Paul was able to come by and perform this repair on short notice on a Sunday. I was a little concerned about safety issues concerning the broken light switch, which was why I needed a visit as soon as possible and could not wait till Monday. Paul answered my call and was at my house within hours. Paul took the time to explain why I was having issues with the light switch, and described (and showed) me the installation issues caused by a previous contractor. He repaired and replaced the switch, and recommended solutions to ensure that the problem would not occur again. He also made recommendations on selecting future electrical/lighting equipment, including "green" approaches (energy saving), to not only minimize the potential for future electrical failures, but to also save money. Because of his recommendations, I have a working switch, a better lighted living room, less heat (from switching to LED bulbs), and saving more money. To think I only paid him to fix a broken light switch! Very pleased with Paul's service, and he is a joy to work with.

Job done as requested .. Didn't show up the first day because jobs took longer than planned. But they didn't call us to tell us they were behind. We had to contact them They requested to reschedule for another day, which we did, but still didn't show up at the time requested. I think they need better communication with the client. Tom came over did the job he was hired to do, and cleaned up after himself. If I were to use this company again, I would want better communication.

The technican,tommy was polite,helpful and did not waste time getting things accomplished.I had questions on some low voltage wiring that i had done and he showed me what i had done wrong.that was very helpful because i continued to have a problem with the lights and i now know what i need to do to correct the problem.the rear deck had a lot of issues which he was able to diagnose and fix.the front deck was easier for him to diagnose and correct,a job well done.he spent three hours and i was very satisfied with his work.the one area that they need to work on is the follow through regarding appointment time and date.paul on the initial walk through was on time and friendly and helpful,but getting back to me about the actual time and date for the work to be performed did not happen.the tech. guy just showed up.it all worked out and i would highly recommend them and use them again.

Our appointment was at 11am. He called to tell us that he expected to be about 15 minutes late which was fine and very nice of him. As it turned out, he was 15 early. He went right to work and finished up quickly. Paul is very professional and an overall super nice guy!

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Paul and team arrived timely and set to work right away. They had to drill holes in the garage wall for the lighting fixtures and recommened a separate breaker box for the lights themselves. They took care of getting any additional supplies they needed. They even bought paint so the cover cord for the motion sensor light would "blend" in with the rest of the back porch. They finished everything in good time and cleaned up completely. While doing the work, Paul also noted that we could use a service upgrade and gave us a fair quote for that work. Overall a good experience.

He and his guys were great. Their prices are great. They are very respectful. They clean up after themselves. They tell us what is wrong and they don’t try to pass the bill at all. They are fabulous. I won’t use anybody else.

I have a mid-century modern style home with an open beam ceiling. We've been wanting a ceiling fan for a while now to help circulate the air in the hot summer months (in the Valley, it gets H O T). I called Paul and he responded promptly, scheduling a time for his main serviceman Tommy to come out and give me a quote. Tommy arrived right on the dot (7:30am), assessed my situation, and suggested an install option (a simpler one) that a previous electrician did not. I was happy with his solution and proceeded to order the fan I was eyeing online. I scheduled an appointment for the install on 5/14 and Tommy was back and ready to get to business. He installed my fan quickly and professionally. I'm the type of person that likes to ask a lot of questions (just so I know what's going on) and he was happy to answer any questions I had. He was in and out in under an hour and a half and I couldn't be happier. Definitely going to have them back to install another fan in my office.

Called for quote on installing a ceiling fan - showed up on time, gave me a quote and perfomed the work in about an hour. And even offered to vacuum up afterwards - how much do I love these guys?! Fan works perfectly - most important, no dirty smudges on my ceiling.

Not only did he quickly diagnose the problem with the bell, which was a transformer in a closet that had come unplugged, but made everything work perfectly, including making certain the little critter would not come unplugged again (zip-tied it), then made the new, lighted button work with the old plate, then siliconed the plate to the wall, making it weather-proof. Simply amazing work, all done with a smile. Can't speak highly enough of Tommy, would heartily recommend him to anyone who needs quality repair done at a fair price, and can't wait to see him again when something else breaks, which it surely will.

