They showed up on time. Found the problem right away and promptly fixed it. I was trouble shooting for hours before I broke down and called these guys. Thank goodness I did. Oscar and Christian were great!

I contacted emailed Paul on a Saturday after I tried to install a new ceiling fan myself. I got to a point where I couldn't fit the remote receiver into the hanger bracket due to the electrical box not sitting flush. That and the extra wires for the ceiling fan and the lights gave me pause. I decided I needed a professional since I was going to most likely damage something by wiring it wrong. Paul returned my email, but explained that he was out of town and couldn't schedule me until he was back Sunday night. Fair enough. They do say they have weekend hours which is why I contacted his company in the first place but I'm sure that's for the week ahead schedule. He emailed me Sunday night as promised and scheduled Oscar to come out between 7-730am. Oscar arrived at 730am. He was very professional and had to do some work to get the bracket to work. He tested out everything and was done by 9:15am. They gave me what I consider to be a fair price. I will be using them again to hang some lights in my bedroom very soon. Highly recommended.

we had intended to do it ourselves, but weren't sure about the wiring as it wasn't straightforward. Oscar came out and was very professional and did the job quickly and explained everything he did. As we have an older house I asked him if the wiring was a problem and he said you should check the breaker box.. he did this and verified that ours was no problem. I really appreciated their integrity and honesty! I will definitely call them again if I need any further electrical work!!

They came out same day and fixed the problem of lights not working in a cost effective way. They also replaced the flood lights and ballasts and were able to repair several other electrical issues in the building. I highly recommend them and will use them again -- they are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, prompt and do excellent work.

We are very satisfied with the work done by Paul and Fairway Electric. Upgrading the existing 1926 electrical system in our home was no easy task! Our home is now up to date with the current electrical code and we can enjoy it's historic beauty with modern electrical conveniences. Paul was very helpful throughout the project with many thoughtful recommendations on lighting fixtures and placement. We would definitely recommend his company.

Great working the scheduling with Paul. Paul and his team worked around my schedule. They are very professional and came to my house at the exact time for estimate and installation. Tommy even fixed one of my existing outlet in my garage that was missing a ground. Now we just need to wait on city's schedule to inspect the level II charger installation. I will definitely call Paul on my future electrical needs in the house.

We recently bought a new home. The design of the home was very unique and had exposed beamed ceilings with virtually no crawl spaces. It was also sitting on a concrete foundation (no lower crawl space) making it a real challenge to conceal wiring. We had a number of electrical outlets installed, several ceiling fans and a multitude of audio video and network cabling. They pulled all of the necessary cables for the AV and network throughout the house. They also helped setup a small equipment room to which all of the cabling was terminated including installing necessary outlets and thermostat controlled cooling fan for the room. They were in our home for a period of several weeks installing outlets and other wiring. They had anywhere from 2 to 3 workers on site at any one time. Paul the owner came out frequently to check on the status of the work and to provide whatever expertise was necessary. The work they did was great. They took great care to minimize the drywall cuts and of equal importance, they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. They were always on time and if there was an issue they called first thing in the morning to provide a revised start time. Since completing their work, Paul has sent me several emails to follow up on the work and see if there was anything else they could do. Their pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely use them in the future.

Paul, (owner) responded immediately for estimate request, Tommy showed up that afternoon. Tommy was very polite and informative. Gave me a price with an option for labor only, plus a price list for parts. I bought the parts myself to save money. Both Paul and Tommy followed up the next day and we agreed to have the work done two days later. Confirmed apt at 10:00 am the night before. Oscar and Tommy showed up on time. Prepped the area with blankets. Mapped out the can lights on ceiling and asked me if that was where I wanted them installed, yes. They got to work and had the work done within two hours, including clean up. They had to drill and fish-tape down one of walls and tap into the kitchen light for junction onto the patio. No issues on the install. Great guys, I would recommend them to anyone. .

I originally called Paul because my 3 year old EV charging station stopped working. The fuse box, located between the main electrical panel and the charging station, had melted. Paul discovered multiple errors in the installation by the original contractor. He was very careful in helping me identify and document these errors so that I could communicate with both the City and the original contractor. The work was done promptly, thoroughly, and professionally. The price seemed reasonable, although I did not have any expectation of what it should cost. Thanks to Paul, I have already received reimbursement from the original contractor for their shoddy work.

Installed 240V EV charger circuit and installed the EV charger. The work was performed very professionally. The visible conduits look very nice. Paul as well as the technicians are very knowledgeable. The technicians listened to suggestions and made accommodations. The communication with Paul was excellent and he advised in advance the challenges that might come across and gave a firm price if it happens to be that way. The subsequent communication post work has been so far very pleasant.

I called with a last minute request and they were able to schedule me early in the morning the next day to get it done. Tommy was here on time and was very nice - didn't mind me hovering over him to see what he was doing so I could understand what the problem was. He was very willing to explain and show me everything. When the fuse turned out not to be the problem he was willing to pull out the electrical over out (with the help of my husband) to look behind (those things are heavy). I will definitely be calling them again when I need electrical work done in the house - the experience was very good.

Lost power to a circuit covering a portion of master bedroom and bathroom. Resetting breakers did not resolve issue but I could restore power for momentarily by fiddling with wires in another room. Was thoroughly confused. Called Fairway and set up appointment for next morning at 8 am. They arrived on time, identified the problem and replaced the faulty outlet receptacle in about 15 minutes. The fix was so fast and efficient, they charged less than the agreed upon trip minimum. Very good experience.

