We really wanted like this place and were hoping to get the work done through here. They are local and have a good selection of windows. We weren't sure in the beginning what we exactly wanted, so we did have a lot of questions. After that, we settled on Fleetwood.The sales person Tommy was very hard to get hold of either by phone of email, and the subcontractor Ross was non-responsive after we decided to go with just one three panel sliding door instead doing the whole house. It would have been still about $5K-6K job including the sliding door and labor, but we just couldn't get a written bid from the subcontractor Ross. Also, the measurement seemed to be off by 1", but we could not get a clear answer from either Tommy or Ross for the non-refundable custom order.Eventually we called again -to verify that our order didn't go through with wrong measurements and with the contractor being unresponsive - and got Jason, another sales person, who told us that he would send us another bid right away and get their own installation department in touch with us. It's been a week already, and he is not getting back to us, either. I don't get it.Another company came out and took measurements which were indeed an inch off vertically, and 1/2" off horizontally. After a lot of frustration and wasted time in waiting, we are planning to stay away. And from the way they have treated us, they won't miss us, either.

From the time I made the initial phone call through to the installation, AS&D made the whole process easier. I am a stickler for customer service and for that I give them an A+. Joe also had recommended a carpenter to install the door, with who's work we were also pleased. I definitely would buy at Agoura Sash and Door again and would recommend them.

Joe Windsor, the salesman, spent an entire afternoon with me and my wife explaining our options for replacing all the windows and sliding doors in our home. He recommended the Milgard retrofit windows, because of the cost difference and because we were not planning to re-stucco the exterior. He showed us the different styles we could choose from, and went over the features and options, including tempering, selection of different grades of UV coating and protection, and how best to select the level of protection depending on the amount of sun exposure a window receives. We were interested in changing some of our window styles which were combination single pane with bottom sliders into picture windows. Joe informed us of the code requirements for egress in the bedrooms, and rooms that have been converted, but that are still considered bedrooms, according to code. He told us we could have picture windows in non-bedrooms, but were required to have partial or full sliders in the bedrooms. He also told us that the code requires tempering of windows that extend down to within 18 inches of the floor, provided us with the associated delta costs, and showed us how we could tailor our window designs based on cost and looks. Joe was very knowledgeable professional, patient and thorough. He helped us design each window, and made sure that our designs provided enough egress that the code required. We ended up with windows designs that we are extremely happy with. Joe also spend a great deal of time helping us navigate the options for front doors, handles and locks. Joe was always available to answer questions and to provide information. He gave us his office phone number and personal cell phone number. Joe was responsive in answering our calls and at times emailed us with updated estimates as we finalized our window designs and order. He even called us several times during his time off work to answer our questions. Mark Santillano, the installer, was amazingly good, thorough and professional. He took all the measurements for ordering the windows, and did the installation himself. He measured everything twice, and consequently all of the windows fit perfectly. He removed all of the windows and doors in the morning, and installed all of the new doors and windows in the afternoon. On the second day, he did the finish work, which included final caulking the exterior seams of the windows, and finishing the interior window trim. He paid close attention to detail, which resulted in beautiful windows and trim. Mark also told us how Agoura Sash & Door installs windows so that exterior flanges do not overlap window trim, which makes it easy to remove and replace trim without affecting the windows. He pointed out several homes on our block which had flanges overlapping trim, and informed us that the manufacturer's warranty was voided in those installations. Mark was a very experienced installer who had been originally trained by the manufacturer. He installed and sealed the windows according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Mark also pointed out to us that we had one trim board that had evidence of termites, and recommended that we have our home inspected as soon as possible for potential termite infestation. Mark did a great job installing a new door frame, hanging our front doors and installing the hardware. He came back and separately extended the frame of our shutters over the sliding patio doors in 2 rooms, because the handles extended out further than the original doors. He charged a reasonable fee for this (as it was not originally bid), and did a very professional job. Agoura Sash & Door honored their advertised senior discount and Angie's list discount. We are extremely pleased with our entire buying experience with them, as well as the finished product. They provided us with beautiful windows and doors, at a reasonable price, using a very experienced and professional installer. I would not hesitate to recommend Agoura Sash & Door to others and to use them again in the future.

Agoura Sash and Door has a wide selection of quality products from all wood to aluminum or fiberglass clad doors. The showroom is also great for selecting hardware. The prices are reasonable. We worked with Virginia Geen who was most helpful in selecting the doors and windows and recommending an installer. She was meticulous so that all of the doors were correct (example: outswing versus inswing; left or right handed doors, etc.) The doors and windows were ready when promised and the company was very accommodating when we asked them to store the doors and windows in the warehouse for an extended period of time. We had to delay installation due to a leak in a 2nd story deck because the leak would have damaged some of the new doors. I would highly recommend this company.

Worked with Jewell, and he was very professional and really knew the product. He was able to value engineer our quote and save us money while giving us the product and look we wanted. Product shipped on time and they installed the Windows and doors in a timely fashion with no issues. They were especially knowledgeable with regards to the waterproofing of the windows and doors. Would work with them in the future.

I was very pleased and they were very efficient. They are very well known in the area.

Jeff, the salesperson was courteous, helpful and honest. Keith, the installer was meticulous, polite and clean. This is an important improvement and I would recommend this duo to anyone. In fact, I would not entrust this work to anyone else.

The gentleman that we worked with is named Tim Davis. He was very helpful. He came out to the house a couple of times to make sure the measurements were right. He didn't push us to buy something that wasn't appropriate for our house. He answers questions and responds quickly to phone calls. He was a nice guy to work with and we felt we could trust him.

We were referred to Agoura through our HOA for the replacement of our windows and sliding glass patio door. The sales staff at Agoura were very helpful and responsive to our request. They provided us with accurate turn around times and coordinated the referral to an installer, Keith Campbell, who was top-notch. I would definitely recommend Agoura to anyone looking to purchase windows.

Their prices were a little more than other companies offering the same thing. However I was not upset about the prices because of their service. The salesman, Jeff Johnson, that we worked with was very helpful and responsive. They did not do the installation, we had another company do this for us. They were very helpful in getting the timing and in organizing the project. We would use them again and would recommend them. They were helpful in coordinating with the contractor which was helpful to us. The approximate cost listed was for the windows and doors, labor was not included.

I LOVE IT ITS SOMETHING THAT EVERYONE CAN LOOK AT. I NEVER HAVE TO USE WINDEX AGAIN. I LOVE THIS COMPANY. I WILL SUGGEST IT TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