My wife and I are in escrow on a home that is under short sale and has a number of issues. We had asked the bank for a concession considering there were several safety issues with the home. One of the primary issues was the original 100A panel with faulty breakers. We received a call from the bank on Thursday afternoon and they said they may entertain the thought of granting our request if we could substantiate the request with real estimates for the work. We contacted Paul that evening and he requested a copy of the home inspection, so we emailed it to him. In less than an hour he had reviewed the report and provided an estimate to us to forward to the bank. Paul was very professional, seemed very knowledgable in his field and he did not charge us for the estimate despite the short notice. We appreciated his assistance and look forward to using his services in the future.

Fairway Electric is the absolute best! I emailed on Friday to report a problem with a circuit breaker. I received a return phone call within 10 minutes! My appointment was scheduled for the following Monday morning (today). Tommy, the electrician was not only on time, he was EARLY! Tommy explained all of the work he was doing to locate my problem, and quickly and effectively determined what was causing the issue and fixed it. He then came up with a solution to another electrical problem I was having at no cost to me - when another electrician wanted $1,000-$1,500 to solve the problem. Fairway Electric is trustworthly, professional and knowledgable. I will be recommending Fairway to family and friends. Thank you!

The outlet to my stove was not working. I inspected it an found out it was a 240V outlet. I live in a condo with a communal breaker. I advised the Building Manager about this and he sent someone over to hit the breakers, however this did not resolve the problem. They advised me since the outlet is on my unit I will have to pay for an electrician. I called Paul and the first thing he asked me was if I had checked the breakers. I advise that I did. He came on a Saturday to look at it. He checked the breakers by running his finger across the panel. After doing so the outlet worked. I paid him and he later emailed me an invoice explaining what it is that he did. I forwarded the invoice to the Building Manager who stated that he will reimburse me for this. Paul was professional, fast, and charged me fairly. Highly recommend his services to all.

This company has an Expired license and are not able to contract at this time according to the Contractors State License Board.

Very good electrician. On time, responsive, and really nice. I am a landlord and normally feel taken advantage of every time I hire an electrician. Not so here. I found them to be quite good.

I contacted Fairway via email and was immediately impressed at the speed of the return email and how quickly someone came over to give us an estimate. The electrician was prompt, professional and clearly explained how the job would be completed and exactly what they would and would not do. For example, they would make every effort to cut all holes as small as they could and make clean cuts, so it would be easy to patch, but they do not patch the wall. We got a written estimate and the owner of the company called to follow up, making it easy to schedule the work. I liked how accessible and easy to reach he was, responding immediately via email. The work was completed as scheduled. The workers were prompt, professional, respectful and the lead electrician spoke perfect English (which is my language), making it very easy to communicate with no confusion or waste of time. We were extremely happy with the job they did and while I probably could have gotten it done for less money, it was worth it since they more than made up for it by the ease of working with them, their professional manner and their good work.

I couldn't be happier with Fairway electric. I dealt mostly with Paul for scheculing and Tommy onsite. They were both extremely friendly, accomodating and professional. They were on time every time. They did runs to home depot for me, made suggestions. There was never an ounce of push back from them, always "yup... we'll do it" which is exactly the answer I wanted to hear. I paid well for their services, but felt everything they billed me for was fair and accounted for. Any time I have electric issues, I will continue to use them. I had several different contractors working on my house simultaneously, and it really made clear who was lacking and who was shining. Fariway Electric was on top. Highly reccomend.