I called Thursday morning. Paul answered the phone and set an appt. the following morning and told me the exact price. Oscar showed up precisely at the appointed time (actually he told me he had been there early but was afraid to wake us so he waited until exact time) He was incredibly efficient and quickly and neatly switched out the fan and balanced it.No surprises No delays

Appointment was set for 7:00-8:00am, the technician was there by 7:05. He was friendly and easy to work with, and arrived ready to get the job done. Everything was finished in about 2 hours, and was completed without incident. All work was neat and professional, and the process was explained along the way. I spoke with Paul several times via email getting the visit scheduled, and received a follow-up call from him after the work was done. From start to finish, he made sure we were happy and taken care of. We will definitely call Fairway again for our electrical needs, and would recommend them to our friends.

We had a 7:30 AM appointment. I specifically told Paul through email and a phone conversation that I have a meeting at 8:30 AM in Brentwood and to please be on time. At 7:40 AM, I called to see where they were. Paul said he had to call "his guy" to see where he was. Paul calls back saying they can't make it as his guy's kid "had a split joint"....blah blah... He wanted to reschedule and of course I will not reschedule. The least Paul could have done was to value my time and call me and cancel as opposed to stand me up. No one likes to be stood up period let alone at 7:30 AM. I hope Paul will make changes to his scheduling system and value people's time more and perhaps keep a better eye on his guys.

Everyone on the team was excellent, Paul the owner got back to me always in a timely manner and came x 2 to check on the job. Tommy did the estimate and gave very good advice about rewire up to code importance. The Team that worked on my house was very professional (Tommy, Poncho, Oscar and Jaime). Always cleaned up at the end of each day, kept me informed about what was being done and any issues. I work from home and the whole team was very accomodating in making sure I had power to my home office and doing work early or during my lunch hour in my office. The city home inspector came to my home on 5/1914 to check on the completed work done and inspector said, "I wish all the panels I inspected were like this one." GREAT JOB!

We hired Paul because he answered our call after hours, when we discovered that our refrigerator and freezer had stopped working sometime earlier in the day. He was very friendly and helpful and willing to come to the house around 9pm in order to restore power to the refrigerator. Although he could not fix the problem that night, he tested the breaker and made a recommendation to have appliance repairman come out. The next day, he coordinated with the repairman and sent an electrician out to replace our faulty circuit breaker. Given the situation, we felt that his fee was very reasonable and he did everything possible to help us get power back.

I appreciate the service performed. The price was reasonable and the job performed effectively. After the GFC outlets were installed, I was having trouble using one of them. Turned out I just needed to hit the reset button, but being clueless, I called Paul and he sent an employee out to check it for me. This is an example of customer service that I appreciate - not only was the job done correctly the first time, but Paul cares about his work and wants to make sure each customer is satisfied.

This is the second time we've used Fairway Electric's services - and we wouldn't hesitate to do it again. They are quick to respond to email requests (which saved us 15%) and arranged an appointment quickly. The electrician was careful to place a drop cloth beneath his work area and answered all of our questions about the install.

Minor hiccup in the beginning with the schedule, but they followed up and got the job done quickly. They were courteous, informative and the price was quite reasonable. I will use them again when the need arises.

It took him 1-1/2 hours and cleaned up all debris. Francisco was friendly, professional and neat. I would highly recommend him and would call Fairway for any future electrical work.

The good news: Tommy did a fine job of installing the replacement ceiling fan and fluorescent strip light. Both operate perfectly. He cleaned up and mostly took trash to garbage can. (We both failed to notice the fan box - no big deal.) Tommy is friendly and helpful. I pointed out the wobbly ceiling fan in my bedroom and asked if he thought I could use the balancing kit provided with the new fan to balance the older, wobbly one. He checked out the fan, tightened a number of screws, and the fan now operates absolutely smoothly. I was grateful for this little extra, which I would not have been able to achieve myself. The not-so-good news: Company owner, Paul Harris, operates primarily through e-mail. If he is in the office, he will pick up the phone. However, it appears he does not carry a cell phone, nor is there a voicemail box. I found that this set-up made scheduling difficult. Also, Paul would not confirm a specific day or time until quite close to the day of service. I felt as if I did not have much of a choice as to timing. More important, although I was given a window of 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tommy did not actually arrive until 12:20 p.m. While waiting, I tried calling Paul several times, to no avail. This left me stewing over my wasted time and wondering whether Tommy would come at all. I did not receive a phone call from Tommy to let me know he would arrive in the next 15 minutes to half-an-hour. This is something service people generally provide these days. Tommy apologized for being late and said the problem was that he had a prior call scheduled in a location that was quite distant from my home. When I spoke to Paul, he too was extremely apologetic and indicated he had thought I had a later window. (Not so.) Paul noted he had had some activity with his children. This would have been fine if I had been able to reach him by phone to confirm that Tommy would still be coming. There was also some confusion about payment. I had purchased a "coupon" for ceiling fan installation for $99. I failed to mention this to Tommy, so I paid the full price of $185 and then had to arrange for an exchange of checks to account for the error. Perhaps this was entirely my fault, but I believe Paul was mad aware of my coupon purchase by Angie's List and should have alerted Tommy. I had expected the overall price to be lower than it was because of the special "coupon". However, Paul advised that this is a problem with Angie's List, and that his "regular" price for ceiling fan installation is $99. My clear recollection from pre-service communication is that he quoted his "regular" price as $125. I decided not to argue about this, especially given Tommy's extra attention to my bedroom fan.
