Called Westchester Plumbing after being informed by my tenants that the kitchen drain was draining exceptionally slow. I called WP at 11:45 and they were there at that apartment 90 minutes later. They took care of business, cleaning the drain all the way to the main line. The problem is that the pipes are old and the diameter of the sewer pipes is decreasing.

When I contacted Westchester Plumbing I was given a detailed explanation. Ray Hernandez, the company representative, came out to look at the system, he told me roughly what he thought it would cost. He followed up with me to set an appointment, sent out two people, one of which was in charge, Tony was in charge, which is part of my criteria. Tony went in to detail to explain to me exactly how the system worked, the previous company did not do this, and it was greatly appreciated. The take a ways of this company are that they showed up on time, were very responsive, upfront with what they were going to charge, very efficient, and did what they said they were going to do. I am very pleased, and I do plan to use them again for a major plumbing job.

Fantastic! What a Great Experience! From Start to Finish the team worked extremely hard, they were polite, friendly, neat, and professional! Original thought was to get it done in a day - but we went into 2 full days - NO extra cost charged (really loved that) and a couple quick fix's inside the house for no charge (awesome right!?) Clean up was great - If every job could be this easy it would be a lot more fun to have work done on the house! - I need to have a gas line run to a grill and outdoor fire pit and will be calling Westchester Plumbing for that - I would recommend them to everyone! Thank You Gentlemen!!

Installation of all copper piping for new remodel. Interpreted architectural and kitchen design drawings to place pipes for finish plumbing. Crew is extremely professional and willing to get dirty to do the job correctly. I have used them over the years for maintenance and repairs in two homes. I like them and there commitment to getting the job done right.

Ok, despite the rave reviews of this company, this is a very FLAKY operation. I was initially impressed with how fast Ray got his guys out to snake a shower and caulk a leaky toilet. I just purchased this home and during their visit, I requested an estimate for copper plumbing. I was told on that day that I would receive an estimate by the end of the day, at the latest, the following day. 3 days went by. No estimate. A week went by. No estimate. So I called Ray and he apologized profusely, stating how busy he's been and that I would get the estimate by the end of the day. The end of the day came, no estimate, a week went by, no estimate. 2 weeks went by, no estimate. That was 2 months ago. So I called again today and decided to give Westchester Plumbing ONE MORE CHANCE, since the guys that came out were so nice. Ray apologizes profusely once again, saying he forgot about my estimate. So I ask him if he can install a pedestal sink and new toilet. He tells me that not only will he have 2 guys out here TODAY to install both, but that he himself would personally show up to give me the copper plumbing estimate. The 2 guys arrived on time, which was great, but then, once they called Ray at the office to get the cost for the pedestal sink and toilet installation, Ray tells them to tell me that they'll have to reschedule the installation because they've scheduled other jobs today and this installation would take too long!! WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME!! And Ray had the audacity to get short with me on the phone, as if this was somehow a miscommunication on MY part!! This company is very flakey!! Thanks for NOTHING Ray.

Great Tim was professional, polite and on time. Price seemed reasonable unlike other gougings I've experienced with various plumbers in the area. And quick - day of service!

We used them every six months. They come in and they basically do a preemptive sewer maintenance. We clean out our sewer line because we happen to live in a older area where they have roots. They came out and snake out our lines right to the street. They do a very good price with pricing. Their quality of work is excellent and they're really good at responding. Their responsive is excellent. We've had a couple of emergency backups here where because of the roots in the area in the main sewer everybody is backed up. So, as suppose to waiting for an emergency we basically use them preemptively and it really helps a lot. They're very responsive in terms when we call they've been able to get out pretty quickly and because of that we've learned to do preemptive strikes and do that ahead of time so we don;t have this issues to come up.

They did what they could given the situation. So far we have had no problems after work was completed. They were personable and the follow up was great.

Ray and his guys did a very good job replacing old galvanized pipes (vertical) with copper pipes and installing new lines for refrigerator and dishwasher (we were remodeling our old kitchen that had no dishwasher or water for the fridge). They also replaced the old vent stack for kitchen sink. The crew was very efficient and professional. We used Ray's services on two different occasions, their price was very reasonable and service very good. Will use again in the future and recommend to everyone.
