I purchased Angie's List Deal of the Day, six hours of handyman services for $199. I received a call from the Vendor stating they would not honor the Angie's List Deal and told me to contact Angie's List for a full refund. The reason the vendor gave was Angie's List made a mistake on their listing and that their company does not offer handyman services, only major home remodeling projects. I am still waiting for my refund. This was my first Angie's List experience and thus far not a pleasant one.

I am writing to update my review and change my score for Metro Builders. I gave Erez a second chance and had him send me a guy to do some demolition work on my garage. Although the worker arrived over an hour late, he worked very hard for the 6 hours and accomplished quite a bit more than I had hoped. I was pleased enough with the work and with Erez' responsiveness that I am asking him to bid on the next phase of my project. For me, follow through and doing what you say is extremely important and Erez has shown those qualities with his follow-up. After I wrote my initial review the owner of the company, Erez called me to try to rectify the situation. At first I was reluctant to give his company a second chance but he was determined. He offered to do the 6 hours of work for free in order to earn my business and perhaps change my initial impression of his company. As a man of my word, I only want what I paid for but I appreciated the gesture and agreed to meet. Erez came over this morning to evaluate the job and apologized for the miscommunication I had with his sales rep. It was obvious that he understood how important customer relations are to his business and I decided to give them a second chance to do the work. After the work has been completed I will update my review and be able to give them an accurate grade. I thought it was a fair deal for 6 hours of labor. I called them and they responded and got out pretty quickly, but when they came out to assess what I wanted, he told me he could not do the work unless I had an electrician come out as well. I understand the liability with that, but I know that would be a pretty costly task. When they told me they couldn't do the work with my garage, I gave them a couple other projects I needed done, one being a door and some interior handyman stuff as well. He told me he could not do the work because it would require 2 guys, and I showed him on the coupon where it had said two guys may be used and he still said he could not honor the coupon.

THE PLANS WAS APPROVED IN 5 DAYS IN CITY OF CAMARILLO. THE CUSTOM GOURMET KITCHEN & THE 2 BATH ROOMS WITH SLABS OF MARBLE. THE HARD WOOD FLOORING AND THE TRAVERTINE INSTALLATION IS AMAZING AND SO ACCURATE. THE SWIMMING POOL AND THE HARDSCAPING WITH THE LANDSCAPE LIGHTING IS BEAUTIFUL AT NIGHT. This is the second time I've used Metro.

I had a lot of fears going into this type of project.I heard from many people that contractors never stand behind the original budget that they quote and that really scared me. Luckily that was not the case with us. Not only that we stayed on our budget,In many cases the contractor added some free upgrades that we did not even ask for at the original contract : He built a sitting bench for the steam shower and installed a decorative fans in both rooms .There were so many other little thing that if I would add all them It would easily sum to $4000-$5000. For me this is a great customer service and if I ever need to do some more remodeling in my house I will surly call this company and reefer all my friends to them.

METRO BUILDERS AND REMODELING JUST FINISHED THE PROJECT LAST MONTH AND ITS LOOK AMAZING !!! NOW ALL THE NEIGHBORS WANTS TO DO THE SAME. EREZ FROM METRO BUILDERS FUND THIS HARD TO FIND VERY RARE GRANITE FOR THE BBQ COUNTER TOP. THE GUYS DID THE STONE INSTALLATION ARE PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS. NICE, CLEAN, SMOOTH.

They started in april and finished in about 4 months.

We started out with signing a contract with Metro Builders for plans to be drawn up for our addition. That part went very well. We discussed our wishes and needs with EREZ at length. When he came back to us with our plans we were extremely pleased and could not wait to begin! He understood what we wanted very well and it showed in the plans that were made for us and then they were off to the city for approval. About a week later the permits were pulled and we were ready to begin. What I loved about working with Metro is that they made everything simple and manageable. Nothing was a big deal, and everything was handled in such a way that it was little to no stress for me as much as possible. They understood that I needed to be out of the property as little as possible( being that we are a family of 5 including my two dogs). I appreciated the fact that they were so considerate of my family and my pets and understood how hard it would be for us to be away from our home for a long period of time. They informed me that the day the permits are pulled I will be leaving my home as the construction was to begin that very next day. They worked quickly and diligently, and when the majority of the work was done they allowed us to move back in. The major construction didn?t take as long as I feared. I was impressed how fast construction would progressed every single day. They worked around me and my family and were very accommodating. I believe we worked well together because of the way this company runs their business. They are always available whether it was by email or phone. The lines of communications were always open. They genuinely cared about our project as if they were building their own home. They informed us of every step before it happened so we were always prepared. There was always someone managing the project and making sure everything was done perfectly. I appreciate very much that they helped me get as much as I could possibly get and stay within my budget. They were always advising me on the best and most cost effective way to get what I wanted. I am so happy with the professionalism and kindness they showed to me and my family. Every person I worked with was courteous, informative and helpful. We all got very close through the months of construction and I am proud to tell everyone that Metro Builders and Remodeling is not only the company that remodeled our home, but they are our friends now too.

