First, I apologize for my untimely review. Paul and company provided prompt professional and friendly service at what I consider a very reasonable price. All work was done as scheduled. Excellent craftsmanship, debris cleaned. I will definitely use Fairway Electric again soon.

Tommy does excellent work. He anticipated an installation problem, avoiding an extra visit. He took his time in order to do the job correctly and he did. The workmanship is terrific.

It went well. Tommy had to come back out, since the pool table light was higher on one side. He made some adjustments and everything looks great now.

The work itself was great. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and were friendly and knowledgable. They really did a great job and the work looks and functions exactly as I had hoped. My only complaint, and it's a tiny one, is that the manager of the business only really communicates via email. That's okay, it's just not my preference. I like to talk to somebody from time to time and get direct communication going. But that said, he was pretty good about responding to emails in a timely way, so it wasn't a huge drawback. But the reason "Responsiveness" got a B and not an A. But everything else went great.

Messaged for service quote, and received response promptly. Looking to hire an electrician to replace all our mismatched outlets & switches (that we will be providing). Rough estimate is high at $600-700, but they explain that the cost is not just replacing devices but to reconfigure the outlets into pig-tail fashion. I understand that it can be "healthier" for the home, by diverting the heat from the device to the splice. I appreciate the honesty of why the estimate is priced higher than competitors. -- 9/25 UPDATE Reading the company response, I would like to maintain the Rating i've posted. B= Good Here is their response received 9/17 via Angie's List Message system "Is the home still empty, not much furniture to move from the walls. Also just replacing the devices or reconfiguring the wires to what's called a pig-tail fashion. The pig tail fashion is much healthier for your home. It diverts the heat from the device to the splice. This is just for the outlets. Its not common the switches need this type of application. So you looking at $600.00 - $700.00 Please use my direct e mail fairwayelectric@sbcglobal.net for your reply" & to address Fairway Electric's response: "I answered the question right away." - i agree & gave A=Excellent for responsiveness "The price came from the quantity of devices." - understood, & i gave C=fair for price "under on the request. I gave options and also suggested additional ways to save money. Based on if we or the customer were to move items out of the rooms if needed." - Unclear, the response didn't clarify that there was a certain price reduction "We never heard back or worked with this customer. It is nice that they would work with me again. But we have not worked with them prior." - exactly, I checked mark off NO under serviced performed by the provider. "As always we are here to serve. We would like to do things the Fairway" - thank you, & therefore i stated that i appreciate their honesty & for the company to come back & nitpick, i actually should decrease the Professionalism Rating to C=Fair or D=Bad, but i'm not here to t**** anyone's reputation. Just wanted the share my experience.

Tommy and Chris were highly professional, knowledgeable, courteous, personable and efficient. We will certainly retain their services again for future electrical work. Very satisfied.

Didn't want to replace my entire electric panel, but Fairway Electric made it painless. It was a big job, but they gave me the lowest estimate by far. That worried me a bit, but my fears went away after talking with the crew and seeing how they work. Very professional. I'm looking forward to using them again. They're nice and friendly, and their work has earned my trust!

This is the email I just had to send to this electrician: I'M not sure what's going on as I really thought you guys were extremely professional last time you were over for work. However it just took you 5 days to respond to an email (and phone call) when you said you would get back to me in 15-20 minutes. Yesterday I had to call you to see what happened and you said you'd get back to me last night, I also told you Friday was my best day to meet. I was very clear that if you didn't get back to me last night I would go with someone else. It's now the next morning and you want to come by today. If this is how you respond to me just needing an estimate you are clearly not the right company for this expensive job.

This was a job called in--from out of town--to be done in Canaga Park. The owner understood the problem; called my mother--verifying that he received the call--and would send a technician the next morning. And that he did. My mother reported that the technician was curtious, punctual and respectful--and the problem identified and repaired in less than 2 hours. She was thrilled with the service; and I was comforted (still out of town), knowing that it was safe for her to turn on the lights. Thank you Paul

he removed an old fan and put in a new fan. he was punctual, courteous, fair priced. he was the only one i called who called be back right away and agreed to come out on saturday afternoon. i would definately use him again. he had a slight problem with the fan. he said he would have to come back on monday, early in the morning to finish the job. he was going to send two workers to finish the job. this fan was a two man job. not only did they show up bright and early on Monday morning but the price stayed the same. i really appreciate a man who keeps his word. i have used numerous electricians in the past but for the future Farway is the only one I would call now

Paul Harris is the owner of Fairway Electrics and is a great electrician with an amazing eye. He knows his stuff. He can be a little hard to reach sometimes, and I know it's because he is very busy. He has a few guys that work for him that he sends over when he personally cannot be at a job. Most of the time these guys are also excellent, although we did have a little problem with one that wasn't quite as experienced. However, Paul made up for it and came over to personally fix the problem when it was realized that this person was in over his head. Overall, it was a good experience and I would absolutely hire Paul and his crew again.

Paul worked with me on setting the appointment and Tommy came out to perform the work. Similar to the previous visits (this was like the 4th visit), Tommy and another worker arrived early and was very professional. They took care in setting up to ensure that the floors were protected. They were also extra careful opening the walls as I have lath and plaster and it is an old house. Tommy was so helpful in ensuring that everything was removed and took care to ensure that everything was clean up afterward. The price from the beginning was always reasonable. This is why I will always rely on Fairway to perform my electrical service.

The electricians showed up on time and completed the job on schedule. The work was excellent - the building inspector noted this as well. The owner was very responsive and the electricians were courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend fairway.

