They were efficient, clean and polite.

I have done really well with them. The first people that came over said we needed a new water heater and valves and supply lines and it was about $1400 work. Farmers came over and said no you just need new valve and supply lines. It was $234 versus $1400. We've only been here about 2 years and come to find out Farmers replaced the water heater 4 years ago. They knew it wasn't bad and the other company was just trying to rake us over the coals. They gave us a narrow time window between 1 and 3 instead of a noon to 5 window. They were here right between 1 and 3. They were contentious and respectful of the property. I have some large dogs and they didn't freak out about the dogs. They enjoyed the dogs and they just felt like friends coming over to help me with a problem. I would use them again. There was actually nothing wrong with the water heater. It was just the supply lines. They were prepared and they were here. There was nothing they didn't do well.

It's a very old house and it is easy to clog the pipes. They need to be cleaned every now and then. I can't say anything bad about anything they've done for us.

Went well. Andy did a nice job. He is very pleasant and professional. Explained everything he did. Cleaned up and left everything looking nice. We had new countertops installed by Granite Transformations and Andy was recommended. Happy they could refer us to someone who new their process.

They had put in the previous sink. I had redone my kitchen using granite transformations. I was told that someone who is familiar with how that process was done would be used best when I needed to replace so I could be careful with the granite countertops. I have no issues. Everything was great. It cost so much but it was fine.

I'm in Orange County and had used Farmers once before when my kitchen and laundry drains were backing up. Andy cleaned the kitchen sink and laundry drain lines from roof vent to main sewer line at a fair/typical price and I was very happy with the experience. This time, my shower drains had backed up in both bathrooms (one shared line due to normal build-up). I called and left a message with Farmers, and then because I was impatient also left messages with several other companies because I wanted to get someone here fast. Mike Diamond Pluming (the smell good plumber) said they could have someone out by 1pm. As I waited, I noted they had really poor reviews on Angie's List and felt really anxious about my choice. Mike Diamond's plumber never arrived nor called. At the same time I picked up the phone to call and find out where the Mike Diamond guy was, Andy from Farmers returned my call. He apologized that it took a little longer than usual to return my call as they had been on a complex job - but actually it wasn't that long, I just had somewhere to be and didn't want to wait. And I thought it was interesting to note that even as of the writing of this review, none of the other plumbers I left messages for have yet returned my call). After talking to Andy, he was straight forward, put me at ease and I asked him to come by to fix the drains. I hung up and canceled the service call with Mike Diamond. Andy (and John?) arrived promptly less than 30 minutes later. They were very professional, presentable, cordial and competent - charged a fair, competitive price... just like the first time I used them. It was nice that they remembered me from their last service call here. They cleared the drain from shower drain to main sewer line, checking that the problem was solved in both bathrooms and were out of here in no time. No mess, no fuss and I could get on with my day. The bonus was that it cost me less than what Mike Diamond Plumbing had quoted me. It was a positive experience and I will absolutely use Farmers Plumbing and Drain from now on as they are competent and pleasant to deal with and I feel like I can trust them.

Subsequent to that I had a leak under the sink, he fixed it for free and said it wasn't something that was affected by the services he had provided previously but he just went ahead and fixed it. He was very, very good, very professional. I'm not sure I would use him again simply because he's so far away, he's in Orange County.