We have worked with Metro Builders and Remodeling on several projects in our house in Malibu over the last 7 years ranging from a 5 bath rooms remodel, kitchen, windows and doors, roofing & paint the exterior. Our first project was a one bath room remodel a 7 years ago. The work was performed while we were working and living in the house, and Metro Builders took great care to make sure everything is perfect, The work was finished beautifully, on time and on budget in just a two weeks. In 2010 we began a complete kitchen renovation , plus exterior land/hard scape, fencing and a high tech security system. Metro Builders team were consummate professionals interacting not only with us but also our neighbors next to the property. everything was done including plumbing, custom Marble slabs install in the shower and on the walls, electrical wiring, 5 bathrooms and bedrooms were completely redone. We added central HVAC, surround sound wiring, redid the floors, the windows and brought the framing up to code. When we encountered problems with City inspectors requesting changes to our original scope, Metro Builders worked diligently to ensure that the disruption to our project was minimal. Our project manager developed a solid relationship with inspectors, planning departments, engineers and the building department in Malibu, critical in a project of this scope. Every trade that Metro Builders brought to our job site did a fantastic job and exceeded our expectations. Whether it was the tile or marble guys & plumbers for 5 bathrooms. we replaced the sewer line *before* putting the new pavers in on top, everyone worked together to make sure things were done right, in the most efficient order, and in the most cost effective way. After we completed the interior, we moved on to bring a new look to the exterior of the property. With new windows and doors and paint of the exterior, the challenges of working within people's schedules and 4 legged friends can be challenging. We've never had a single issue, in fact many members of the Metro Builders team have gone above and beyond helping with every little "While you're here can you look at this little thing" or "Hey I broke my bedroom door can you help me replace it?" As a landlord it's incredibly helpful to have a contractor who is willing to be part of the daily solution. As the exteriors came together, Metro Builders brought in the most beautiful paving stones, and an amazing crew to install them in 90+ degree heat. The custom fabricated fences that came after that were beautiful and met our design concept perfectly. The security & camera system installed covers every inch of the property and gives us a great peace of mind. Communication and the ability to solve problems as they arise are the key to any successful project. Ours was no exception. With daily updates and weekly scheduling, we always had a very clear picture of what was being done, when, by whom, and how that piece fit into the scope. When the power company delayed us for nearly two weeks last year during the rains, or our showers failed to ship from the suppler and and arrived 2 weeks late, consistent communication between our two teams made sure we lost no time. We have another property in Malibu and we are going to start a major complete renovation this coming summer, We already contacted Metro Builders and Remodeling to start ordering all necessary materials. In my 24 years of property ownership and management, I have worked with many different contractors, large and small, easy to impossible. Our Successes with Metro Builders outshine the rest by far. Everyone from the owner of the company down to the painters on my house and everyone in between has delivered excellent quality of work and been a pleasure to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone. This is our 2nd project with Metro Builders in the past 6 months. This time they replaced our roof and painted our interior house. As usual the workers were very professional, the painting work was very clean and neat, they covered everything so all my furniture and flooring stayed clean, and they finished up really fast. The roof was done in no time and the tile was laid out professionally. We even got a big discount for returning customers on the best tile roof we wanted that came with a warranty for 30 years. We will definitely use Metro Builders for our future projects, the foreman and workers remodeled almost our entire house with the best prices and high quality. Thankx again, Ellen.

Me and my husband were always thinking about remodeling our kitchen and bathrooms, we gathered some estimate for about 3 months from different companies so we had an idea how much we had to spend, until my friend recommended about her contractor that she was really happy from his performance. After me and my husband met with the contractor, we decided to go ahead and hire him, the reason that we decided to go with Metro Builders & Remodeling is, first we felt really comfortable with the company reps, we sow his work at my friends house which was in high standards, very professional, and we have got the best quality materials in less than the other companies bids. The work area which was the kitchen and the master bathroom first was very clean, I got my kitchen back in one week,and it was my dream kitchen, and my bathroom too. The kitchen cabinets were exactly what we wanted, the floor and countertop were a perfect mach, the bathroom was amazing, every step of the way was up to code, it was great! then we started the 2nd bathroom that was done in no time, the workers and forman came on time every day, very polite and respectful. we didn't have to do anything, except choosing colors and fixtures without even leaving the house or design for the cabinet which was done at our house, the company reps took care of the whole project. At the beginning of the project I was a little bit worried, i wasn't so happy to be under construction but this feeling was gone when i saw the quality work that was done in less time then planed.

Metro Builders build for us a new master bedroom with full bathroom and walking closet, total of 650 sq ft. The all process run so smooth and fast, the communication between the contractor and the workers are amazing!!! Very good communication with the city inspector. The project was done in less than 2 Months. So clean and so beautiful. THANK YOU METRO BUILDERS!!!
