Description of Work: Replaced the drain and drain pipe to trap in bathtub. They did an excellent job. The pipe was 53 years old and at a angle, but they were able to remove and replace it. They also replaced the old fixtures in the tub.

Description of Work: Wow, Matthew gave us a quick estimate on Friday and was out Monday installing 2 faucets and a water pressure regulator. He was fast, the estimate and work was fair and he was overall a really nice guy that you knew you could trust. I have my permanent plumbing company.

Description of Work: He replaced the old kitchen faucet with a new one. He was on time and very courteous and professional in his demeanor and dress. There was no mess left and it took about 45 minutes. I have no idea what the going rate is for plumbing services. The $188.00 was for the installation only because this is their hourly flat fee.

Description of Work: I have a 7 unit apartment building. On the morning of June 7 a tenant called and said there was water streaming from the water heater for the building. The building has a 100 gallon heater, much bigger than one can get at Home Depot or Lowes. I called Paster and Son and they arrived at the building about 1 to 2 hours later. Chris diagnosed that the heater had rusted through and that we'd need a new one. Chris was very professional, made a call or two and within 30 minutes had the whole job figured out. By noon, Paster had the new heater delivered, removed the washer and dryer in the room that housed the heater, and by 3, the new heater was installed. Chris had told me there was no need to hang around and called me at 4 to tell me everything was working properly. He even admitted to knocking a small picture frame that held some apartment legal notices off the wall and breaking the glass. That wasn't a big deal to me but what the big deal was he actually owned up to it! I've never had a contractor or a housekeeper or a gardener own up to anything that they accidentally broke. I usually find out a week or two later and it drives me crazy. I commended him on his honesty and he was very modest and apologetic. I was impressed. A good company. An honest company. I'll use them again. Lastly, it may seem like $3000 is too much to pay for a water heater, but believe me I checked out all of the internet sites for 100 gallon heaters and the heaters themselves are usually over $3000, and this one was installed and the old one carried away for the same price.

Description of Work: Tech. showed up right on time. Had a wonderful cheerful disposition. Did they job in less then 10 mins!!! Left our bathtub nice and clean. Will use them again and again. Wonderful company!

Description of Work: Incredibly good. Professional, punctual, personable, knowledgable, and leave only when a job is well done and double-checked. Cleaning drains, replacing toilets and valves, testing and replacing pressure valves for age and damage from street work (thanks, DWP), replacing aged water heaters. It's a partial list, but each job was done with quality and pride. I'm glad I found them.

Description of Work: This is the best plumbing company EVER! We found them quite be accident when our plumbing backed up on Labor Day in 2009. They were the only local plumbers who work on holidays without charging outrageous fees for doing so. We have not used another plumber since. They are prompt, reliable and not overly expensive. In the past two years, they installed two water heaters (one tankless) at our home and unplugged the sewer line (tree roots) numerous times. Since we foundthem we have only used Ed Paster and would not consider using another plumbing service.

Description of Work: Chris had to install a brand new toilet in the upstairs bathroom. He also had to replace some tub facets. Chris was very efficient and funny.
