. I called the company to come back and was told that they won't come back for the next week. When I said what kind of customer service is that? I was told to call the my insurance company and tell them. That they are a small company and they can't accommodate. I had to pay another copay for another company to come out and take a look at the AC. When the other company came out they said that there was a leak that was miss diagnosed and that they AC needed to be completely replaced. This company wasted my time and set me back a week in a half to fix my ac.Do not, I repeat Do not use this company for any of your ac repairs!!!!
Description of Work: My home owners insurance sent out this company to fix the ac in my condo. This is the rudest, most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. First It took 2 days for them to call to set up an appointment to come out. Then they came out and said that they fixed the problem. 4 hrs later the AC stopped working.

The service provider came specifically to collect his $60 service fee; he never even intended to investigate the AC problem.
Description of Work: Absolutely nothing, just collected the service fee, and left without examining the problem.

Technician showed up on time. He spent all of 5 minutes in the attic saying it needed major service and he would call back. He spent several minutes then yelling at someone on the phone in foreign language in front of me. He also said the attic would need platforms installed before they would go back in. He wanted his $60 deductible on the spot and left. They notified the home warranty company the repair estimate of $325, plus we would need to install the platform. HW company stated this was not covered. I then hired another highly rated HVAC contractor to come out. He inspect the unit and everything check out normal. He had no issue of needing the platform installed. Total repairs bill $125. Would not hire Comfort Services. Complaint sent to HW company.
Description of Work: Had Comfort Services dispatched by home warranty company for HVAC inspection.

It was a horrible experience . He was very unprofessional and unfriendly. Communicated extremely poorly and acted like he did not speak any english. When he called his office back with my husband present he spoke in his Vernacular so it was impossible to understand him. Finally he wrote up a report detailing his findings and said we should wait 2-3 days to hear from the insurance company. When we heard from them they denied the claim because his report to them said he did not believe our non functioning Swamp cooler was due to normal wear and tear! I am really disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication, My husband was with him throughout the inspection and he was rude and unfriendly. We have only just owned our property for a few months and although the unit is old, I really do not believe his report is genuine. We are getting a second opinion and i am not in the least bit surprised at the poor reviews this company has on AL

I would never recommend Comfort Services to anyone. When they called the schedule service, they called at 9PM on a Sunday evening. When I requested that they come Thursday (any time), because I couldn't do Monday I was informed that they would most likely come between 12-3, but that they might have to re-schedule. I work far from home and that was the only day I was available. Since I gave them 4 days notice, why would they have to re-schedule and how would they know this Sunday night? The technician ended up calling me at 11AM to see if he could come early, I said sure, but I needed 20 minutes. He showed up and my first concern was when he didn't know how to use a simple thermostat. Then he proceeded to only visually check the air conditioning unit outside and the inside HVAC unit, then only tested the output temperature of one vent, closest to the unit and told me that everything was working perfectly. He didn't clean the unit outside, which was full of derbies or service any of the units while he was there. He told me he replaced the filter, but when I asked for my old one back, that's when I discovered he didn't actually change the filter. Not only was no work performed except a visual inspection, he also insulted me and was flat out rude. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: We called our home warranty service and they told us Comfort Services would be the ones coming to look at our air conditioner. He only visually inspected the HVAC units and tested only one of the vents. He did not clean, tune up or do anything beyond.

We have been using them for many years. Their price was really low. We have an older unit which other service providers could not fix. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They tried to get to us as soon as they could. We have trusted them to come and work on our heater and they have always done a good job.
Description of Work: We have used the services of Comfort Services on 12th of October 2010 for cleaning and servicing our heater. We wanted them to check on our system before we started using it again.

I thought they did a pretty good job. It was within the warranty period, so I spent $60 for the deductible. I thought that they very professional, called me and scheduled a time and showed up at that time. He fixed the air-conditioning pretty quickly and seemed to be knowledgeable.
Description of Work: I used Comfort Services a few days ago and they fixed my air-conditioning unit.

Stepan (sp?) was punctual and pleasant. He looked at everything and let us know that the electric was running to one line for both the furnace and the air conditioner and that he had to call in an electrician to split the lines. The electrician was scheduled by our home warranty insurance and after the electrician was finished Comfort Services came out again and had everything fixed quickly and under our home warranty policy.
Description of Work: Our air conditioner and furnace weren't functioning in the house we had just purchased. It was a foreclosed home so there were a few issues. The furnace and the air conditioner were hooked up to the same electrical line (whoops!) and the air conditioner was filled with leaves and dirt and who knows what else.

Comfort Services was sent to me by our home warranty company for a "second opinion" after the first company said poor maintenance caused the failure of my blower motor, and refused to accept my proof of regular service. Comfort Services contacted me promptly and I did not have to wait long for an appointment. Stefan arrived on time, and was very thorough. He not only confirmed the failed motor, but also identified a problem with the condenser and a code violation in the location of the disconnect switch. Most importantly, he indicated that a nearly 30-year-old rooftop unit cannot be kept clean and disagreed that a failure to maintain created the need to replace the motor. This was very unusual for a "second opinion" from our home warranty company. As a result of Stefan's honesty, our home warranty company agreed to pay for replacement of the motor and condenser, which would otherwise have cost me at least $500. Replacement of the disconnect was not a covered item, because it was installed incorrectly, so Comfort Services gave me an estimate of $220 for installation of a new, code-compliant disconnect. Stefan returned to do the work and spent more than an hour, not only replacing the defective parts, but cleaning the unit as best he could. He was on time on both occasions, very polite and informative, and cleaned up after his work. I paid the amount I had been quoted. I would not hesitate to use Comfort Services again.
Description of Work: Replacement of blower motor, condenser and disconnect for rooftop HVAC.

I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CAME OUT ONCE, WORKED QUICKLY WITH NO FUSS, AND THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SOLVED. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IF I NEEDED TO.
Description of Work: THEY CHANGED A DIRTY FILTER IN MY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND ADJUSTED THE TIMING, SO THE SYSTEM WOULD ONCE AGAIN BLOW OUT COLD AIR.