I intentionally wanted a smaller, local provider rather than large chain for responsiveness. This worked out well and you essentially deal with Veronica for all estimates, permits, trouble shooting and arrangements. She was always same day available by email which was efficient and resolved each stage with no need for additional calls, etc. Jerry does the actual installation with crew and is concerned to have a satisfied client and make things right. The job was done on schedule and as with most projects the few work arounds necessary for minor unplanned changes were worked out on budget. The system is high quality and they are available for future problems without having to go through anonymous phone banks and web sites. I got the full federal, state and SCE benefits by purchasing rather than leasing the system with a valuable rate of return over time on the energy now and avoiding future assessments and rate increases from utility (they are requesting 12-18% this year alone). I recommend Moore Solar to get the job done.

PAUL MADE SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS WHICH MY SON APPRECIATED. HE INSTALLED ALL OUTLETS PERFECTLY, HUNG 4 RECTANGULAR LITES AND FOUND US A GREAT DRYWALL GUY, AS WELL. HE KEPT US INFORMED OF EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING, AND I WAS IN A BIG RUSH TO GET THINGS DONE WHILE I WAS OUT THERE (MY SON WORKS A LOT AND WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO MEET WITH MANY PEOPLE, SO I TOOK OVER) AND PAUL COORDINATED WITH THE DRYWALL GUY AND GOT EVERYTHING DONE IN TIME. WE WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM WHEN WE RENOVATE EACH YEAR.

Paul is amazing! I emailed him via angieslist website and he immediately got back to me (within 15 minutes). I explained what I needed: we have a huge UPS system in my Server room at my business that we needed to bypass. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We set up a time to meet in person so that he could see what I needed done. He was on time and very, very helpful. He went above and beyond with his willingness to assist me with this electrical issue - all without even being "officially" hired to do the job. He even participated in a conference call with my landlord and IT manager in order to explain what we needed done and educated the landlord on a few things in the process. Again - all of this help without even being hired yet. We are awaiting approval from my landlord to move forward with this fix. I would hire Paul in a heartbeat. I trust him and that he will get the job done correctly and in the most efficient manner. I look foward to working with him very soon.

Good - technicians were on time and very professional.

Paul had a crew on the area and was able to Send them to us soon after my call. They were detained at the previous job and he called to let me know they would be 1/2 hour late. They fixed the problems within an hour in a professional way and were very responsible! I have already called them about an issue at my son's home nearby. I recommend them highly!

First, I was in the middle of minor remodel and wanted to get electrical work completed before we had a new floor installed. Fairway was scheduled to start on 4/10 between 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM, they did have an emergency customer which caused a delay. To compensate, they sent 2 crews as soon as they were available in the afternoon. Tommy showed up first and started the work and getting everything prepped. Since I wanted the square outlets instead of the round ones and it would take a while for the rest of the work to be completed, I was able to run to Home Depot and get the type of outlets and face plates I wanted. When I returned, the 2nd crew had arrived and were in the middle of installing the floor outlet and the wiring for the dedicated circuit. They replace the outlets that had been installed with the the ones I purchased and installed the face places I had bought. I let them know that I was getting new wood flooring. They suggested that I wait until the flooring was installed to finalize the installation of the floor outlet. The left the receptacle in place with power turned off and the box for the kit. Fairway was flexible in working with me to determine a date that they could return to complete the floor installation. They returned on 4/20 and collaborated with the flooring installer to finalize the fit and finish of the new floor outlet. I'm very happy with the work completed. For 8 years, I have been running an extension cord from our garage to the home office (dining area) so that the circuit would not short out. I was happy at find out how reasonable it was to add a new dedicated circuit and outlets so our home office and the floor outlet are on a their own circuit and I don't need to run extension cord along the living room walls. I appreciate their flexibility in working around the moving time-line of our floor installation so that it all came together in the end.

All the work performed appears to be excellent, and we have had no problems since it was performed. All the electricians were very helpful and nice through out their visit. We asked for and received an estimate for replacing two panels (one to increase service, the other because it's a hazard), and we intend to them for the additional work.

This is the 2nd time we've used them, and we will use them in the future. They are professional, reasonably priced and really collaborative.

They were very nice and sent out an employee to evaluate the situation. He was prompt, polite, professional and accommodating. He told me he'd give the owner the information and the owner would call me with an estimate by the end of the day. That didn't happen. The owner was very good at responding to email and phone calls, but not at actually taking steps to begin the project. He kept having personal issues that interfered with his follow-through. He was good about telling me why he had not figured out an estimate, but never actually did one. I was asking to have a Chevy Volt charging station installed and after I called this company, Chevy gave me the number of the company that does this work for them. I told Fairway that I was talking with the other company and even sent them the specs the other company had sent me along with their URL. Fairway expressed interest in competing with them but never followed through so I contracted with the other company.

Paul and the team performed flawlessly from estimate to installation to even cleanup.

We were delighted that owner Paul Harris was able to set up our appointment within a day of our initial call and also provided the proof of insurance our HOA requires. This morning, Tommy arrived early, which was great for us! My husband explained his concerns regarding the electrical box for a light fixture he had removed. Tommy gave it a thorough safety check and then installed the new light fixture. We couldn't have been happier to have it installed with such efficiency! Later this morning Paul called to check in and make sure we were satisfied with the service. Unexpectedly great follow through! Our HOA has used Fairway Electric in the past, but this was our first in-home experience. We will certainly call them again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors!
