Description of Work: The owner came and evaluated our unit. Very honest about his opinion. He's solution and material he's using are not cheap but works. I'm satisfied.

Description of Work: My pool filter developed a leak and needed to be replaced. I decided to order the part on line (eBay) and posted a request on Angie's List for a professional to get it installed. Mike responded promptly. He quoted a fixed price of $200 for the installation. When the filter arrived after 8 days, it was a bit banged up in shipping, there was a small fiberglass piece broken off the base. I decided to have it installed anyway, hoping that the inside was intact. I was wrong. The poor packaging by the eBay vendor damaged the inside and bent the bolt holding the bolt, preventing Mike from opening it to see what was going on inside. At that point I decided to return it (a saga by itself) and Mike offered to supply the filter and get it installed the same day. At the end of the day his price was only $100 more than what it would have cost me with the eBay + installer minus the headache. Well worth it. |Mike is knowledgeable, courteous, prompt and responsive. He is a true professional and I highly recommend him. |

Description of Work: Mike Sidoti from Gold Coast Pool and Spa called me back right away and was very professional and helpful. I didn't select this company because they don't do pool leak detection but Mike recommended Leak Solutions, a highly rated Angie's List company that I did end up using. I would definitely consider Coast Coast for pool maintenance in the future, however.

Description of Work: I was selling a house acting as selling agent and the pool did not have a GFCI or Bonding wire. Mike came out that afternoon, looked at the pool and did the work as soon as escrow closed. He was reasonable, RELIABLE and professional. I was putting another house up for sale and asked Mike to look at that system. He was kind enough to go to the house and check out the wiring and let me know there was already a gfci. During the home inspection yesterday, the inspector said there was no GFCI. I was surprised and sent Mike an email. Mike said there is a GFCI and the inspector didn't know where to look. I sent the other agent the email Mike sent. Now I have a client's pool malfunctioning. I contacted Mike and asked about it. Mike was very patient and said he would be glad to check out the pool. I plan on calling him again and recommending him.
