room look great.

I received credit back from Angie's List for use on another project. If you want the work done, use someone else.

Description of Work: Bought an Angie's List deal for drywall repair to patch up a few holes in my living room. They did a great, quality job. It would be nice if materials were included in the future (within reason) but the extra cost of the materials wasn't that bad ($20).

Description of Work: We'd had plumbing work done in the wall behind our washing machine, leaving holes exposing the lath and plaster. G&H came July 20th to give an estimate. He was quick and efficient, but only gave me a verbal estimate. I would have liked it in writing. The following Sunday I called him and he was driving and a bit distracted, not remembering at first who I was. The next day he did the repair work. My husband enjoyed talking with him while he worked. He did a good job on the repair and we are satisfied. He honored the verbal estimate, easing my concern over not having it in writing.

Description of Work: Didn't do the full hours I paid and was all washed up ready to leave before I could make sure he did all the work. Painted the room walls but not the door. What he did paint was good though. Used my hose to clean and left my lawn full of paint.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 for 3 hours of drywall work coupon and had G&H Painting come and patch around two open ceiling light fixture boxes, an open space from an old wall intercom speaker, and around several switches. He did a great job, but it took a little over 3 hours and he had to be a little creative in filling the two open ceiling boxes, so I gave him an additional $100.

Description of Work: Epic communication fail. The tone of the emails were curt and rude and the only days they wanted to do the service was on a Saturday. After explaining Saturdays are bad for me and I didn't appreciate the rude tone their response was call Angie. Please feel free to look at our communication via Angie's List mail.

Description of Work: They spray painted our 30 year old kitchen cabinets and small ceiling. |They forgot to paint under one cabinet and did not paint the back of the laundry louvered doors as they said they would.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List deal for 3 hrs of drywall repair. I had previously purchased another deal to have 4 overhead lights installed in my living room and the holes needed to be filled so this was perfect! Our schedules didn't line up so well but once they did Gary was right no time and did a great job! I read some reviews that were less than perfect but he was clear in what was included and what wasn't. I had to buy the "materials" and he provided the expert labor. Communication is key and we must have emailed a dozen times back and forth. I'd recommend anyone do the same anytime you're purchasing any "deals" here or elsewhere and it'll make things go much more smoothly. I'd use Gary again if I ever need his services.

Description of Work: They patched up the dry wall. The workers did not seem experienced and had to call their boss and asked how to do the job. Couldn't give a cost estimate up front and the hourly rate is high at $75/hour and did not communicate before the work start. The business owner is not organized to get the billing straight.
