They were great. They were very good. Their price was good. They did as good job as anybody. They cleaned up and there was no mess. They came in and did their job and left. I will be using them in the future.

They were professional and quick. They had a problem with a piece of equipment and had to come back on the subsequent day to finish up, but they scheduled that for the following week. They damaged some lights on a tree that I should have taken off, but that is the only thing that I can fault them for. It was all good and I didn't have any negative experience with them.

They showed up quickly, within 5 days, gave me an extremely reasonable estimate to remove diseased trees and trim another. Would have used them but the house was sold.

Their price was pretty good. They were great. They came on time, were clean, did great job and good clean up. I liked them very much.

Overall the service was very good. I got a quick quote of $250.00 for the six Queen palm trees that are 30 plus feet tall. and $45..00 for three very tall trees on the side on the house. I thought the price was great because it included haul away and clean up. Within a few days the service was complete. My only minor complaint I have was the workers could have done a little better job at ranking up a lot more the the palm seeds that was left behind. I still have lots os small green olive size pod seeds all around the base of the trees which really needs to be pick up with a shop vac . So now I must get out my Vacuum and do that myself.

Their website is appealing and explains the difference between trimming and topping. The estimator was on time and made his bid while on location. No pressure, no upsale. Bid was made as 3 separate sections, I was given the option of accepting in parts. I accepted all on phone and got the earliest available date one week later, which was early enough. Estimate: 4 hours from 8-12 am. Actual 3.25 hours with a crew of 5. They showed up 15 minutes early which was no problem and completed 1 hour early. They were very professional. They brought 2 large mulching trucks. No parking or noise complaints from neighbors, no property damage sustained, all debris was cleaned up, and the level of trimming was as desired. I consider it expensive, but it has to be done and I will use them again next time.

When I called, they were really honest about when someone could come out. We set up a time, they confirmed the night before, they came out, and they gave me the lowest estimate. I feel like they communicated well, responded to my calls, and a real person picked up the phone. They arrived on time, they seem to be responsive and attentive, and they did a good job on the tree. I would call them again.

They took care of our issues and were much lower in cost than another vendor who gave us a bid. They did a great job.

Response to the request for estimate was within 24 hours. The estimate was provided and work scheduled within a week time. The removers were promt, clean, and thorough. I was pleased with the overall site. They backfilled the location where the stumps were removed. This was important to prevent injury of children or animals. Nice job. I plan on using them again to remove another Palm Tree.

Gold Coast is responsive and does the work quickly. We have used them before.

I am very particular and like to be around when contractors are on my property. When I asked the foreman Mario a question or to do something, he was extremely accommodating. All the men were respectful and very hard workers. Their experience in tree trimming showed. I used Gold Coast last year also. Lee in the office and Dave are easy to work with and efficient.

They were pretty good. They had one of the lowest estimates and said they could have it done within 2 hours, which they did. They had a total of 5 people working with 2 trimmers. They came in and came out. They had a big grinder to grind up the limbs. It didn't look like anything had been done except for the tree. They came right on time and were nice.

Gold Coast arrived on time and completed the job sooner than expected. All personnel were very professional. They did an excellent job and cleaned up all debris. My husband and I were very impressed by their service.

These guys did a great job. I've kissed a lot of tree service frogs - professionals and casual laborers - trying to get a decent job done by at least someone. Our landscape designer suggested Gold Coast. Mike the owner came out only a day or two after I called to give me a quote - right there on the spot. I explained we'd just done a LOT of new planting and I needed his crew to be very careful of the new trees and plants. I felt very confident after he explained a lot about the different trees on our property. He even said he wouldn't quote (let alone accept the work) trimming out a number of pine trees at this time of year, explaining the only time to safely trim them is in winter. The crew arrived right on time and were very respectful. I explained to them my concerns about the new plantings, and they were very careful. All work was done perfectly! I've been so frustrated by having my trees butchered that I'd grown pretty gunshy. No more. I'll have these guys back regularly to keep my trees cleaned up and my yard will be the better for it. Their price was quite fair, the crew was well equipped and respectful of my home and grounds, they cleaned up very thoroughly, and I'm so grateful I had to write a review (which is not my normal style).

