They arrived on time. We walked the property to verify the work to be done, made some adjustments and they got right to work. They chipped all of the small stuff, cut what could be burned into the appropriate size for stacking to dry and cleaned everything up. Everyone was friendly, professional, and to watch them maneuver in the trees was amazing. They took every precaution for their safety and the protection of the home and garage. This was the third time I have called Stumpman. They also took out three redwoods in my backyard, their service was also impecable, and they were the lowest of three bids.

They were fast, professional, courteous, and fair. This is the 2nd time we've used Stumpman. They came out a day after we called, giving us both a quote and the tree removal the same day. They took down a large, dead tree right near our house, cut it up, chipped it and removed it.

This is the second time I've used Stumpman, and they again exceeded my expectations. Communication was great, they responded very quickly and scheduled me right in. I greatly appreciate the direct, honest and upfront approach Randy takes - find him very trustworthy. Their work is outstanding. Crews arrive on time (early actually), are courteous and professional, and very good at what they do. My tree was tricky to remove, close to my house with powerlines running right through the branches. They worked quickly and had it done ahead of schedule; did a fantastic job cleaning up after (even swept areas that hadn't been touched in months). Randy called to make sure I was happy the same day (he clearly takes great pride in doing good work.) I give the Stumpman my highest recommendation and will call them again for any trimming needs I have.

On time, and professional. They had to climb the tree to honor the fence line to remove the limbs. They knocked on the neighbor's door to seek permission to take out the limbs at the trunk rather than the fence line which was my wish. Neighbor wasn't home, they honored the fence line. All work was completed and cleaned up.

They were very good, I am very pleased with my tree. It was on a Saturday, it was about two weeks ago, it cost eight hundred and fifty dollars and I gave them a tip on top of that. They were really good. What I liked about them is that they were very patient. I got out there from seven thirty and they were there until a little after eleven. I had a mulberry tree and it had 'suckulars' and they spent a lot of time cutting the 'suckulars' out of that mulberry tree. When I wanted them to work with me and I said "Dude you need to bring this in a little bit". they were willing to do that. I didn't have to debate with them. I said I wanted the tree to have character, I didn't want a lion's tail. They worked with me on that, they worked with me when I asked them to proceed a little more with the tree, but not harm the tree, I am relying on their skills to do that, we talked tree talk. If that makes any sense. The guy who did the cutting was really good, very patient. They cleaned up, no problem, it looks like they never cut the tree at all, everything was swept up. It was clean, they do work with you. I have had tree people come out and the boss only wants certain things done and they won't go past that certain. They were there and I like my tree, it looks kind of mystic. Now I have got eighteen thousand of those little tails and they are falling all over the yard, can you imagine if I didn't cut that tree. They are very polite, and that was real nice, I don't feel like I paid for something and having debate about it. The only thing I wish they did have for themselves was a truck, an expanding truck. I wish they had one of those, I think it would have saved a lot of time. One thing I am concerned about is that he is very much on safety, so his people practiced that. This trimmer was last to the tree. They have this thing where they don't damage the tree with hooks. They don't damage your tree by poking it with shoes spikes, which I didn't want. They are willing to go out on a limb and get everything done possible. It is hard when you are up in that tree with ropes on for safety. He had tree boots, which I don't see. If safety is a big issue, you don't have to worry about them falling. I had this guy in that tree and I will never call him back and the reason for that is that the guy had no safety issues. I was afraid of him falling out of the tree. We paid him nine hundred dollars and this guy is jumping from branch to branch, I was afraid he would fall out and I will be sued. He was polite and easy to talk to. My concern was always don't hurt my tree but cut it the best. They cut nice, they cut over the street nice, they cut over my roof nice and they cut on the side nice. I wish they had the vehicle to go a little higher, the truck because even though they are as awesome as can be, that can be a real asset also. I hope they can get that down the road for themselves. That's the only thing I would say is about the truck, but otherwise 'A' plus. No one complains about good service. A lady doesn't want to complain about excellent service. Polite, neat, clean and works with you. Tell the people he talks tree talk. I can't complain about them, you cant complain about politeness, you can't complain about people listening to you, you cant complain about a person who knows trees- that's my main concern, for the safety of my tree. You can't complain about because they clean up. They are just top. They were really good. They are not expensive, they were less than I paid for my tree. They did not give me half forty minutes, they didn't give me like a forty minutes and someone coming up and saying, "You ready to leave now?" They gave me all the time I needed to get what I needed done. They are not expensive, they were less than the nine hundred dollars I paid before.

Removal of two large trees in front of our home. The birch was rather tall and wedged between our neighbors fence and some azalea bushes. I was amazed that neither looked touched at all after the removal.
