Arrived on time. Very efficient. Clean up was excellent - removed all debris.

They charge what they say they would charge and they provide the services that they say they are going to provide. They’re pretty timely, and they call me back and tell me when they’re going to set up the appointment. The people did a real good job of cleaning up afterwards. I was very pleased with them. I will use them again in the future.

Good expereince. A little pricey and they left an tool behind.

They gave an estimate lower than another company. They showed up on time and removed the tree. They even went through two chainsaws as the previous owner had poured concrete in the tree. The guys weren't happy, but they dealt with it like the pros they are. I recommend them.

Although this company is some distance from my home, it appeared as though they had done work in my area. However, even affter several attempts to contact them, they never had the courtesy to contact me --- to either arrange for an estimate or let me know they did not want the work.

Everyone was very friendly. They got back to me right away. They had a woman answering their phones all the time and she was very nice. They cleaned up my yard very well. You could not even know they were here. They have a good reputation.

in a few small apartment building that we operate the trees from the city we're encroching onto our property and into the electrical lines. Because the city did not have the funds to service the trees we were given permission to work on them. GOld coast did a great job though they were a bit fearful to do the job even thought we presented all the city documentation stating we were being given the right to do so. They were professional and left the site clean.

The original date was slipped 1 week by mutual agreement. All contacts with Gold Coast on the phone and in person were very polite and professional. The estimate was very comparable to what I had paid years ago for similar work. The crew aririved right on time. They were well equipped and had enough people to do the job quickly and efficiently. The crew came out basically on time and got right to work. They climbed straight up our eucalyptus tree, trimmed the areas that I was concerned with, hauled away all the debris and were done before I knew it.They also cut out a dead oak tree and hauled that away with no problem. Overall, they did exactly what I asked them to do, and for significantly less than other companies were quoting.

We had two 40 ft ash trees in back that have never been trimmed and were looking kind of overgrown and had broken branches, crossed branches and generally looked shabby.Gold Coast responded professionally and on time for the appointment for the trimming job and worked about 4 hours on the trimming. The root cutting was accomplished with a digging machine that ground up the root and left a pile of root and dirt. The refilled the hole with dirt and took away all of the cuttings out of our yard and left our yard cleaner than before.We asked if we could have the wood shavings in a pile in our front yard so we could spread it out as mulch and they backed up their truck in our small driveway and dumped the shavings right where we wanted them. Nice job!The price was less than their competitors and we had a $50 off coupon from a mailer.All in all a very nice experience!

This company is very efficient and reliable. The secretary contacted us the day before to remind us of our appointment for the tree removal and told us what time to expect their workers. Six workers arrived and the foreman reviewed the entire job before they started. They completed all of the work in about 3 hours. These fellows are amazing! They were very respectful of our property and cleaned up all of the debris, which they took with them. We were surprised by how quickly and efficiently they were able to complete the job. Our property looks great and we can't recommend them highly enough!

Gold Coast Tree Service did a beautiful job. The tree looked wonderful (not hacked) when they were done. They removed all debris from my yard and my neighbor's yard, and left zero mess behind. They showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally, and did the job as planned. I've used them twice before, and would absolutely use them again.

I contacted the company for a quote for the two removals and they were able to provide one right away. The removal ws scheduled and delayed by rain but was rescheduled as soon as possible. The workers showed up right on time. They went over the work to be performed and got started right away. I had the tree and the stump removed and the hedge and the stumps removed. They were finished in 5.5 hours. It's a very messy job but they did a good job keeping in to a minimum. I have a swimming pool next to the Tree and while there was some stuff in the pool it was not as bad as I thought it would be. I highly recommend them!

I received estimates from several different companies and I liked the guy from Gold Coast and decided to use them. They have various types of equipment to get the job done.

Gold Coast Tree Service were very professional and at a reasonable price. Mario, the estimator, was very knowledgeable about our trees and courteously listened to everything we wanted done with a few suggestions of his own. He wrote up a better proposal price than the other tree service companies. The lady at the office, Lee, pleasantly answered our questions regarding the service and sent the estimator out the same day. We, also, wanted to add a tree after the original bid, and she graciously accommodated that request. Mario, the crew leader, and his 4 guys worked well together and beautifully shaped the trees so they are now an asset to our home. The crew thoroughly ground the stumps in a way that we can now plant whatever we want in the area, and they did not damage the flower beds or the sprinklers. Also the crew leader, Mario, was very accommodating to any small request that we asked. The added benefit is that the crew cleaned up the yard very nicely. Thanks Gold Coast!!

Their ad in Angie's List says that they provide tree services for the "entire area," but when I called, the woman I spoke with advised that they only go to the 10. She was very pleasant and apologetic about the misinformation. They need to be more specific abour their service area.

Although Gold Coast's quote was the lowest, their service was, by far, the highest in professionalism. They used the hand operated stump grinder for small spaces and the much larger remote controlled stump grinder for the larger stump in a clear area. When they stump grinded trees close to the house, they also hung up a cloth to protect the stucco and windows from flying chips. They also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. Gold Coast is the only way to go for tree removal!!

After scheduling for an estimate they followed up and schedule the work to be done. They called the day before the job to confirm. They arrived about 30 minutes early the next day and the foreman confirmed the work I wanted done. The foreman suggested not to cut off a large branch I wanted removed, but to trim and thin it out instead. In hindsight I am glad I agreed, since he really knew what he was talking about. They really shaped the trees instead of butchering them up. They are truly professional.

They cut my trees and they did a wonderful job. They are going to do another one for me on the 31st of October 2011. They were more reasonable than someone else that I had called. They came, did the job and cleaned up everything. They left it very clean and I was very pleased. The person that came out to give me an estimate seemed very knowledgeable for what I needed and I thought that his estimate was better. Their price was good. They did a great job. They did what they said that they would do. They were early. They were very professional and they were all very nice. They did a good job. I am going to use them again on Monday and I hope that it will be just as good.

I was very satisified with Gold Coast Tree Service. The work was completed quickly and done well. The price was very competitive. I would happily hire Gold Coast Tree Service in the future. I received 3 bids for this job and this was definitely the best. The lady that I spoke with over the phone was very knowledgeable and responsive.

The company responded very quickly to give me a quote and was able to schedule me in to get the job done within a few days. They showed up right on time and worked very efficiently to get the job done. I had already moved several potted plants from underneath the pepper tree to be trimmed before they arrived and once the workers were there, they moved a few more items which I had not noticed that could be in harm's way. (I do want to note that a bird bath was moved by the crew, and I didn't notice until after they left that it had not been put back. I am sure that if I had noticed and pointed it out to the crew, that they would have happily put it back for me.) As the tree was trimmed, the crew took the branches and debris to the chipper and they were all finished within the time that they had estimated. In the end, after nervously watching the trimming of this huge tree, I have a beautiful pepper tree and no more worries about overgrown limbs breaking off.

I got the recommendation from my next door neighbor, who had used them. I looked them up, and they seemed reasonable, so I asked them to come out. They were pretty prompt in coming out and gave me an estimate on site. They were very responsive, punctual and professional. I told them that the two trees were next to each other, and they told me what they would do to get both those trees down, they would bring all their own equipment and they would chip up all the wood pieces. The estimate was free. I have not moved forward with any projects to remove trees, but when I am ready to do the work, I am definitely going to consider them.
