Valley Relocation & Storage- North American Lines

In getting moving estimates this is one of the companies I called to come out to the house to give an estimate. I scheduled it for Monday, January 19, 2009 at 9:00 am. I asked while scheduling if they work on this day which is the Martin Luther King holiday, and they replied yes. (I wanted to be sure.) I left Monterey County that Monday morning at 5:00 am (where I was visiting family) to be back in Sacramento by 8:00 am in time for the appointment. By 9:45 am, they had not shown up for the appointment. I never received a cancellation call. I never received a follow-up call in subsequent days to reschedule. Nothing. Needless to say I will never contact this company again.

The estimator came promptly and gave us a not to exceed quote. The crew of 4 came and beat the quote by $100. They were extremely polite and took excellent care of our furniture (no dings) despite the fact we had furniture being moved to the second floor. We had just moved out of our home 12 months prior because we were remodeling. Last year, we had chosen another moving company recommended through Angie's List, but we were very disappointed with them. Valley Relocation did our move in a shorter time frame, for less money, and with no damage. We highly recommend them.

The crew was on time, worked hard the whole time and put things where I asked. The biggest thing for me was that the company did not try to cheat me in any way. I would use John (the foreman) and Jesse again. One small thing, I wish they had been more careful with corners, walls, etc., but there was no damage.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS REALLY GOOD. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL WHEN WE WERE READY TO MOVE. THEY LOADED THE TRUCK VERY EFFICIENTLY AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH ALL OF OUR POSSESSIONS.