My overall experience has been great. I had a six-men crew coming out to do the work. The crew was very efficient. The work was done to spec. The crew was careful not to damage the stone work and the piping around the trees. They cleaned both the front and the back after the work.

I hired Gold Coast last year to trim some trees and they did a good job at a low price. This time, though, except for estimator Dave Peters, my experience with this company was a disaster. I scheduled service two weeks in advance, but Sam the office manager was unable to give me a time frame for the crew's arrival. She said she would call me the day before to do that. I never heard from her, so I called that afternoon at 4:00 and found the office closed. The crew showed up at 7:30 the next morning, which was unexpected and very inconvenient. The crew lopped off tree branches in a seemingly haphazard manner and failed to remove suckers and dead growth. I nearly cried when I saw my beautiful acacia tree transformed into a misshapen, wispy mass with torn (not cut) branches dangling from it. The crew damaged or destroyed five wire trellises, bent and tore the snake fence, stomped a new calla lilly plant to the ground, failed to remove roots as agreed, left a big mess (dirt, leaves, wire, cut branches, etc.) all over the property and street, and left without telling me. They did however, leave behind a leaf rake. I called the office and got no response, so I called later and asked for Dave Peters to call me. He did so promptly. When I described what the crew had done and invited him to see the results for himself, he became defensive but ultimately waived the $260 fee. He also asked that I leave the rake in the front yard for the crew to pick up. They never did. I have since hired a gardening crew to clean up the mess and to remove shrub roots that Gold Coast left in the ground. I also need to repair and replace the trellises, etc. that Gold Coast damaged or destroyed.

their price was lower than 5 other companies. they did a lot of extra work without charging us. they had a large crew and finished in 2 days. we had worked with them 5 yrs ago with very satisfactory results too. I highly recomend them. the only thing I didnt like was that they took some post lights and sprinkler heads off and did not replace them. later I noticed 2 were broken. I did not complain about this to them.

Gold Coast Tree Service was out the next day after I called to complete an estimate. They called us to reschedule when there were weather related delays, I thought that was wonderful. They showed up on time. When they came to complete the work they were in and out in no time. I was very satisfied with their work. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled everything away. The job overall went very well.

It was done in a day, so it was a timely service. We were happy with the price and there was some irrigation system damage in the yard, but that risk was explained to us before hand and not a liability to the company.

There were some communication mishaps that could be excused...but the work and the price and the timeliness were great.

I called Gold Coast Tree Service to get an estimate on removing a tree in our backyard that had split and partially fallen; half of it was resting on our backyard fence/wall. Gold Coast arranged for an estimator to come out the same day that I called, and then was able to schedule the work within 48 hours of my initial call. The team they sent out worked quickly and efficiently, and had the tree down and removed within 30 minutes. They were polite and courteous. The only negative was that they weren't able to give me a window of time during the day when the team might arrive, which meant I was stuck in the house waiting for most of the day. Still, that was fine because they were able to schedule the work so quickly after I made the initial call.

Estimator Dave Peters was punctual, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He advised me to wait until fall before trimming my jacaranda and crape myrtle trees. (This was in June.) I hired Gold Coast a few days later when a competitor failed to appear for an estimate. On the afternoon the work was to have been done, Gold Coast's dispatcher called to say the crew was detained at the preceding work site and was unable to come to my home. She was very apologetic and we rescheduled the appointment. On the appointed morning, the crew arrived 20 minutes early and asked to borrow my ladder. They finished an hour later. The trees and bushes were nicely trimmed and the crew cleaned up after themselves--except for leaving the ladder in the back yard, which I asked them to return to the garage area. I asked the foreman several questions concerning the extent and shape the bushes were trimmed and he answered to my satisfaction. Overall, dealing with Gold Coast has been a pleasant experience and I would hire them again.
