It's about a relationship and referrals. We include all prices upfront. We do not charge for estimates and will gladly try to walk you through your electrical repair over the phone, if you're up to the task. I have been growing in the trades from 1975, from my first job in a lumber yard stacking lumber then building custom furniture as well as obtaining a background in plumbing. This led to my first job as an electrical helper at age seventeen, by the time I was twenty I was in charge of a Los Angeles based Company for seventeen years. We work with and for several Property Management companies and we have remolded a Ritz Carlton from the ground up in MDR. For the last several years we have been part of building many homes from the ground up and several remodels. NO JOB IS TOO SMALL, we work on all levels of service. We treat all customers with the same respect from the beginning of the job to the finish of the project. Goodwill comes back if you respect your customers. Description of Work: I have used them previously to install a fan in my bathroom. This time I had them come over to fix some problems I had with my outside lighting in several areas and a few minor things inside my house needed to be replaced. The tech also discovered a problem I had with an outlet in the garage and replaced. Went great their tech is fabulous and kept me apprised of any issues along the way. Will definitely use again.

Response from Fairway Electric
I suggested framing apertures. coming from a recessed fixture or a mono point track head This is a stand alone fixture, very clean. This suggestion was over priced for the customer. This is what would be used in a gallery. Then we went to recessed 4" recessed lights with a directional lamp. On each side of the paintings with crossed lighting . So the lighting would be even without a hot spot or glare. On the morning of install it was discovered that there was not enough height to allow a recessed fixture into the cavity of the ceiling. There was additional bracing throughout the ceiling. For support of the third floor . You can't always be sure whats behind the wall until you open your first hole. So with the customers approval we went to a mono point and a low profile track head. The job was still completed in a day. The customer was very satisfied considering . What we went through to complete the task in one day. On the day of install the customer made the dissensions. We just supplied option, We were paid and were thanked for the work. I followed up on the job and was told that everything was fine . It always surprises me to get a report about 4 months later. If there is a problem please let us know ASAP so together we can make a choice on the best means of correction for the project. As a side note we just completed the Golf Museum at the Riviera Country Club I am proud of my lighting work. For homes and Landscaping projects I understand depth of field and the need for shadow for Drama and less is best when it comes to lighting ( unless it is a area that is used for heavy entertaining )

Description of Work: Replaced light switches, removed and replaced older wiring from within the walls with new wiring, without opening up sheetrock walls, strategized on specific upgrades to breakers, inspected for where in the house the old wiring remained, quoted for replacement of older wiring where needed. Did not blindly quote megabucks for whole home re-wiring as had occurred with other vendors. Allowed a small job to remain small rather than overdiagnosing for an overpricing.

First one charges by the hour, then fairway Electric gave me a flat price. he ewas more expensive, Fairway responded quickly and did an excellent job. (this info belongs in "all the details", but my computer would not allow typing in the designated area.?) I spoke to owner of Fairway Electric, he contacted the electrician, electrician called me to tell time of his arrival, was at my home within an hour and a half. performed the work excellently and cleaned up any mess afterward. Very pleased with the results.

Description of Work: I saw the number of reviews for FAIRWAY and was impressed - THEN I called them and when they returned the call (punctually) they were far less impressive -- maybe if you have a BIG project the response & customer service might be different - but my dealt with a circuit breaker replacement - they basically said they were too busy to handle a project that small - I appreciate the truthfulness - my suggestion on the webiste indicate that you do not facilitate small service call under a certain amount. I instead went with ADI Electric and they have done a fanastic job along with great customer service. FAIRWAY ELECTRIC is off my contact list.

Was this grade for being honest or for not being the company to able to help. I never turn down work. I may try to guide you through it for free. In my world a bad breaker ( Is a possible panel up grade ) not a small job. I wanted your call but could not service you in the frame to meet your needs. I hope you received the proper service and price. Basic breaker change out $100-200. Depending on the type of breaker. Honesty builds a proper relationship. So my apology for not being able to service you the Fairway. :0))
