Our records indicate that you purchased an irrigation audit in the summer of 2013, we made several attempts to schedule a time to do the audit but never heard back. Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for an irrigation system audit for only $75.00. It was a total bust for the service as I expected him to check out the drip system and I wanted them to give something letting me know how to increase the efficiency of the system. I thought the review that they gave me on the system was worthless.

Dear member - We believe you've given us an inaccurate review due that our records confirm that you were provided with a thorough report of the irrigation audit; this included a report of the drip zone you described in your review. The full report described the issues, made recommendations along with costs for repairs. We will submit a copy of our irrigation report to Angie's List for verification and removal of your review given the fact that our records clearly show your review is not accurate. I have copied/pasted the issues, recommendations and cost to repair the drip zone below: Partial > COPIED/PASTED (irrigation report) as it relates the the review submitted - IRRIGATION ZONE 5 (PINK) > zone irrigates all pots on porch. It was determined the adjustable existing emitters are set to a high flow causing major run off. Please find attached photo "major run off on porch" illustrates excessive amount of water being washed down the driveway. Recommendations: It is recommended to replace all existing emitters with 1 gallon fixed emitters to prevent run off. COSTS: $65.00 new installation of a 4 inch pop sprinkler head/nozzle in SECTION 3. After audit was sent via email, we also made contact through Angie's List to let you know they the audit was sent to you via email we never received a response. We didn't use the company.
Description of Work: The provider came and did a survey of the property. Later on email he us an estimate of what needed to be done before he can provide us the service we paid for. We chose to take a loss and not update our sprinkler system.

Description of Work: He did the required sprinkler assessment. He then did a quote on repairs and it seemed extremely high $2,000. He charged me extra to look at valves that were no longer in use. We discussed replanting of areas and then the price jumped to between $6,000 to $8,000 depending on what work I decided upon. I stopped communicating with him as this was way above my budget.

Dear member - You purchased a deal that only included up 5 valves, however your irrigation layout consisted of 9 valves. Per the agreement you were billed for all audited valves; and yes two valve turned out to have all sprinkler heads disabled but in-ground line was not properly deleted off the manifold. Looking back at our records you made the decision to run an audit as you had concerns with weeds spreading throughout; therefore we agreed to audit to ensure there were no leaks at both valves and in-ground lines. The full irrigation report provided to you consisted of major structuring of the irrigation system and upgrades from conventional to low flow systems, this included a full report of the problems and cost for all repair accordingly. The initial landscape work consisted of the deconstruction of the several large planter beds in the front yard, this included major changes to the existing irrigation layout. Quote increased as you added additional major work to the back yard which included removal of approximately 40 hedges, re-structuring of the irrigation system, new plants on several areas and extend lawn in back sections of a hillside at an estimated 1500 square footage. We made recommendations for you to outsource some of the major work to your current gardner as you expressed budget concerns, we couldn't accommodate the large discounts you requested given the liability involved in running a business with workers comp, bond, and liability insurances etc. We value your feedback. I needed a reliable company and person to take care of our yard in West Hills. I found Ervin on Angie's List. He was very professional in his bid, approach, attitude and demeanor. His team did a fantastic job cleaning up our backyard to get ready for a baby shower. The yard looked fantastic. He will be coming back every week! I highly recommend him. He hosed off our back patio and planted a few flowers for us. Ervin is an articulate, likable, easy to work with person.