Not good at all! After describing the needed work in detail and emailing them the specifications for the generator, we scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The appointment was scheduled for 10am, and when 11am came and went I called to see where they were. They had forgotten! Luckily, they had someone on hand and sent someone over to the property by noon. The person they sent out for the estimate seemed very professional. He seemed straight forward and honest, gathered the necessary information, and after calling the company owner, gave us a rough estimate. It was high, but seemed fair. The technician told us we would receive a call about scheduling when to remove the generator after we took care of disconnecting the gas line. We had the gas line disconnected the next day, so the generator was ready for removal. So far so good. However, we did not receive a call from Fairway, so we called them. When we spoke to the company owner, hoping to schedule the work, he told us the first technician had forgotten to get some information, so they had to send another person out to look at it before scheduling anything. So we scheduled a second technician, who came and took pictures. However, fifteen minutes after he left he had to come back because he had forgotten to get some of the information he was supposed to! Next, after several calls from Fairway wanting to come do the work on only a moment's notice, we were finally able to schedule the actual work. On the day the generator was supposed to be removed, the technician came out, unhooked some wires, and told us he didn't have the right tools or people to complete the work. This after technicians had been by three times to prepare for what they would need to do! So this technician left with the work unfinished and told us we would get a call later that day about finishing the work. After 5pm, we hadn't received a call, so I called the company owner, and left a voice mail expressing my dissatisfaction with the service thus far, and asking him to call me asap so we could work it out and get the work finished once and for all. I never heard back! They never called us again, and the work was abandoned. We ended up getting someone else to come in and do the work for less than half the price that Fairway had quoted us. All around a very bad experience.

As the landlord and after speaking with my tenants, things proceeded as smoothly as possible. Both sides said things went well and were taken care of promptly. They also informed me of what the problem may be in case of future electrical problems.

Fairway Electric turned out to have a level of professionalism and promptness not seen in many companies today. No wonder, they are highly rated on Angie's list! If I ever need any electrical work done, my first call will be to Fairway Electric!

This was the first time I've used this company. They were responsive (came early the next morning in order to fit me in on less than 24 hours notice), courteous and professional. This was a relatively simple job, but I hadn't been thrilled with my previous electricians so thought it was a good time to look for someone I would want to call when I had bigger jobs in the future, and I definitely plan on calling Fairway again when I need electrical work done.

The over all experience went smoothly and they were very professional and accomadating to our requests. I would recommend them to anyone. They were one of the very few willing to provide a free estimate and easy to work with. They were patient with our requests, communicated well, answered us promptly, and stuck to the budget.

Fairway was fabulous. Paul gave me a quote of price and time and stuck to both. Tommy arrived when he said he would, was neat and friendly, finished everything on my list and cleaned up the debris. I had hired a friend (a licensed electrician) to do a bunch of work on my circa 1949 cottage - 7 months later, he was still not done. I finally gave up, went on Angie's list and hired Fairway. While Tommy was working the first day, he discovered that my friend had left a bunch of electrical wiring unsecured in the crawl space under the house, including some live wires that were just taped and then left on the ground - and that scared me to pieces. Tommy and Paul discussed fixing those problems and on Feb 17th, Tommy came back with Francisco. Between the two of them, they were done with the fix under the house in 1 hour and 10 mins. I'm thrilled with the service and the attention I received from Fairway. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Overall a very good experience with Fairway Electric and I would highly recommend their services. When I turned on my lightswitch, it caused the circuit breaker to trip (this happened twice in a span of a minute). I hadn't used an excessive number of applicances at the time, and was suspicious that something was wrong. Subsequently, I asked Fairway Electric to come out. On that day, they were running behind (around a hour) and forgot to notify me until I called asking where the electrician is (which is why I gave them the "B" for punctuality). I was at work and my mom told the electrician about the problem. While everything seemed to be working fine, he checked the circuit breaker and also ended up checking the light switch panel that caused the circuit breaker to trip as an extra precaution. It turns out that two wires had crossed and were burned. The electrician fixed everything up and everything has been working great ever since. Really happy with the service Fairway Electric provided!

Things ended very well, and Paul was professional to deal with and Tommy did excellent work. The whole job was kind of a pain, as there were so many parties involved, and it seemed pretty new to everyone. Between Paul, the city of RPV, SCE, and the Aerovironment EVSE installers, things took much longer than I expected until the permits were issued, and the charger was activated by Edison, and they cleaned up the new entrance wiring. All in all, it went about as well as it could have.

Overall experience went really well. The service was good from start to finish -- I cannot believe someone answered the phone at 6:30am!
