We needed to get a rental property painted quickly and inexpensive as possible as the owner was not willing to pay for a fresh coat of paint, and the house needed it badly. Garry met with my husband and reviewed the scope of work we wanted. Everything was done professionally, on time, and at a great price. As Realtors we are constantly in need of a quick paint job to freshen up a property before listing it. We will be calling Garry in the future. In fact, we've already arranged for him to meet with our next client!

I tried to tackle the wall and ceiling repairs on my own, and it didn't go so well. Last night, at around 8:45pm, I looked on my awesome Angie's List for some help. I found G&H painting because of their proximity, and then called because of his A rating and great reviews. Boy, was it the right choice. Taking a chance, I called him last night of which he politely answered and asked how he could help. I explained my project and if it was something he could do ASAP. He had other work already lined up for the week, but still made it out this morning for a quote. I approved and his guy started right away. I could not be more pleased with the job done. It was not rushed at all. Perfectly blended and expertly applied. The worker that did all the repairs was thoughtful with the mess and noise level. Left my home clean, walls and ceiling repaired to my complete satisfaction. Well done G&H. Well done.

Great job! Completely satisfied with the work performed. I ordered an Angie's List Big Deal ($199 for 8 hours of painting). I knew that my project would exceed the hours purchased. I had several sections of a wrought iron fence that needed to be painted and many areas were very rusted. Gary (the owner) came on the first agreed upon day of service and went over everything with me. He was extremely conscientious and thorough offering suggestions as to how to deal with the rust problem going forward. He had brought 2 painters with him to do the work. The guys, Jesse and Mike, were hard working and completely delightful. Gary told me that my job would most likely take 2 full days. He had said that beyond the 8 hours that I had purchased (2 men = 4 hours for the Angie's List payment) he would charge me $35 per man per hour. The total cost was $1040 inclusive of the original $199 paid. Gary called today just to follow up and make sure that I was satisfied. I am! I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

Jesse arrived on time and went straight to work. He repaired the damage to walls and did an excellent job painting the entire room with time to spare. Because of the additional time, he volunteered to paint the crown molding. When we realized the closet doors where a different color white than the beadboard and molding, Gary--the owner, offered to have the doors sprayed at the shop and returned to house 2 days late when they were dry all within the $199.00 charge. Both Jesse and Gary were great guys: very friendly and helpful. The work was beautiful and my room is fresh and clean! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

G&H sent 2 guys, very professional and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and upon given the scope, preceded to do the prep work. Garry quoted $35 per man hour for additional work which I thought was reasonable. They did an excellent job on the kitchen and front door which ended up needing a touch-up coat of stain and 2 coats of varnish. Total time was 1-1/2 days for both guys. I plan to have them back again to paint my kids room.

It was not good. They came out and scratched the paint. He had no reason to do this.

Gary and his crew were great. They worked hard to complete the task within the time allotted by the coupon I bought, and when it was clear that wasn't going to happen (because the room is large with bookshelves that needed sanding and painting,) he gave me a fair price on the rest. He also gave me a lower price on a second job of painting outside windows. And their was no sacrifice in quality. I wouldn't hesitate to use them on your nicest rooms.

Painted and repaired several cracks in my office/sewing room and hallway | |Took them 3 days - originally was told 2 days, but only 1 painter was here on 2 days - the 3rd day there were 2 painters. I had lots of trim work which is primarily by brush and needed 2 coats. I will recommend them to my friends

Great job and good use of the time. Gary came in with his apprentice on Lombardi time (a few minutes before scheduled) - much appreciated- and after confirming what I wanted done as discussed on our appointment call they dropped gear and got to work. Due to the limited time and goal of good quality they chose to roll the dining room wall and spray the laundry room. They used clean drop clothes, paid attention to details, asked for clarity, completed the first and second coat, cleaned up and reviewd the work in the allotted time. Overall I was very happy as I got what I wanted at a low price. I used to paint houses in college and high school so I can appreciate Gary's request to have me clarify how detailed and meticulous or quick and efficient I wanted the job done. I will definitely hire Gary again for a full day job and refer him to others.

They removed the popcorn, acoustic ceiling and that's what it originally started as. Everything else was added on. He did a really good job on the acoustic; excellent. They tried to get the acoustic ceiling as smooth as possible. There were a lot of details that I really liked. I also liked the prepping on the wall. On the finishing, I was somewhat happy because they didn’t do good clean lines and I had to go and re-do the lines. The price was fair.

They are outstanding. I did use them once when I first moved in and did a beautiful job. They are so good and it's still great after ten years. They are always on time, professional, and Gary has an eye for detail. They go everything in great detail and are very clean. They are also very reasonably priced. Three gentlemen came and did such a quality job, I can't believe it!
